The most obvious differences between these two leather vests are we've removed the collar, added side laces, and changed to all-black hardware. There are six generous pockets: a 6"x8" leather lined gun pocket (with barrel pocket) which snaps closed, an open inside pocket, two waist-level exterior handwarmer pockets, and two snap-down exterior breast pockets. Let me start off with this is my second vest I have purchased from Fox Creek Leather and again they don't disappoint. With that said this summer I started looking for another vest. I researched her on Fox Creek Leather as well as several other sites. I would go back and fourth before finally settling on another website and brand. Big mistake. I returned that vest to the place I ordered from. Again I go back to Fox Creek Leather as I really like there products but unfortunately I did not go with my instinct and once again I made another mistake and purchased another vest from another website. I received that vest and I did not like the texture and it seemed to be a little cheaper made than others. SO again I returned it. Finally, I went with my gut and I should have all along and ended up purchasing my second Fox Creek Leather Vest and I will tell you Fox Creek is now and forever my leather store. There products are second to none and are made with high quality leather and craftsmanship. I will never buy elsewhere.
p.s. my brother likes the vest as well and was inquiring as to where I purchase mine from. I wouldn't be surprised if he buys Fox Creek Leather vest as well. EXCELLENT PRODUCTS!!!

I own three Fox Creek vests. All fit great are high quality, well made products. I usually wear a 46 but I ordered this as a 44 for a more tailored fit. It worked out perfectly! Knowing that these products are American made is the icing on the cake. Love Fox Creek.

For a long time I have been a big fan of Fox Creek Leather, and specifically in the recent past I bought one of their biker wallets. That wallet turned out to be one of the best small investments I have made in a long time as it is now lasted me for years.
Based on that initial purchase, I decided to spring for a high-end quality vest made in the USA. I have in the past purchased cheaper, less sturdy vests from chain stores and biker rallies only to be disappointed by the poor craftsmanship and imferior materials used. You know the ones I'm talking about: really thin cheap leather, poor and inaccurate stitching, mass produced garbage.
To say I was impressed when my vest from Fox Creek arrived is probably a huge understatement that cannot be emphasized enough. I knew I would be getting a good quality product based on my own experience, and the experience of others I know if purchase from Fox Creek in the past, but I was really blown away by the craftsmanship applied to this vest. The materials alone are worth the price tag: the leather is thick yet supple, the stitching is stout and precise, and the buttons/rivets all appear to be top quality items.
When you spend this kind of money on any kind of purchase I think you find that most people are hypercritical of what they're spending their hard earned dollars on, and I wouldn't say I am any different. But I am so happy I finally decided to pony up some big boy money and buy a big boy vest. This thing wears like a hand tailored vest, fits perfectly, feels like a second skin, and I really am still amazed at just how good of a product Fox Creek puts out.
So far I've ridden in the rain, colder weather (about 50°), and out in the heat, and am pleased as punch. On top of all this, Fox Creek Leather's customer service has been outstanding for the very few, minor issues that I've had. I really cannot say enough about how outstanding this company has been both in service and product. Next purchase will be Fox Creek chaps.
When you finally decide to upgrade to a real handcrafted item of superior quality, and made in the USA (which supports local businesses), give Fox Creek Leather a chance. You WILL NOT be disappointed!
You Get What You Pay For...

Why would you pay top dollar for a vest when you can find something that looks about the same for a lot less money on another website? Well, because it is made in USA for one! That may not matter to some people, but to me it was a deciding factor.
This is the real deal, not some ultra thin made in Pakistan job. The leather is thick and well tanned and it fit great out of the box. The snaps are also high quality which is nice. Even though they offer a lifetime warranty I know I will probably never have to take them up on it!

Owned this waistcoat for over a year now, it was comfortable, fit well and looked good when it arrived, it's more comfortable, fits even better and looks great now. Quality kit doesn't come cheap but with Fox Creek you get more than your moneys worth... and that's taking import tax into the equation too. Made to measure and made to last.
