Wouldnt Call Them Winter Gloves, 2007-04-19

I looked REALLY long and hard for a set of Gauntlet winter gloves. Granted, my hands get colder than most people I know so take that into consideration, after searching long and hard and reading reviews here I FINALLY ordered a set of these. Can't beat the price, and these are the softest gloves I think I have ever felt. Really gorgeous. I live in Greenville South Carolina and Italy both. I ride extensively in each place. For me these gloves are a Spring and Fall glove. Under 45 they just didn't do it for me. As spring has come I have found them perfect and expect the same in the fall, I would NOT rate these for winter though. On a 34 degree day they just didn't do the job. At all. Perhaps bumping up to a better insulation would help. Thinsulate even at 100 grams really isn't that great. Other than that, great leather great quality.

Great Quailty!! GREAT Price!!!, 2005-10-31

Today as I started my bike in this little corner of South Carolina it was 36 degrees...aaah, a great day for a ride. I bought my Lined Deerskin Gauntlets last Wednesday and received them in the mail on Saturday. FAST and FREE. What a value. They are solidly constructed and fit, well, like a glove. Now, I've already had my digits exposed to extreme temps many times to the point of injury so they are very sensitive to cold. Let me say that the 12 mile ride to work was not an issue. Even at 60 mph, and without any windshield or heated grips my fingers came out ready to hit that old desk job. They were cool, but not cold or in pain. I couldn't have asked for a better pair of gloves especially for $39, all in, and made in the USA to boot!! You have a customer for life and I will tell all my riding buddies about you.
Sincerely,
EL

Deer Skin Gaunlet Gloves, 2009-01-23

It does not often get cold here in Florida but the past few days have seen the AM temps in the mid 20's. I received my deer skin gauntlet gloves JUST in time. WHAT A DIFFERENCE they make!! I got the lined gloves and even in the 22 degree temps my hands were comfortable while riding the motorcycle .....unlike before when I arrived at work with numb hands. Soft as butter and the fit is perfect. Thanks again for the quality product and service.

The "Usual" Fox Creek Quality, 2008-11-22

Like all of Fox Creek's products, these gloves are very nicely made. With winter gloves, two factors matter: bulk and warmth. I'd rate the bulk "good" on these, at least used without a liner. No problem working the controls. On warmth, I've found them comfortable with heated grips down to about 40F. And I use them up to about 60. From 30-40 they're OK for a short commute or errand, but not for longer rides.
