Our Men's Vented Bomber Motorcycle Jacket features a removable full sleeve insulated liner with a hide-away fleece neck warmer. The elastic waist expansions on this bomber jacket allow for an effortless but secure fit. The venting system on this leather motorcycle jacket includes dual sleeve vents, two deep breast pocket vents (which function as both vents and pockets) and a rear horizontal exit vent. Additionally, the Men's Vented Bomber Motorcycle Jacket allows you to manage airflow through an inner leather facing crafted from perforated leather that can be zipped independently of the main exterior zipper.
The Vented Bomber Jacket also has armor provisional pockets in the elbows, shoulders, and back should you wish to use body armor with your motorcycle jacket (back armor and shoulder and elbow armor available separately).
T-Pro Armor may not fit all shoulder pockets unless it is trimmed to fit. Elbow and back armor should fit correctly without trimming.
The leather jacket also has a snap down collar and two inside pockets, a pocket with a snap closure on the left and one with a zippered closure pocket on the right. The Men's Vented Bomber Motorcycle Jacket has two outside zippered slash pockets.

I just received my vented bomber from Fox Creek. It had to be "custom" made in my size. I put the custom in quotes because I was assured that the jacket was fully returnable. As it turns out, that was a moot point. The jacket arrived today, about three weeks after placing my order. Everything about it is top notch.
I spent months researching leather motorcycle jackets, mostly from the big name brands. My Fox Creek jacket has those brands beat at a very competitive price point. The leather is thicker (and softer) and the jacket has all the bells and whistles without all of the corporate branding. I used to live less than an hour from Vanson's HQ and I can say that I prefer this jacket to theirs as well.
Finally, the customer service was great. It's nice doing business with a smaller company, where you can easily get the same representative on the phone during successive calls.

I purchased this jacket three years ago based on the reviews and recommendations on the web site and motorcycle forums. I wanted a heavy duty, comfortable jacket that would accommodate three seasons in Maryland - Fall through Spring.
I am very pleased with the quality of the jacket and the versatility of the design. The jacket keeps me warm in the Winter on 32 degree days and cool and protected in the Fall and Spring. Summer in Maryland is too hot and humid to consider leather.
I wear a 42 regular and purchased the 44 which fits well and allows for layering yet fits great with just a T-shirt underneath. Leather is heavy weight but supple. Great jacket and purchase. Based on my experience with this jacket I purchased two of the leather vests of which I am equally satisfied.
Love my vented bomber jacket!

I've had my bomber jacket for about 5 weeks now, and it is wonderful! The quality of the leather and the craftsmanship are as good as they come. And the style is great. I've always liked bomber jackets, and I wear this one pretty much anywhere, whether I'm riding or driving.
I've never felt as protected on my bike as I do when wearing this jacket. I like armor in my motorcycle jackets, so I purchased a set of D3O armor (http://www.d3o.com/markets/motorcycle/) from Motorcycle Gear.com. It fits well in the armor pockets, although I plan to adjust the shoulder pockets to get those pads to sit just a bit higher. Wearing the jacket with the D3O armor is very comfortable, on and off the bike.
I bought the jacket for cool to cold weather riding. So far I've ridden in temps ranging from about 40 to low 70s and have been very comfortable, even at highway speeds. I expect to be able to wear the jacket over a tee shirt up to about 80 degrees because of the excellent ventilation afforded by the inner perforated leather facing (great feature) and back vent.
As for sizing, I bought a 44 to allow room for layering in colder weather and more air flow when it warms up. At 6 ft and 175 lbs, I normally wear a 42, but the 44 was a better fit overall. I had the luxury of visiting the showroom, so I was able to try on every style in a couple of sizes.
Is this jacket worth the price? Yes! Would I buy it again? Yes! Was the customer service excellent? Yes! Thank you Fox Creek Leather!!
Buy This Jacket!

I searched for a leather riding jacket in many stores and at many biking events, but I was never satisfied with the leather quality and/or features of most products I came across.
I found Fox Creek Leather online, and after reading through a few of the reviews I decided to purchase the Vented Bomber Jacket. I am extremely happy with this jacket! The quality of the leather is much better than anything I have seen elsewhere, and I absolutely love the fit and look of this jacket. The sizing was spot-on, and I cannot say enough about the quality of the leather. I highly recommend this jacket to anyone in the market for a motorcycle jacket.
A great jacket!

I bought this jacket about 6-years ago when in Kansas. I am a casual rider but like to look good while riding. This jacket is phenomenal for both function and looks. I especially like the zippered and vented inner shelf (leather) which is perfect on all but the hottest summer days. You can keep the main outer zipper open and zip the inner vented leather zipper to close off the jacket like normal and secure the jacket. Fantastic versatility.
Now I am in NW Ohio so I use it all year long. Superb quality, fit, and comfort for such a heavy jacket, the perfect cruiser jacket. And is heavy, not one of those "lambskin" jackets, no, NO. This is heavy but very supple ridin' leather. The perfect jacket period. I just finished a ride at highway speeds on a 40-degree day with a steady 20 MPH wind. The jacket did not bleed wind a bit.
The Perfect Motorcycle Jacket

