Great Quailty!! GREAT Price!!! 2005-10-31

Today as I started my bike in this little corner of South Carolina it was 36 degrees...aaah, a great day for a ride. I bought my Lined Deerskin Gauntlets last Wednesday and received them in the mail on Saturday. FAST and FREE. What a value. They are solidly constructed and fit, well, like a glove. Now, I've already had my digits exposed to extreme temps many times to the point of injury so they are very sensitive to cold. Let me say that the 12 mile ride to work was not an issue. Even at 60 mph, and without any windshield or heated grips my fingers came out ready to hit that old desk job. They were cool, but not cold or in pain. I couldn't have asked for a better pair of gloves especially for $39, all in, and made in the USA to boot!! You have a customer for life and I will tell all my riding buddies about you.
Sincerely,
EL

Wouldnt Call Them Winter Gloves 2007-04-19

I looked REALLY long and hard for a set of Gauntlet winter gloves. Granted, my hands get colder than most people I know so take that into consideration, after searching long and hard and reading reviews here I FINALLY ordered a set of these. Can't beat the price, and these are the softest gloves I think I have ever felt. Really gorgeous. I live in Greenville South Carolina and Italy both. I ride extensively in each place. For me these gloves are a Spring and Fall glove. Under 45 they just didn't do it for me. As spring has come I have found them perfect and expect the same in the fall, I would NOT rate these for winter though. On a 34 degree day they just didn't do the job. At all. Perhaps bumping up to a better insulation would help. Thinsulate even at 100 grams really isn't that great. Other than that, great leather great quality.

Lined Deerskin Gauntlets 2005-02-18

I bought these gloves a few months ago and have used them this winter. I have ridden in 25 F weather on numerous occasions. While my fingers do not stay as warm as toast, they remain cool but not cold. The gloves are comfortable to wear and keep the wind out of my sleeves. I have bought a number of products from Fox Creek and all have been a good value. These gloves are no exception. Highly recommend these gloves.

I received the lined Deerskin gauntlets I ordered from you yesterday. I gave them a test ride this morning up in the White Mountains of northern Arizona. Temperatures were in the high 20s , low 30s all morning and your gloves were as warm as toast through-out the entire 120 mile trip. They are made well, fit great, and priced right. I will highly recommend your leather company to all I know. Thank You for a very good product. I'm just sorry I didn't know about you before I spent almost $400. for a leather jacket from somebody else !!

Best Gift 2007-01-30

I received these gloves back in March of 2006. I thought I would wait and get some riding time in with these gloves prior to reviewing them.
I have been riding every single day to work. This mornings temperature was down to 24 degrees while riding to work. These gloves are not quite heavy enough for that extreme of a low temp without a quality glove liner. But any temperature between 35 degrees F to even as high as 60 degrees F, these gloves are the most comfortable I have ever worn. I would not trade these for any glove on the market. They are soft and easy to get on and off. No issues feeling or handling the bike controls. You will not be disappointed purchasing these gloves.

Lined Deerskin Gauntlets 2008-01-28

These gloves are great! Outstanding quality, craftsmanship and true function in cold weather. These take the bite out of winter weather riding. The fit is great and they're soft and pliable from the get-go. Kudos again to Fox Creek for a superior product for the bike riders who don't typically garage their bikes when the weather turns cold.

Gauntlets... 2007-03-15
by from Kobe, Japan

These are a really good pair of cold-weather gauntlets. They incorporate 'Thinsulate' which is a really good moniker for a product. I have found no problem with 'feel' using these gauntlets over the last two months of the Japanese winter. Last winter I was using a hefty UK-made pair of gauntlets--which were thick and warm but had no 'feel'. Fingers like sausages--one finger braking was a joke... They also claimed the use of 'Thinsulate' but now I think again.
Fox Creek gauntlets are superb. Warm _and_ thin so you have control. AND VERY GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY!

The "Usual" Fox Creek Quality 2008-11-22
by from Carlisle, PA

Like all of Fox Creek's products, these gloves are very nicely made. With winter gloves, two factors matter: bulk and warmth. I'd rate the bulk "good" on these, at least used without a liner. No problem working the controls. On warmth, I've found them comfortable with heated grips down to about 40F. And I use them up to about 60. From 30-40 they're OK for a short commute or errand, but not for longer rides.

Gauntlet length and comfort 2005-08-25
by from Santa Margarita, CA

Received my deerskin gauntlets in the mail yesterday, ordered them on Sat. got them on Wednesday. That alone is a great improvement in leather goods I have ordered elsewhere over the years.
The Quality is very impressive, the length of the armsleeve is exactly what I needed as I have long arms and haven't been able to find any that would cover my jacket sleeves without letting air in. These are perfect for that.
Rode a couple 100 miles yesterday to try them out. Found them to be perfect for the comfort and warmth they offer. I live near the coast and often don't wear gloves while inland as the temps change 30 - 40 degrees in a matter of a few miles. But these new ones gave me comfort both in the coastal region and while I was inland, I will be continuing with these models and telling all my friends about the quality and time of order/receiving them.
