I ordered two of these bags and was very impressed with the quality for the money. I don`t believe you can find a better bag for the money. You will be satisfied.

Broke it but still excellent for price., 2005-04-03

I purchased this bag, for a (brrr, March) Dallas to Kansas to Cal to Seattle ride, at Fox Creek Leather because of their reputation. The amount of value received for $99.00 was amazing, even though I managed to break a cinch for the bottom sissy bar strap--it was half-dark out and I was half asleep, really yanking, and overstressed it. Still, with two remaining upper straps I had no problem keeping bag secure to the short Honda Shadow Spirit stock sissy bar. Overall, bag was wonderful, I will have the inexpensive repair done locally, and still figure I got a real deal. Tons of room when expanded, four convenient zippered outer pockets, neat removable bedroll bag, and wow, was it a comfy backrest--like an overstuffed chair--when turned to the front of the sissy bar. This allowed me to pull repeat days over 500 miles per day, including one 850-er, and I've had back surgery. Also, bag kept stuff dry during two heavy but-less-than-half-hour rain squalls even though I didn't use the rain cover (OK, so I was in a hurry that day). Great multi-use leather bag for $99, and I look forward to using it as a backpack, with the included extra straps, when I start scooting to school in the fall.

Simply the best T- bag ever!!, 2007-06-21

I bought 2 bags for x-mas, for the misses & myself. could hardly wait to use them. But when we did let me tell you, I don't know how she can pack so much into those bags, clothes, a small tent, air mattress. No more rubber cords. They rode so well on back, never had to redo the straps ever. And the price was so good, my riding buddy bought one the next week. He thought I was kidding him when I told him the price. This bag is made really strong, and packs a large load with NO problem. You'd be a fool to pass up a deal like this brother...

Many Miles, 2006-10-15

I have owned and used one these bags for a couple of years now, I rode coast to coast twice in that time and numerous shorter trips. This is a really good bag, one of the things I like is the external pockets which make it very easy to access the stuff I need on the road all the time (sunscreen, camera, etc).I don't stack the top bag on the pack rather I stand it up vertically behind the backrest sandwiching the backrest, that leaves the top straps of the pack to secure my leathers. its well worth the price, the plastic buckles have broken but are easy to find and replace, and I have torn one of the straps off and had it repaired with no problems and it still works great. I use the small bag almost daily to carry rain gear, groceries, tools or what ever.
