Our customers hounded us into resurrecting our Leather Overpants so here is the improved version. For maximum protection, comfort and warmth leather overpants are the way to go. Overpants go off and on as quickly as chaps, look and feel better and there are certain key components of your anatomy that are not sacrificed to the heartless objectivity of asphalt. Our Leather Overpants have nice deep front and rear pockets so you don't have to unzip or unbuckle to get what you need. Try them. You will never go back to chaps.
Our Leather Overpants come in two lengths: Regular and Long. Your outseam measurement determines which length you will receive. You may have to trim your overpants slightly to get the exact length you want. Longs are a special order.
Made in USA - Lifetime Guarantee
Our lifetime guarantee covers the workmanship and materials on all of our American made chaps, jackets, vests and pants as long as they are owned by the original purchaser. This includes any problem with snaps, zippers, seams and grommets that arise due to normal use of the garment.

I finally decided to order the leather overpants after debating over chaps or the pants. While the days are warm here in D.C., the mornings can be quite chilly so the extra protection provided by the pants is preferred, at least for now.
I already knew the quality of Fox Leather as I have a bomber jacket I got a couple of years ago. Even so, I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and workmanship of the pants, not to mention the soft supple leather.
Like the jacket I had already bought, the heft of the garment was really surprising. The fit was superior and the recommended two inches above my normal waist size was a perfect fit to go over my dress pants. I would have liked to have had, and this is the almost perfect part, one more snap along the bottom of the legs. It wasn’t necessary for me to cut or trim the length on the pants and the lack of a fourth snap makes me think of cowboy chaps or “Gumby” legs when I walk. That’s my only suggestion that I would have for any addition to the design. I’m sold on any product that Fox Creek Leather sells. I have a jacket, gloves, pants and even a belt because I bought one from a discount store and the buckle broke after wearing it twice.
Thanks Guys, I really appreciate your commitment to a quality product, service and guarantee of satisfaction.

Have a pair of the Fox Creek Leather overpants that get me through late autumn to early spring and a very well fitted vest.
Exceptional quality, unsurpassed customer service, lifetime warranty, and made in the U.S.A....
When my Hein Gerik jacket wears out,or needs replaced, Fox Creek Leather will get my business.
The Fox Creek Leather belts and gloves hold up to constant wear like nothing I've experienced prior or since.
From my experience, one just can't do better than Fox Creek Leather.
These pants are awesome!!

I'm new to motorcycling, and one reason for getting into it is to save a little gas by commuting to work. I wear dress pants at work, so I looked at various overpants, both textile and leather, that would be easy to get in and out of, keep my dress pants clean, and offer some warmth and protection. I prefer leather, but I was a little wary of how they might fit, how stiff they would be, and so on. Before I could buy pants this spring, my wife got me a pair of Fox Creek's leather overpants as a Valentine's gift. I wear a size 34 pant, and my wife bought the overpants in a size 36. They fit perfectly! I couldn't believe how soft the leather is, even though it is thick. These pants are very comfortable, and it easy to move in them. The zippers are solid, and operate smoothly. The full-length side zippers make it so easy to put these on over my dress pants or my jeans, it just takes a minute and you're ready to go. I've been wearing my overpants every time I've been out this spring here in Minnesota, and they keep me warm on the cool mornings (40's). They were comfortable on the one warm day (upper 80's) we've had this year, too! I absolutely love my leather overpants, I wouldn't trade them for anything!
Comfort and Quality

I bought mine last year. Just like everything I have bought from Fox Creek, the quality is outstanding. At first I only wore them when the weather was cold, but they are so comfortable, after that short break in period, that now I wear them year round. I have had people ask me "aren't those hot in this weather?" but really they're not.

The pockets are great..deep enough for everything that you need. If you wear half finger gloves in the warm weather, you can get your stuff out of the pockets without removing your gloves. With those full length zippers in the legs, the pants go on and come off in a breeze. I won't ever wear chaps again.
Thanks Fox Creek for another great piece!
"simply the best"

Simply the best! When you are on the road you are sometimes drowned by rain, dirt or insects in the summertime, - and back home you just use a little warm water on a sponge and clean your leather clothes - if you use jeans or other regular bike-clothes there is a washing machine job or chemical cleaning at a special store.
The most important thing for me, is the good quality the overpants have, - which I bought some months ago.
I really like the side zippers - very smart and convenient at a road stop when you are stopping for a break.
We also have good quality motorcycle leather here in Norway, but I bought from Fox Creek because of the price - even if I had to pay the shipping and also 25% in import tax - it was still cheaper, - but I purchased mainly because of the high quality.

