Last fall I ordered a pair of custom chaps and used them many times in the Minnesota weather. Recently, four of us made a 3000 mile trip through Kansas to Colorado, up the mountains to Yellowstone and back through the Black Hills. It was beautiful. All three of the other guys had chaps with exposed silver zippers and they all failed. They were holding them on with bungee cords, bandannas, and Velcro straps by the end of the trip. Mine performed flawlessly. When you need them, the quality had better be there, and yours was. When leaving Jackson Hole at 38 degrees, they would have happily paid another $30-$40 for chaps that would stay together. Thanks for making a great product. When they wear out, I'll order another pair.

Since Colorado Jeff mentioned his new jacket, I thought I'd do the same. A while ago, I asked the list if anyone had any experience with Fox Creek Leather products. A few people responded positively, nobody negatively. I finally got around to ordering a jacket, and it arrived last week. I have to tell you, IT IS AWESOME! The weight, thickness of leather, and quality of workmanship and detail look to me to be about the same level as Vanson, but at about 1/2 the price.
The jacket I got is a classic biker style jacket. It has both a removable thermal liner and zippered vents, front and back, to make it extremely versatile. It is similar to, but seems to be of higher quality than, the H-D El Camino jacket, at about $100 less than the H-D. You can get their products in a wide variety of colors and finishes. I got basic black. A nice plus is that it is made right here in the good old US of A. And at about $300, it is a bargain and better quality than I have seen at just about any price. Also, customer service and responsiveness are excellent.
Of course, how it holds up over time will be the real test, but right now it looks like a definite winner. No affiliation, yadda yadda yadda.
Take care, and stay vertical,

Brothers and Sisters, when we find something good hopefully we will share the wealth with others. I've had leathers (jacket and chaps) tailor made in Korea where I selected the leather and inspected for quality prior to purchase. I thought that they were the best available for the price anywhere. Was I in for a surprise!
I'm here to tell you that I have found a place that has exceeded all my expectations for quality and customer service. Hang in here it gets better! They are actually "American Made"!! Are you sitting down? They are "guaranteed for life"!
I have no vested interest only want to share my good fortune with all Bikers far and wide! My jacket and chaps had to be custom ordered and I am extremely pleased with my jacket. The chaps are on backorder because Lisa went the extra mile to ensure a proper fit.
Thanks Fox Creek. You have exceeded my expectations!!

After months of searching for the right saddlebags I decided on the large straight saddlebags from Fox Creek Leather. I have been working with materials for 18 years in the Air Force and haven't seen better quality leather. It is made of top-notch material and workmanship. This grade of leather is rarely seen on saddlebags in this price range. They have held up wonderfully and I would recommend them to anyone interested in good quality saddlebags. Those guys done their homework when they designed these bags. I have been riding over 15 years and I am thoroughly impressed. The shipping was fast and trouble free.

My order for a dual vented racing jacket and two piece chaps arrived today. I was amazed at the quality of your product. I wanted them primarily for protection, and when I picked up the jacket, I knew I had purchased a whole lot of leather. My satisfaction began with the person who took my order. I realized immediately I was dealing with a class act. He was not just an order taker, but knew exactly what to ask in order to insure a good fit. And it is a good fit. Thank you very much.
Sincerely,

I recently purchased one of the Dual Vented Racing Jackets. I've been riding with it regularly and I love this leather jacket . The quality of the leather is outstanding and workmanship is great. I had reservations about buying a leather jacket over the web, but Fox Creek put those fears to rest. Great company, good price and the best leather I've seen in any motorcycle jacket.

Bought my first jacket from Paul in 1996 out of the back of his trailer in Greenville, SC. After 2 years, and 20,000 miles it was lost, so I got another one just like it. The second one was even better. Who knows how many miles I've put on this one. I've ridden in all kinds of weather. In one day I rode to the top of Mt. Washington, NH in a snow storm, then through a thunderstorm, and on to Laconia. It kept me warm and reasonably dry through the whole trip. I've even worn it when it got up to 90 degrees, with the air vents open it was comfortable. Best leather ever owned, wouldn't wear any other.

I've had my Vented Racing Jacket for 1 year now and couldn't be happier! The leather is top quality and the fit is perfect. The vents are well placed and allow enough air flow to keep me cool in the heat of summer (sans lining, of course!) but the jacket is still heavy enough to keep me plenty warm on the occasional winter ride.
As impressive as the jacket is, what impressed me most was the service I received from Fox Creek. I was uneasy about ordering a jacket sight-unseen so they actually mailed me a jacket to try on so I could get the size right! When I got the test jacket in the mail (a black one) I was very tempted to just keep it as the size was perfect but I really wanted the two-tone one. I'm glad I waited as I've received numerous compliments on its looks.
Barring an accident this will probably be the last jacket I ever buy. I certainly can't imagine that it would ever wear out. My wife is getting her jacket from Fox Creek too.

Been off and on motorcycles since '67. Don't know which has gone to hell faster, the bikes or most of the 'items' for 'the serious biker'. Bikes look more like a chest-of-drawers with a motor and clothing is more at home in a Volvo then in the wind. What this is leading up to is the chaps you sent me. They are perfect. Fit, material, craftsmanship everything about them is perfect. Sorry for the delay in letting you know this, but I have worn them for over a month just to see if they fell apart like wet tissue paper, which is the results you get from most items for the 'serious biker'. Great work, your product is made for serious riding!
