Just what I was looking for

I had a few criteria that needed to be met when shopping for this vest.
1. It had to be made in the United States
2. Zipper and snap front closure for wind protection
3. Zipper exterior pockets for secure storage
4. It had to last a lifetime
I compared other companies and ended up picking Fox Creek. The Zipper Rebel Vest meets all of these. Fitment is true to the websites description, if you follow their directions your item should fit well. I’m 6’1” and approximately 205lbs with a relatively athletic build (read I don’t have a beer gut). I opted for the 46 regular as my torso is slightly shorter than average. When off the motorcycle the longer version may look a bit better but when sitting on my bike, and given this vest is for riding that’s where I judge its fitment, it rode exactly where I wanted it. Other items I’ve had in the past bunch up around the waist while ridding because they are too long because given my long arms the larger size was needed or they wouldn’t fit. This is as close to a custom vest you can get without paying the custom price.
The only issue I had was I received the wrong item at first. I ordered the Zippered Rebel Vest but got the Rebel Vest which didn’t have a zippered front. I forget his name but when I talked to the customer service rep 2x he was extremely professional. I talked to them once to say the order was wrong and a second time to confirm the fitment was right (see discussion about on/off bike length above) I just needed the zippered version he remembered my name and the discussion we had had earlier that day. They shipped the correct vest the next day and included a free return label for me to send back the Rebel Vest. They didn’t make me wait to send back the first vest before they fixed their mistake nor did they make me pay for shipping. That shows incredible trust and ownership of a mistake which today is rare.
First class all around. I will be coming back for more.

My vest is exactly what I wanted, a clean well made vest that will last. When I opened my box I could tell immediately that it was built with quality products. When I took it to a patch lady to have patches put on she confirmed that it was even stitched very well. Thank you

Fox Creek Leather produces some, if not THE, best quality motorcycle apparel in the world! Made in the USA! Lucky for us all. Ordered around 10pm, had merchandise in my possession in less than 48hrs. Always a pleasure doing business with you Fox Creek Leather!
p.s. If you want to purchase crap leather garbage made in Pakistan (you know, the place where we had to go blow off Osama Bin Laden's head), then visit your local Harley dealer.
Typical FCL quality and feel...

I have a classic vest but the "V" neck allows too much breeze
in. I live in Florida and I don't ride when it's below about 50 degrees (I know, I've heard all the fair weather biker comments). When it's early morning and a long sleeve t-shirt isn't quite enough, this vest adds just enough warmth...until it warms up and then you unzip it half way and it never gets too hot. Oh, it also looks cool and the attention to detail and quality is second to none!
Awesome vest. Awesome Service!

This is definitely a top notch leather vest. You can tell the minute you take it out of the plastic bag and put it on. Very well made, high quality leather, and stitching. A very well made finished product, feels almost tailored made, and I have no doubt will last a long time. The higher price seems not to matter anymore once you see and feel this level of quality, thank you Fox Creek!
Best vest ever

The Only Leather I'll Ever Wear

This review will serve two Fox Creek Leather products, The Maverick Gloves and The Rebel Vest.
I'm not a casual biker. I ride every single day. I used to wear cheap gloves and a bargain leather vest from a local motorcycle chain, but while browsing Fox Creek's site, I noticed these simple leather gloves, and the Rebel vest with its nice cossack collar. I loved the look, and hoped that simple didn't equal less safe.
I was hit by an impatient driver at an intersection, which caused my cruiser to spin out from under me. The driver didn't stick around, but every single witness told me what happened. And they couldn't believe I sprang back up after the collision. My body tumbled along the road a couple of times, but nothing was broken, and my injuries were not very serious. I realized later that night that with all the gashes and scrapes on my arms, my hands were completely unscathed. I grabbed the gloves from my vest pocket and saw that, even though they'd clearly been run along the street, they were totally intact. Not a ripped seam, not even a thread out of place. My hands would have been torn up had it not been for these gloves.
When I examined my vest, despite my body being thrown from my bike and rolling along the street, the leather barely shows any damage at all. The zippers and a couple of the snaps show scrapes, but these things in no way affect the functionality. My stomach sustained some road rash near the waistline, but I can only guess at what this amazing vest prevented.
After his evaluation of my bike's damage, my mechanic was astounded that I not only walked away from this collision, but that I walked away in such good shape. Of the four major components to safe riding, Fox Creek Leather is responsible for two. If you're reading this, debating a purchase for any reason, stop debating. I know for a fact that the difference between this company and what I was wearing before is a trip to the hospital and medical bills. That peace of mind is priceless. I can't thank Fox Creek Leather enough, and my wife would love make you all dinner, if it was feasible. Thank you, Fox Creek.
I will never in my life wear any other leather gear.
