The middle pocket is 10"x9" and closes with a magnet. The zippered pocket on the outside measures 7.25"x6". The strap is adjustable and you can choose which side of the bag you want it clipped to.

When I saw this bag, I knew that I had to have it. We're longterm customers, so I knew that this would be well made of quality materials. But when I got it, it was even better than I had hoped. The leather is perfect (of course), and the zippers and snaps are rugged. It holds all of my normal things, plus there's room for those extras that I always seem to need. If you're looking for an evening bag, this is not it! But if you're looking for a rugged long-lasting hold-all, this is definitely the one.

DH got me this for my birthday and it is divine. Excellent construction. The leather is like buttah, and the brass hardware gives it a vintage vibe without being too flashy. It’s also roomy enough for my 12” laptop but you’ll want a sleeve for your device because no padding in this bag. I’ve been carrying a smaller tactical sling backpack for years but this is much sleeker and not so aggressively urban commando. This bag’s suppleness is, ironically, the source of its one weakness: when you put larger items into the main compartment, they all fall to the bottom and stretch the two front smaller pockets so it becomes difficult to get anything in or out. Some method of fastening objects to the inside back of the pack would avoid this and distribute the weight better. I also added an auxiliary strap with a carabiner from the bag’s offside connecting ring to the buckle across the chest strap, so the bag wouldn’t fall around to the front while I was bent over on my bicycle. I shall be modifying this to suit my needs but it is such a lovely work of art that it’s worth the effort.
