The Men's Grayson Leather Motorcycle Jacket has a full sleeve removable insulated liner, neck warmer, dual inside pockets, extended kidney panel, and snap side adjustment. The venting system has two arm vents and two rear exit vents for optimal airflow. Dual sleeve and rear vents move the air easily through a mesh shell while an internal wind flap stops it cold at the zipper. A zip out full sleeve insulated liner completes the climate control package. Armor provisional pockets in the elbows, shoulders, and back allow you the option of using body armor with your motorcycle jacket
T-Pro Armor may not fit all shoulder pockets unless it is trimmed to fit. Elbow and back armor should fit correctly without trimming.

Good quality jacket
Posted by Unknown on Mar 15th 2017
Good quality jacket. I love the way it looks and fits. Excellent, heavy leather. The only complaint I have, is with the lining. I always take the zip out liner out of my jackets and just layer up as needed. Most of the time I'll end up with only a t-shirt on. The lining of this jacket is scratchy and uncomfortable. The synthetic fabric used for the pockets to hold padding, if you want it, are particularly uncomfortable. Hopefully sweating and general wear will reduce this feeling.

It's clearly a well-made garment, and I understand that animal leather is not a synthetic, homogenous element, but this jacket has many creased, wrinkly panels compared to my older less expensive leather jackets. I've had a Harley FatBoy jacket, and a Vanson, and both of those are smoother, more supple leather, without the creased panels.
I've applied two full containers of Pitchblend into this jacket so far (which must have absorbed in, as the jacket is noticeably heavier) and it keeps absorbing it, as if the leather is dry. I tried heating/liquifying the Pitchblend before applying it, and that seemed to make it a little better, and have since been brushing it in with a new Kiwi shoebrush, but the creased, "scrotumy" look still persists.
Will the jacket become less "nutsacky" over wear and repeated Pitchblend applications? I'm afraid I've applied enough Pitchblend to it and worn it that it's no longer "as new".
It's not a deal-killer, but I can't leave a good review because of this. Hopefully wear & more Pitchblend applications will smooth it out and make it look as nice as the jacket pictured on their website.
[Store response: Fox Creek Leather uses all parts of the cowhide and some of it shows wider grain than the other. That's often the belly part of the cow. We try to use it in inconspicuous places when possible. We do not do anything to alter the grain of the leather. No amount of oil or conditioning will change the grain of the leather. We have a 30 day returns policy in which you can exchange your unused garment in new condition if you have any issues with the fit or if you do not like the leather.]
A Worthwhile Investment

I recently purchased a custom Grayson jacket. After doing quite a bit of research about available options, I called and spoke to the wonderful ladies on the phone. They could not have been more helpful. After trying on the size they recommended, I called back to ask to try the next size larger. It was way too big and only confirmed that they were 100% correct on size based on the measurements I originally provided. They were great to work with and nailed my customizations to a T. The extra pockets added and belly pockets removed look great and are a perfect match to a jacket I had many years and many pounds ago. Adding custom snaps and zippers made this jacket 100% unique and one that I have received many compliments on. But the best part of this jacket is that it fits me like a glove. The leather is supple and a good weight. The quality of the leather is exemplary. I could not have got a more perfect fitting jacket if they sewed it directly onto my body. I would 100%, without a doubt recommend Fox Creek not only because of the quality of the product that they produce, but at the price with which is it made, the ease of ordering it, and the fact that it is made here in the United States.
One Sweet Jacket!

Just received this beauty at the end of Dec 2016, so I haven't owned it long. However, right out of the box I knew it was money well spent. The leather quality is nice, really nice. My wife, who owns 10 high quality leather jackets from various manufacturers other than Fox Creek jackets is now jealous. Having been a seamstress she went over every stitch trying to find a flaw . Jealousy turn to envy. I have a feeling she will be adding to her collection. Give me a few more months and I will add to this review. As for now, I'm very satisfied and I love the smell.
Classic leather jacket

I've had my Grayson for about a month now. I wear it every day and it has broken in wonderfully. The removable neck liner is such a nice detail touch. I ride year round in NC and this jacket keeps me warm. We've had a couple of warmer days and the ventilation is perfect.
I work at a motorcycle shop that sells Vanson and Roland Sands leather jackets (around 25% more expensive than Fox Creek). The Grayson is heavier than anything we carry. The nice touch is Fox Creek doesn't put their logo all over the jacket like the stuff I sell in the store. In fact, my manager was salty because a couple of our regulars asked where I got my jacket. No regrets. I would buy this jacket all over again.
Superior Quality & Service

Our Grayson jacket was shipped the same day we ordered it. When it arrived we immediately noted the superior quality of the leather, stitching and hardware. Prior to placing our order, we telephoned the Fox Creek customer service and had a pleasant experience. The representative was helpful in selecting the perfect size jacket based on some key information we provided. She nailed it! We gave the product 4 stars instead of 5 because we found the neck band to be a little slimmer in width than we would have preferred and quite snug. We'll be contacting FC to see if we can get a snap-on extender tab.

Let's see! American owned, American made with American products, American customer service (which due to MY mistake I used). This jacket is a beast plain and simple. I chose this one because of the added outside pocket. The arm vents are placed perfectly where they vent straight out the back vents. Inside left snap pocket has a large heavy duty elastic piece in bottom of pocket sewn to leather that fits a special tool I carry as well with the initials SIG P938, guess your cell phone would work too if you want. Looking for a solid riding jacket with the added perks above then this is it. You won't find a jacket as good anywhere close to this price either at your dealerships and they WON'T BE MADE IN AMERICA!!

Built like a Medieval Suit of Amor
Posted by John Sachs on Nov 21st 2016
Upon receiving my Grayson jacket I was struck by how nicely made the jacket was; not a stich out of place, and also the sheer weight of the piece. This is a heavy duty piece of rider equipment that I have no doubt will give me the best protection in a crash. I also opted for the Forcefield Amor for the back, shoulders, and elbows. The amor fits easily into the linning of the jacket. My only complaint is the elbow protection is a bit awkward and uncomfortable for me so I removed it and have opted to simply go with back and shoulder protection.
Fox Creek service is first rate. They keep you informed on the status of your order and shipping details so you know exactly when the item will arrive. I sent my jacket back to have some additional snaps put on the waste and Fox Creek did not ask any questions and handled the change free of charge for me. It has been a pleasure doing business with Fox Creek.
SPOT ON AND GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE

I have been looking at the Grayson jacket for a while, and I finally pulled the trigger and ordered one. I had called and emailed a few days before I ordered because I had a question on sizing because I was going to add the armor in. The lady (who's name I forgot) answered all of my questions and I ordered the size 38.
The jacket first of all, is made with the best of quality and the leather was perfect. The lining unzips with perfection and I put the armor in. When I put it all on, the fit was spot on. I can't wait for the leather to break in and get a patina. This investment in the Grayson jacket, will put a smile on my face for many miles.

I've had my Grayson for about 9 months now. I wore it in 45 degree weather doing 40-50 with a t-shirt and thin sweatshirt under....no worries!!!! The liner and neck warmer that come with help keep you warm while the soft, thick leather keeps the cold out.
I sent mine back to Fox Creek Leather to have the snaps changed to FCL black snaps. The antique brass zipper gives it that "vintage" look. The venting system is great for summer expressway riding...airflow, plus protection!!! I wear this jacket quite a bit, on and off the bike, because of its versatility. This is my personal favorite!!
