Exactly what I wanted.

For those of you who want a snug fit, I would recommend going a size down from what the sizing chart recommends. I also posted a video review of these on youtube.
Just don't fit.

First off I wanna say that I love your guys stuff. I have a jacket, vest, and chaps that I wouldn't trade for anything. But for some reason I can't get comfortable in your gloves. I've had 2 different pair of maverick gloves. First pair I went by the size chart and thought they were great for a while. Then the seam started to bother my thumb on my throttle hand. I thought maybe I just bought the wrong size, because the seam was digging right into the end of my thumb. So I bought another pair, a size up. Again good for a while then the same thing. So I tried the outseam gloves. The seam runs along the inside of my thumb where it sits on the throttle. Again I love your stuff, I just can't get comfortable in your gloves.

These gloves have an awesome feel to them. They feel like great quality like all Fox Creek products. Unfortunately, the thumbs are too small for my hands so I haven't actually worn them more than a few times due to hot spots. I followed the sizing guide and they fit fairly well across the width of my hand but the fingers and thumb are probably just a little too short for my hands.
Just what I was looking for

Looking for a glove with a short cuff and leather that wasnt too thick or too thin. Maverick is just what I wanted. Look great and feel even better. After ordering them they were on my doorstep before I had a chance to wonder when they would arrive.

I was in the market for new brown gloves. I heard that Fox Creek had great products and decided to check them out. I called and spoke with Brittney and asked if FC could make me a brown version of the Mavericks. She sent me some black ones to make sure the sizing was right because I would not be able to return the brown gloves due to it being a special order. When the black gloves arrived and I tried them on I was blown away by the quality. I ended up keeping the black and special ordered the brown, which just arrived and are also azimg. This a great company with fantastic customer service and products. Definitely buy from these guys, you will not be disappointed.

The Only Leather I'll Ever Wear
Posted by Joshua D on Nov 17th 2014
This review will serve two Fox Creek Leather products, The Maverick Gloves and The Rebel Vest.
I'm not a casual biker. I ride every single day. I used to wear cheap gloves and a bargain leather vest from a local motorcycle chain, but while browsing Fox Creek's site, I noticed these simple leather gloves, and the Rebel vest with its nice cossack collar. I loved the look, and hoped that simple didn't equal less safe.
I was hit by an impatient driver at an intersection, which caused my cruiser to spin out from under me. The driver didn't stick around, but every single witness told me what happened. And they couldn't believe I sprang back up after the collision. My body tumbled along the road a couple of times, but nothing was broken, and my injuries were not very serious. I realized later that night that with all the gashes and scrapes on my arms, my hands were completely unscathed. I grabbed the gloves from my vest pocket and saw that, even though they'd clearly been run along the street, they were totally intact. Not a ripped seam, not even a thread out of place. My hands would have been torn up had it not been for these gloves.
When I examined my vest, despite my body being thrown from my bike and rolling along the street, the leather barely shows any damage at all. The zippers and a couple of the snaps show scrapes, but these things in no way affect the functionality. My stomach sustained some road rash near the waistline, but I can only guess at what this amazing vest prevented.
After his evaluation of my bike's damage, my mechanic was astounded that I not only walked away from this collision, but that I walked away in such good shape. Of the four major components to safe riding, Fox Creek Leather is responsible for two. If you're reading this, debating a purchase for any reason, stop debating. I know for a fact that the difference between this company and what I was wearing before is a trip to the hospital and medical bills. That peace of mind is priceless. I can't thank Fox Creek Leather enough, and my wife would love make you all dinner, if it was feasible. Thank you, Fox Creek.
I will never in my life wear any other leather gear.
Went Down Wearing These Gloves
Posted by James Von Dant on Nov 16th 2014
As the title states, I went down while wearing these gloves a few weeks ago. I was coming off the highway and the back wheel slid out at about 40mph. My hands were completely protected. The gloves took a little bit of damage to the knuckle area, and remain a bit scuffed up still, but my hands were 100% scrape free and I couldn't be happier to have been wearing them when this accident happened.
Accidents aside, the gloves are amazing, soft and supple, and the fit is tight and secure. Follow the size chart and you won't be disappointed.
The only reason I gave these gloves a 4.5/5 is because the fingers are a bit shorter that I'd like. In order to get the proper finger size, I would have had to go up in the palm size by a full inch. They do stretch a bit though so also keep that in mind when ordering.
As always, a great product from a great company, I will continue to give my business to Fox Creek Leather in the future.

The last pair of Fox Creek gloves I had lasted about 6 years. Didn't think they could ever be replaced by anything better. The old gloves finally wore out after much use so I bought a pair of Mavericks, thinking I'd have to settle for second best.
Man, was I ever wrong. The Mavericks are THE best pair of riding gloves I have ever owned. Fit perfect, comfortable as all get out and zero break in needed. Can't imagine wearing anything else unless it's because of rain or real low temps.
Do yourself a favor. Get a pair!
Great Summer Glove
Posted by Douglas Riddle on Sep 18th 2014
I've been using this glove all Summer long and I am impressed, very comfortable glove to say the least, much better than most of those foreign junk gloves. Buy this USA made glove and you won't be sorry. Thanks FOX CREEK for a quality product and great service.
