The leather is soft and pliable, snaps hold well, fittment chart was spot on. Will never go back to traditional chaps. These don't inhibit acces to my pockets and don't pull on me when seated and the are easier to remove and store in my saddle bags than traditional chaps. I bought these and a best after purchasing a jacket because I was impressed with quality. As far as I am concerned, yes every item fox creek does is pricey but the quality of American Made products designed and made by people who actually ride and understand saddle time is worth every penny. Everything I have should last my lifetime and be able to handed down for continued use.

I've ordered a few pairs of chaps from Fox Creek Leather and these are, in my opinion, the best. The leather, as always, is top notch...thick and supple. But what make them great is the "beltless" part. You have the protection of chaps without the "bulk" of another belt around you. This is especially helpful when you have a jacket on. They are also a little easier to put in saddlebags when not being used.
They are a little different than putting on traditional chaps. You slip your foot through the opening at the top, secure to belt and zip and snap 'em up. Just that simple. And now they offer them with more leather/snap options! The only thing things that would make them better would be a zipper option and adding a wind/rain guard over the zippers. These still get an A+ for fit and quality!!! Excellent chaps!!

Got my chaps on Thursday & rode 45 miles on Saturday morning to get my leather man to cut off a little extra from the bottom. Temperature was about 42 degrees. Chaps felt good. Never liked wearing chaps, 2 belts just did not feel good. These chaps hooked up to my Fox Creek Leather belt were comfortable as not having them on. The quality & service is like all our Fox Creek Leather stuff. (2 jackets, 3 vests, 1 womens chaps, and 3 pair gloves) Love the beltless chaps!
These Chaps are the best!

I bought these beltless chaps last year and can honestly say they are 1st class in terms of the workmanship and overall quality. They are made in America, which is important to me when buying products.
I live in the north east and when the temperature drops to the mid 50's I put these chaps on and they keep me warm, and make my ride very comfortable. I don't think you can find a better pair of chaps for the money!

Like my jacket, vest, and gloves, I was just as impressed with my beltless chaps. I took them for a test ride shortly after they arrived. The fit was perfect. Just the right tightness over my jeans and boots that still left room to move freely. They are heavy enough to know you'll be protected, but not so much to pull down on your belt.
The ride started with a temperature of 38 degrees and topped out at 72 and I was comfortable the entire time. The pockets are a nice size such that you can put anything from a key to a wallet and cell phone in them.
