Our Leather Half Chaps are crafted in Grayson County, Virginia from full grain cowhide leather. They zip down the back of the leg with an Antique Brass #10 YKK zipper. They are secured around the top and bottom of the leg by adjustable snaps. Double leather surrounds the knee for protection.
The basic pair is made from 1.4-1.6mm black cowhide leather.
To measure, you should be wearing jeans and riding boots. Measure around your leg below the bend of the knee. Measure around your calf about 7" down from the bend of the knee. Measure your ankle with your boots on. Here is a link to our size chart.
