It has two generous vents front and rear with a tough mesh shell to allow maximum airflow. The main zipper has an interior wind flap to eliminate air penetration. An inside snap and zippered pockets are set in the leather facing on the left and right side (respectively). Elbows and shoulders are reinforced with extra leather and the Vented Racing Jacket is cut long in the back with a padded kidney panel.
Two options are available for adjusting the sides - snaps or lacing. There are two zippered pockets on the front of the jacket and expansion joints behind the shoulders. This leather jacket has zippered sleeves and an insulated removable full sleeve liner with a hide-away fleece neck warmer. Soft, heavy full grain leather with a dull luster shows off the natural grain and compliments the antique brass hardware.

Vented Racing Jacket
Posted by Chris Portland, CT on Nov 20th 2016
I searched for USA made motorcycle jackets and found Fox Creek Leather, mostly the reviews were a sell for me. I have worn my vented racer the last six weeks in temps ranging from 45 degrees to 65 degrees, the venting at 65 degrees is real comfortable, the fit is tremendous, the quality of materials and craftsmanship is 5 stars for sure. After my purchase of the jacket and Elk Skin Gauntlet gloves I purchased the Leather Over Pants which I like
Ticked that it's taken me so long to find a jacket like this

I was always on the hunt for the best (for me) leather jacket for riding, but also wearing during cold non-riding times. I'm 54 retired military and had them all - Fast Gear, Hein Gericke, Belstaff, Brooks, Vanson etc. I can honestly state that having worn this for the past few weeks, I've donated my other 2 and am completely satisfied for the one I purchased (vented racing) and is my only from know on. It's thick and heavy - exactly the way I want it. I fly low (FJR 1300) in Texas and the weather's only consistent in the summer when we're 2 feet from the sun. The vents work exceptionally well, and now (Oct), have cool mornings and hot afternoons. The zippers for the vents tuck into the jacket very well, for a more-polished touch. Thank you all for making such a high-quality jacket in the USA!
It Doesn't Get Any Better

I ordered thee Vented Motorcycle Racing Jacket and I am extremely happy. The quality of the leather and construction is outstanding. And the styling is exactly what I had been looking for. I'm not a huge fan of looking like a biker, and the Vented Racing Jacket is perfect for wearing on the street as well as providing excellent protection if you ever go down. This is one heavy duty take a tumble jacket, yet looks like a million dollars off the bike. Color me happy.
The venting is quite good and the stitching and finishing is perfect.
I am a 44 chest and ordered a 46 to add a little room and to wear a sweatshirt in cold weather. I like my clothes looser than most and decided to return the jacket for a 48 that is a perfect fit. Fox Creek was great about the return and had the larhger size on its way as the first one was on its way back to them.
All in all, it doesn't get any better than Fox Creek. Beautiful designs, superb leather and construction, very reasonable prices, and firts rate service. Thanks, Folks!
Hoping for a grandson to will thing to!

I took delivery on a Fox Creek Vented Racing Jacket a week ago. The next day I headed out with temps in the low 50s - down to Napa, then across the Sacramento Valley with temps riding to mid-80s before I transitioned to my lighter Dianesse. The following day found me at the 5000 plus foot level in the Sierra, where the jacket was, again employed, vents closed for a while, against the chill.
The Fox Creek is outstanding! Heavy, sure, but with the vents open, it is cool and make me feel secure - if that's the right word - no matter what the traffic conditions. The quality of this jacket is superior to anything I've ever owned and I thought I'd been buying good stuff in the past. The zippers are substantial and appear not prone to failure. The leather is thick and very nicely finished. Having been warned in advance, I do find that because of the thickness and structure of the front pockets, I get a little "Dolly Parton" effect as the bottom of the jacket tends to migrate northward when in the saddle - just a comment, by no means an annoyance.
I appreciate Fox Creek's corporate story and am impressed by their customer service, checking with me prior to shipping the jacket to ensure the size I ordered was correct for my build.
I am looking forward to how this performs as the temperatures cool in the fall and through the winter.
Not only do I think this may be the last leather jacket I'll need to purchase, I am now hoping for a grandson who rides to whom I can pass this on in about twenty-five years.
The Vented Racing Jacket

Just like so many people have previously stated, I was amazed by the heft of this jacket and I was truly impressed that this jacket could be so soft and the leather be this thick.
When I first put this jacket on I thought that it was actually too small and that there was no way that I could wear my normal insulated flannel shirt, that I always wear, under it. How wrong I was! I wore this jacket around for half a day and it was like it was made just for me no matter whether I had layers on under it OR just a T-shirt.
My first ride after receiving this jacket was a 40º and cloudy day, and i was only wearing a T-shirt and a very thin hoodie, under the jacket. When the temp. reached 48º I took the hoodie off and I was still very comfortable while riding on my Harley Street Glide. Since then, I have ridden in 80º and sunny. I did take the quilted liner out, opened the vents and was again very comfortable.
Not only am I very happy with this jacket but the friendliness and level of professionalism that I received from Terri as she helped me with all my questions and making sure that I got my measurements right. Even after I placed my order I had numerous emails back and forth with both Terri and Melinda and again with the same professionalism and friendly manner.
If I have a need for any other leather wear I will look to Fox Creek for all my needs. My hat's off to Fox Creek, thanks for the great jacket and excellent service. Also my girlfriend is equally impressed with the insulated chaps that she received.
Vented Racing Jacket....Heirloom Quality Leather Wear!