I've had these overpants for several years now and they still look reasonably new based on comments received.
They are very comfortable in both the warmer months and have made for enjoyable winter rides. I postpone riding as the weather dips below 30 degrees, these overpants have kept me warm on wintry interstate rides.
Until lately, these pants have been great to wear. Since my waistline expanded from the original size 38 to it's current proportion, I am faced with the retiring this incredibly comfortable, extremely well made garment,to purchase a larger size.
Thank you Fox Creek for the utmost quality leather, and craftsmanship that is equally complimented by the sturdy zippers and snap hardware.
WOW!! Very Very Nice!!

If you are looking for quality leather and craftsmanship then look no further. You could if you want, but you won't find better, I assure you. I've bought several leather jackets, chaps and pants over the years, and nobody compares to what you'll find at Fox Creek Leather. I am very happy with my purchase, the fit, the feel and the look. Their leather may cost more than what you'll find in bike shops, ect. but you get what you pay for and that definitely rings true with these great people. Thank you Fox Creek!!! I truly am impressed.
Two strikes, then a home run!

I purchased a competitive pair of overpants last year as you had discontinued yours at that time. Wore them 5 or 6 times and the front zipper broke, then the belt loop broke from the waist. The mfg did not have any guarantee so it was my problem. I received a pair for Christmas last year from my wife and the first time I put them on the side snap came off, then the belt loop broke, the leather was thin and patchy looking, too shiny, etc.
Finally you started making the overpants again and I received mine about two weeks ago - what a difference! Quality thick leather, tough belt loops, zipper actually works and no problem with the snaps. Believe me I will only purchase Fox Creek apparel in the future.
I already have your leather racing jacket, the cordura jacket, the leather vest, the leather chaps, two pair of gloves, a belt, the leather neck piece and now the overpants. I am a walking advertisement for Fox Creek Leather.
Thank you for your great service and top quality merchandise.
My Sole Riding Suit
Posted by Brian on Apr 11th 2006
I bought your Leather Overpants together with your Perforated Leather Jacket last March and they have been my sole riding suit for the past year. At first, I was concerned that the pants would be hot in the summer since they aren't perforated or vented in any way. After experiencing a San Diego summer and what we call winter, I am pleased to report that they were not hot at 100+ degrees (while moving) and they worked fine on cold days. Having these perforated by Fox Creek would have ruined them for colder riding and been a waste of money. Thank you for that advice, Fox Creek!
great leather, great service

I bought a pair of Fox Creek leather overpants about a year ago, and they seem thicker than most other stuff I've seen. Quality of seams and hardware is good. I use them every weekday to and from work (about 30 minutes each) and aside from cleaning bugs off occasionally (with paper towel and water), they have been very good to me.
The overpants go over your jeans (duh) and quite easily if you ask me, thanks to full length zippers x 2. The front and back pockets are big enough for your hands as long as you don't have huge gloves on. They don't let you access the pockets on your inner pants, so make sure you put your coins and keys in the overpant pocket before you put them on.
When you cut off the hem, though, make sure you re-tighten the stitches. They were good, but when you cut, you mess 'em up a bit.
One thing that wasn't perfect was the size. First, I told them my waist size, was recommended a large, ordered the large, received the large, and just couldn't get into them. I ended up getting an XXL, which is now actually bigger than what I would like (probably XL is a perfect fit). However, I had a feeling that I might be still "growing" so I kept it. (I have been steadily growing for the last 3 years ever since my wife started cooking!)
Still, their customer service lady was super nice. When I said it was too small, she just told me how to return it instead of giving me a hard time. And we all know that customer service (when things go wrong) is what differentiates a good Web store from a mediocre one!
So, if you are thinking buying from Fox Creek, by all means go ahead. Just make sure you know your size! -- SuperSy
