The Men's Vented Racing Jacket is our best selling leather motorcycle jacket, highly functional with simple no frills styling. It has two generous vents front and rear with a tough mesh shell to allow maximum airflow. The main zipper has an interior wind flap to eliminate air penetration. An inside snap and zippered pockets are set in the leather facing on the left and right side (respectively). Elbows and shoulders are reinforced with extra leather and the Vented Racing Jacket is cut long in the back with a padded kidney panel.
Two options are available for adjusting the sides - snaps or lacing. There are two zippered pockets on the front of the jacket and expansion joints behind the shoulders. This leather jacket has zippered sleeves and an insulated removable full sleeve liner with a hide-away fleece neck warmer. Soft, heavy full grain leather with a dull luster shows off the natural grain and compliments the antique brass hardware.
Please read How Your Motorcycle Jacket Is Supposed To Fit if you have any questions on the sizing.
Please note: Some older stock jackets do not include sleeve vents. If you desire a specific style, please contact us for availability.
*Some of our Men's Vented Racing Jackets do not have the armor pockets. Due to popular demand, we are transitioning to all Vented Racing Jackets having armor pockets, but in the meantime there are limited sizes that are available without them. If you don't want armor pockets, please let us know in the notes and we will ship as available.

Ventilation Done Right
Posted by Mike G on Mar 1st 2017
I ride my full dress Cross Country 30 miles one way to work every day. It's cool in the morning 40s to low 50s but in the afternoon its hit low 80's. For the past month, I've been wearing my vented Fox Creek Leather jacket. Even with armor and the liner in the jacket, the vents kept me cool. Now I don't expect the same when the temp hits 115 but I was amazed at how well the venting worked. I have to say that with just the liner and a dress shirt, I'm warm and comfortable riding on the freeway at 42 degrees. I phoned about a question I had on the jacket and spoke with a very nice young lady that instructed me on the size I should purchase. I was thinking I would need to return it for the correct size. But she nailed it. Thanks for an awesome jacket, great quality, great price and helpful staff.
The BEST I've ever seen!

I purchased the men's vented racing jacket, and I was shocked at what I received in the mail. This coat is by FAR the best quality leather jacket I've ever put on or seen. These days you get what you pay for, and every penny that went into this jacket is worth it. It's tough, heavy, strong and made in AMERICA! Thanks Fox Creek for your quality product.
Also for anyone wondering..... customer service was excellent!!!! I measured wrong the first time and my coat was a bit snug, I talked to a real human and not a robot on the phone and they sent me a bigger size without hesitation. Got my bigger coat 3 days later, and sent back the one that was snug. I was actually able to compare the two coats and knew which one a wanted. I'm very picky and Fox Creek was great to work with. Anyways. Thanks to the whole Fox Creek team for doing leather RITE!!

I recently purchasd the Vented Racing Jacket, and was really impressed with the quailty of the leather as well as the professional stitching/zipper work. Several of my relatives commented on the great looks and excellent overall quailty of the jacket. Its a winner!

It took a lot of trust for me to order a jacket online, and it's trust well placed. I ordered what I thought would be my size, found it a bit snug for layering, and Fox Creek provided outstanding customer service in replacing it with a larger size. It's a really hefty jacket with excellent quality leather and warmth. The longer sleeves and body of the tall size are well-suited to riding in cooler weather and this is going to do double duty as both my riding jacket and my winter coat (I live in the Pacific NW). I ordered the laced-sides and am pleased with being able to lace to snug to my waist while the chest and shoulders give me good freedom of movement, even in riding position. I have yet to see how well it vents, but that's a secondary consideration for my riding climate. I really, really like this jacket, and I will be looking to Fox Creek when I replace my vest and chaps.

Vented Racing Jacket

I searched for USA made motorcycle jackets and found Fox Creek Leather, mostly the reviews were a sell for me. I have worn my vented racer the last six weeks in temps ranging from 45 degrees to 65 degrees, the venting at 65 degrees is real comfortable, the fit is tremendous, the quality of materials and craftsmanship is 5 stars for sure. After my purchase of the jacket and Elk Skin Gauntlet gloves I purchased the Leather Over Pants which I like
Ticked that it's taken me so long to find a jacket like this

I was always on the hunt for the best (for me) leather jacket for riding, but also wearing during cold non-riding times. I'm 54 retired military and had them all - Fast Gear, Hein Gericke, Belstaff, Brooks, Vanson etc. I can honestly state that having worn this for the past few weeks, I've donated my other 2 and am completely satisfied for the one I purchased (vented racing) and is my only from know on. It's thick and heavy - exactly the way I want it. I fly low (FJR 1300) in Texas and the weather's only consistent in the summer when we're 2 feet from the sun. The vents work exceptionally well, and now (Oct), have cool mornings and hot afternoons. The zippers for the vents tuck into the jacket very well, for a more-polished touch. Thank you all for making such a high-quality jacket in the USA!
It Doesn't Get Any Better

I ordered thee Vented Motorcycle Racing Jacket and I am extremely happy. The quality of the leather and construction is outstanding. And the styling is exactly what I had been looking for. I'm not a huge fan of looking like a biker, and the Vented Racing Jacket is perfect for wearing on the street as well as providing excellent protection if you ever go down. This is one heavy duty take a tumble jacket, yet looks like a million dollars off the bike. Color me happy.
The venting is quite good and the stitching and finishing is perfect.
I am a 44 chest and ordered a 46 to add a little room and to wear a sweatshirt in cold weather. I like my clothes looser than most and decided to return the jacket for a 48 that is a perfect fit. Fox Creek was great about the return and had the larhger size on its way as the first one was on its way back to them.
All in all, it doesn't get any better than Fox Creek. Beautiful designs, superb leather and construction, very reasonable prices, and firts rate service. Thanks, Folks!
Hoping for a grandson to will thing to!

I took delivery on a Fox Creek Vented Racing Jacket a week ago. The next day I headed out with temps in the low 50s - down to Napa, then across the Sacramento Valley with temps riding to mid-80s before I transitioned to my lighter Dianesse. The following day found me at the 5000 plus foot level in the Sierra, where the jacket was, again employed, vents closed for a while, against the chill.
The Fox Creek is outstanding! Heavy, sure, but with the vents open, it is cool and make me feel secure - if that's the right word - no matter what the traffic conditions. The quality of this jacket is superior to anything I've ever owned and I thought I'd been buying good stuff in the past. The zippers are substantial and appear not prone to failure. The leather is thick and very nicely finished. Having been warned in advance, I do find that because of the thickness and structure of the front pockets, I get a little "Dolly Parton" effect as the bottom of the jacket tends to migrate northward when in the saddle - just a comment, by no means an annoyance.
I appreciate Fox Creek's corporate story and am impressed by their customer service, checking with me prior to shipping the jacket to ensure the size I ordered was correct for my build.
I am looking forward to how this performs as the temperatures cool in the fall and through the winter.
Not only do I think this may be the last leather jacket I'll need to purchase, I am now hoping for a grandson who rides to whom I can pass this on in about twenty-five years.