Prior to purchasing my new H-D motorcycle I began a search for a motorcycle jacket. At that time I wasn't quite sure what I wanted. I'd visited the local motorcycle stores and examined the merchandise. It all seemed to be good quality but was heavily adorned in corporate logos. I was looking for a jacket that was individualistic, yet stood out. I began searching the Internet. It lead me to a number of online vendors but I still didn't see what I wanted.
And then, I stumbled onto Fox Creek Leather and the Vented Bomber Jacket. I read everything they had to say, and what those who purchased had to say. When people are willing to put their picture and a statement about their purchase on the web, I believe that it says volumes about the retailer they have dealt with.
So I sent Fox Creek Leather an email requesting information on whether the jacket I wanted could be purchased in brown. They provided me with a two inch square swatch of leather material in brown. I followed up and after a couple of email with FCL they forwarded the vented bomber jacket (in black) to me in the size we had agreed on. This was a "try on" jacket that I would check for sizing and return. The ladies at FCL suggested sizing the jacket over my heated vest and a fleecy or hoodie to ensure that it would fit well given the riding conditions I would need to be prepared for. The size they recommended was a perfect fit. I can't describe how pleased I am with this jacket. The leather is supple and soft; yet strong.
The color goes all the way through so even a scratch or cut should show only brown beneath. The features of this jacket are beyond what I expected, from the vented inside front that allows for cooling in warmer weather to the built in hoodie/neck warmer. And even here in the summer in Alberta I get to wear it, especially on some of our cooler evenings. This jacket also has heft to it. But when you have it on, it's like a second skin.
Oh, and I did buy the body armour to fit in the back, shoulders and elbows.
These people know their product, how to service their customers and what the word Quality really means. Since buying the jacket I also bought an Fox Creek Leather vest!
Thank you Chippy, Melinda, Brittany and Rachel.
Not Just a Jacket

About five years ago I was needing a new riding jacket to replace my old, thin worn out leather coat that I had been using while on the bike. On the internet I came across Fox Creek Leather and after reading all the reviews on their site plus every other site that even mentioned them I decided to pull the trigger with their Vented Bomber Jacket. All these people aren't lying when they talk about the weight, the softness, or the quality of this (and all the rest of Fox Creek Leather garments).
I've worn this jacket for almost five years thru several States in all kinds of weather from thirty degree cold to ninety degree heat, to heavy summer downpours with no complaints whatsoever. When the jacket was wet I was dry, when it was cold I was warm. I don't have the words to express how happy I am with this jacket.
Now on another note, last October while in Pennsylvania I was struck from behind while making a left hand turn and was thrown about twenty feet landing on my right shoulder. No injury whatsoever. Small scuff on jacket that disappeared with a little Doc Bailey's and Montana Pitch Blend. Then, two weeks ago a minivan pulled out right in front of me. I was doing about fifty five when I hit her. After sliding about 100 feet, I got up and walked away. Leg and back pain to be sure, but I walked away from it. Two accidents within six months, one bike totaled and a brand new Ultra Classic with $6500 in damage but no bones broke, no blood shed.
Was it all because of Fox Creek Leather jacket and gloves? No but they surely were a big factor. This jacket was scuffed pretty bad so I am getting another. And yes, it is a Fox Creek Leather jacket to be sure!

I purchased this jacket back in the summer of 2012. I have been riding to work , which is 80 miles round trip. This is as good as advertised. Keeps me warm and dry. I teach at an Intermediate school, my students love the jacket too! Ha ha! The best thing about the jacket is "Made in USA"!

Last week I received the Vented Bomber Jacket straight from the USA. The parcel spent more time in the local customs office for me to pick it up, than it did to be dispatched to me from Fox Creek to Helsinki, Finland!

I have purchased many items from web stores in the past. Some of which have been a surprise, pleasant and unpleasant. All in terms of the product material, finishing, size and overall value for money. I can say that the Fox Creek Leather Vented Bomber is all it lived up to and more. The leather is of superior quality than a high quality and expensive 'fashion' leather jacket. Many friends have also commented that they were surprised it was a motorcycle jacket and intended for the road. All due to the fact of its cut, leather quality and design.
If you are looking for a jacket that ticks the GOOD LOOKING DESIGN & SAFETY ASPECT, plus the MADE IN USA stamp. I cannot recommend this jacket more to you.
Only problem is, its -12 degrees outside and the roads are full of snow. Two or three months to go before me and the jacket hit the road!
Road Tested Bomber Jacket
Posted by L.D. on Jan 28th 2012
I bought my Vented Bomber jacket 4-25-2011. I am writing this review after road testing it all riding season.
It is a heavy jacket with very high quality zippers. I measured following the directions and the fit is just the way I like it. Riding in the spring I had the vents closed and liner in and stayed warm in 45 degrees riding for 2 hours. Summer heat found all the vents open and liner removed. I could feel the air moving through the jacket which kept me cooler. After labor day the temps started to drop so I would start the day with the vents closed and open them as the temps rose. November found the liner in and all vents zipped shut, and I was warm and protected.
This is a great jacket. I would highly recommend this. I also wear the Fox Creek Leather chaps and gauntlet gloves when needed. Thanks Fox Creek Leather for a great product. I plan on visiting your store someday!
