We bought a pair for my wife and I at Christmas and they are excellent gloves. Ever heavier than I expected and very warm while riding.
Excellent US made gloves!

I have been riding with these gloves for a few years now. Hands down the best I have ever owned. If they ever wear out, I will buy more.
Tough, Supple and Comfortable

These are very high quality gloves. They are thick and very well designed. The seams are positioned in the right places for riding gloves. I would definitely buy them again.
Happy camper thanks to the FCL's elk skin gloves!

These gloves simply outclass, out-perform, out-wear, out-protect, and comfortably beat gloves costing 5 times as much. Don't even think about it; you won't find a better riding glove anywhere!

These gloves are fantastic.
I have been looking for riding gloves like these for years.
They are thick and tough. Just what I want on my hands should I ever go down.
Very Solid Gloves

To begin with, I don't have a motorcycle, but for an occupation I deliver sandwiches on a bicycle on the side as I focus on my music career. I live in Colorado and it is early January - that means varying temperatures of 10-45 degrees F. You start to notice your hands are beginning to get cold at around 15-20. I like to throw in some glove liners at this point or even just a smaller pair of fabric gloves of some kind. That will get you hands that are not quite warm but manageable at about 10 degrees. I go about 15 mph on the bike. I would recommend the elk lined gauntlets to anyone who is worried about the cold. These elk riding gloves are warm to a point. Other than that, they are the most comfortable gloves I've ever tried on. Everytime I wear them they break in a little more and get even better. I can easily zip up my jacket, unlock my bike and feel the brake levers with these gloves on. durable but you can still feel things!
Quality Does Matter

Great gloves, I don't think i could have gotten better at any price. Yes they do seem snug when you first put them on , but with use they become as close to perfect as anyone can expect. I have 3 other pair of leather gloves, but i'm so happy with these , i will probably order a second pair to use as driving gloves and keep them in the car.
Great riding gloves!

I live in a mountain area where the temp's change a lot. My hands stay comfortable in any climate. Gloves get better and better each time I wear them. A must have - Ride to live!
Elkskin Riding gloves

I really like the fit of these gloves but one of the gloves has a pin hole by the index finger and a small spot on the thumb that looks like something rub a layer off. These were not bad enough to return the gloves.
Very nice and thick skin gloves

Gloves are nice, thicker then the deerskin Mavericks I had before. The finger length is good. Problem with the Mavericks was the short thumb. If they would tske this finger length and translate it to the Maverick that would be a great combo. On these I find the pinky finger a hair too long. A tiny bit thick for super hot weather, but they shoudk last and they will wear well it seems. I wish the cuff was an inch shorter.
