Our customers hounded us into resurrecting our Leather Overpants so here is the improved version. For maximum protection, comfort and warmth leather overpants are the way to go. Overpants go off and on as quickly as chaps, look and feel better and there are certain key components of your anatomy that are not sacrificed to the heartless objectivity of asphalt. Our Leather Overpants have nice deep front and rear pockets so you don't have to unzip or unbuckle to get what you need. Try them. You will never go back to chaps.
Our Leather Overpants come in two lengths: Regular and Long. Your outseam measurement determines which length you will receive. You may have to trim your overpants slightly to get the exact length you want. Longs are a special order.
Fox Creek Leather Overpants come with a lifetime warranty and are made in the USA.

My Leather Overpants, 1999-03-12

I've worn leather jeans (over levi's) for years. I solved the problem of getting them on & off by having a good leather worker sew zippers in the outside seam of each leg.
My buddy looked all over Daytona for *good* chaps or jeans. Good quality chaps are easier to find than jeans, but we found a great solution at the swap meet. Fox Creek Leather Co. makes leather jeans with the zippers already sewn into the seams. They cost more than either chaps or jeans by themselves, but are about the same cost as a pair of jeans modified as mine are. The ones from Fox Creek are the best leather & workmanship I've seen in years. I may be replacing mine with a set.
Anyway, jeans with the convince of chaps are *definitely* the way to go.

If you are looking for quality leather and craftsmanship then look no further. You could if you want, but you won't find better, I assure you. I've bought several leather jackets, chaps and pants over the years, and nobody compares to what you'll find at Fox Creek Leather. I am very happy with my purchase, the fit, the feel and the look. Their leather may cost more than what you'll find in bike shops, ect. but you get what you pay for and that definitely rings true with these great people. Thank you Fox Creek!!! I truly am impressed.

My Sole Riding Suit, 2006-04-12

I bought your Leather Overpants together with your Perforated Leather Jacket last March and they have been my sole riding suit for the past year. At first, I was concerned that the pants would be hot in the summer since they aren't perforated or vented in any way. After experiencing a San Diego summer and what we call winter, I am pleased to report that they were not hot at 100+ degrees (while moving) and they worked fine on cold days. Having these perforated by Fox Creek would have ruined them for colder riding and been a waste of money. Thank you for that advice, Fox Creek!

My Leather Overpants, 2002-11-11

I bought a pair of Fox Creek leather overpants about a year ago, and they seem thicker than most other stuff I've seen. Quality of seams and hardware is good. I use them every weekday to and from work (about 30 minutes each) and aside from cleaning bugs off occasionally (with paper towel and water), they have been very good to me.
The overpants go over your jeans (duh) and quite easily if you ask me, thanks to full length zippers x 2. The front and back pockets are big enough for your hands as long as you don't have huge gloves on. They don't let you access the pockets on your inner pants, so make sure you put your coins and keys in the overpant pocket before you put them on.
When you cut off the hem, though, make sure you re-tighten the stitches. They were good, but when you cut, you mess 'em up a bit.
One thing that wasn't perfect was the size. First, I told them my waist size, was recommended a large, ordered the large, received the large, and just couldn't get into them. I ended up getting an XXL, which is now actually bigger than what I would like (probably XL is a perfect fit). However, I had a feeling that I might be still "growing" so I kept it. (I have been steadily growing for the last 3 years ever since my wife started cooking!)
Still, their customer service lady was super nice. When I said it was too small, she just told me how to return it instead of giving me a hard time. And we all know that customer service (when things go wrong) is what differentiates a good Web store from a mediocre one!
So, if you are thinking buying from Fox Creek, by all means go ahead. Just make sure you know your size! -- SuperSy
