Just wanted to say how pleased we are with the Sportster Saddlebags. They're the perfect addition to my 2011 Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom -- I love them! My husband and I had a little trouble mounting the Easy Brackets on the bike until we realized that we needed to place a couple of washers between the rear docking post and the fender rail. The forward docking post has the passenger seat grab strap secured between it and the fender rail, and the washers we added to the rear docking post brought it out the same distance from the fender rail as the forward docking post and then the bracket went right on the docking posts.