I recently bought a Vented Racing Jacket for riding my Honda F6B. I've always wanted a really nice leather jacket and now I have one. I'm in Florida so the liner is out of it and it might never go back in... but this jacket is awesome and, as long as I don't tear it up, it's the sort of thing you can pass down to a friend or relative when you croak.
I also bought a "build your own Classic Vest" for myself and a Monarch purse for my girlfriend. Everything that we have from Fox Creek is the best I've ever owned and the customer service is the best. All of the folks there are interested in only one thing and that is customer satisfaction. I ordered the wrong size jacket and they sent me a new one before they even got the small one back.
I have a $900+ "Remy" jacket that is not for motorcycle riding and is really a superb jacket. The Fox Creek jacket, vest and purse are all equal to or better than the Remy in materials, workmanship and fit. When it comes to leather, I won't shop anywhere else.

This jacket is worth every penny. I was hesitant on the sizing but the size chart was perfect. It is snug fit but not tight which is how I like my jackets to fit. This is protective gear for my first bike. I did a lot or research prior to going with this great product.
Leather is proven the best abrasion resistant material and this leather is thick but very soft. Very well made thick and heavy out of the box but very comfortable and surprisingly light to wear even in 90 degree GA humidity. I just got back from a two hour ride in the sun and was very comfortable. Highly recommend this over the mesh products available.
And being in the military; I appreciate it is made in the USA!

I chose the Fox Creek Leather Vented Racing Jacket at the beginning of the Spring 2014 and I could tell this jacket was everything they advertised about it, and everything the other reviewers said about it. If your looking for a high quality riding jacket don't look any further.this jacket and there other products [I also have a vest and gloves from Fox Creek Leather].
They are far better than any name brand jackets at your bike shop. If your thinking about purchasing this jacket or any other Fox Creek Leather product do not hesitate.
There customer service is the best I have ever experienced, they will help you with your total purchase and are there for you. When they say lifetime guarantee they mean it.
Amazing Fit & Quality

After ordering a $250 leather riding jacket from a popular online company (China made), and sending it back---I realized after I received my Fox Creek Leather Vented Racing Jacket, you get what you pay for.
I'm 6'2", 220lbs and ordered a 48 Long. Fit is perfect ---- like a tailor had measured me!!! I measured 44" tight, 47" with a hoodie sweatshirt on .... So I ordered a 48 long which allowed 4 fingers in between my chest and tape. Fit was spot on. Not to tight & not to loose. At 6'2" the Long fit was spot on with sleeve length and kidney pad.
The quality and construction of the jacket are unbelievable. You would swear its made by gods. No lie ! Worth every bit what Fox Creek Leather charges. I would had paid more, and I'm a poor boy. Ordered a pair of the elkskin riding gloves too. Perfect. Will be ordering a pair of custom elkskin chaps as soon as I save enough money.
You can not go wrong with the Fox Creek Leather quality. Top of the line in my book.
An Amazing Jacket!

After buying a Harley, I just couldn't bring myself to get a "Harley" jacket - I didn't want to be one of those guys that has Harley everything. So I measured twice and even called to talk to one of the helpful customer service reps on the phone who suggested I get a long (I'm 6'3"). I went for the Vented Racing Jacket because I live near Lake Michigan where the temperature can drop 10 degrees along the lake shore but then heat up 15 degrees 30 miles in the other direction. I wanted versatility. But I was a bit skeptical because I've never paid this much for a jacket before and I was ordering online.
The jacket arrived in two days and I was a bit startled at first by the weight of the jacket. This is one thick jacket. The leather is definitely quality. The next thing I noticed was the heavy duty zippers. I pulled the jacket out of the box and even though it was 75 degrees out, I zipped it up and hit the road. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to find the zippers for the vents extremely easy while riding. This jacket is built to be used on the fly, literally.
Another thing I like about this jacket is that the zippers can be somewhat hidden, tucked away inside the seams- meaning I can wear this jacket around town when I'm not riding and not appear to be wearing a Vented Racing Jacket. Even the interior pockets are roomy and are constructed of the same thick leather that the rest of the jacket is. I don't have a concealed carry, but the interior pocket is heavy duty, it almost seems built to carry a handgun. Or, in my case, a garage door opener! Good job Fox Creek Leather, thanks for a great jacket.
