lined gauntlets 2007-10-16

I already had a pair of the regular lined gauntlets from Fox Creek, but they kept my hands warm on my half-hour drive to work only down to about 45F. I bought these deluxe, fleece-lined ones a size larger and wear a pair of silk/wool blend glove liners when it gets below 45F. Today, it was 36F when I left the house. By the end of the half-hour, my fingers were getting cold, but bearably so. My windshield doesn't cover my hands, so they take the full effect of the cold wind. These deluxe gauntlets have given me another 10 degrees to ride with. The quality is great, too.

Great glove 2009-01-15

I reluctantly ordered a pair of these gloves being as I have been unable to find a good pair of cold weather riding gloves that left any "feel". I am extremely pleased to say that these are by far the best gloves I have ever owned. Soft and flexible, yet warm and still have plenty of "feel". Even at slightly warmer temps "50's" they are not hot. They seem to adjust to the temperature of the air to keep my hands comfortable. Thank you Fox Creek, I will never ride with anything less than your deerskin on my hands. Well worth the money. These are truly the best gloves that have ever wrapped my hands and very prompt shipping as well. I also ordered "the belt" with these. Another great quality and value product even at twice the price.

These gloves are very good in weather down to about 38 degrees. Below that, I wear tanker nomax gloves as liners and they work fine.

Couldn't Be Happier 2008-11-09

I purchased these gloves several weeks ago when the weather started to turn cooler. My only regret is that I didn't order them sooner! They were shipped super fast and were better than expected when I got them. The fleece keeps my hands toasty in the lower 30's and upper 20's. I'd imagine that they could go colder and my hands would be fine, so far they haven't even been chilled. The fit is excellent. The quality of these gloves is impressive and I'm a very picky person. They are thick and yet still as soft as everyone claims they are. I can easily manipulate all of the controls with them on. I am extremely impressed with these gloves and will highly recommend them to my friends. I see a jacket and chaps coming soon in my future as well... Thank you for everything Fox Creek Leather!

Deluxe Lined Deerskin Gloves 2007-12-26

I've owned these beautiful gloves for probably a little over a month. Prior to purchasing them I read the available reviews on these gloves. I decided to give them a thorough testing before submitting my own review. I accidentally ordered a size too small on my first attempt and Melinda @ Fox Creek made my exchange so painless. Upon receiving my new gloves I was very excited. They looked great, smelled great, felt great. Day 1: My first morning wearing these gloves the temperature was 31 degrees F. My trip was to school which takes about a half an hour. I loved the gauntlets which kept the wind from running up my jacket sleeves. I could still handle the controls quite well, brakes, throttle, signals. My hands were cold when I got to school but not near as cold as they were when I would ride with my summer bike gloves under some work gloves. I figured as much since hey it's below freezing and I'm on a motorcycle. Day 2 : Temperature 28 degrees F. The next day I decided to wear my summer perforated gloves under my new gauntlets. I had plenty of room for them under the gauntlets. Loss of sensation for controls was negligible. I arrived at school after my half hour ride and my hands were not even cold. I was very pleased to say the least. I have pretty much been wearing these gloves on any cold day with my under gloves. Two days before Christmas I went on an hour and a half journey to see family. The temperature was in the upper forties and I did not think once about my hands or gloves. They were perfectly warm. I am trying not to get into all the "heated" wired gloves and gear. These gloves rock. I am going to get some decent liners for underneath them and maybe I will be able to take off both sets off gloves at once!
