The Men's Vented Racing Jacket is our best selling leather motorcycle jacket, highly functional with simple no frills styling. It has two generous vents front and rear with a tough mesh shell to allow maximum airflow. The main zipper has an interior wind flap to eliminate air penetration. An inside snap and zippered pockets are set in the leather facing on the left and right side (respectively). Elbows and shoulders are reinforced with extra leather and the Vented Racing Jacket is cut long in the back with a padded kidney panel.
Two options are available for adjusting the sides - snaps or lacing. There are two zippered pockets on the front of the jacket and expansion joints behind the shoulders. This leather jacket has zippered sleeves and an insulated removable full sleeve liner with a hide-away fleece neck warmer. Soft, heavy full grain leather with a dull luster shows off the natural grain and compliments the antique brass hardware.
Please read How Your Motorcycle Jacket Is Supposed To Fit if you have any questions on the sizing.
Please note: Some older stock jackets do not include sleeve vents. If you desire a specific style, please contact us for availability.
*Some of our Men's Vented Racing Jackets do not have the armor pockets. Due to popular demand, we are transitioning to all Vented Racing Jackets having armor pockets, but in the meantime there are limited sizes that are available without them. If you don't want armor pockets, please let us know in the notes and we will ship as available.

I bought my vented racing jacket 8 years go this month and i am still satisfied with this jacket as I was then,it has kept me warm and reasonably dry during this time. If you're thinking about buying this jacket, do it you won't be disappointed. I have bought several pairs of gloves,"because I keep loosing them" and some leather riding pants and have not been disappointed.
Must have for any rider

I've now worn this jacket for almost 6,000 miles in the Texas summer heat. I get funny looks and comments from people saying it's too hot for a heavy leather jacket. My reply is always the same, this is the only skin and bones I will ever get and a little heat can be dealt with through good hydration.
The vents provide good airflow and the protection I feel is second to none.
The leather has begun to change color slightly and soften and I absolutely love it. I tried out the liner while early morning riding in Colorado with temps in the low 50's. Warm as toast, and the neck wrap is great!
I really don't have anything negative to say, great jacket and as the headline states a must have for any rider, in my opinion.
I LOVE my Vented Racing Jacket.

It fits beautifully and has been comfortable in all weather conditions so far - chilly mornings, very warm afternoons, fog, and light mist. My gauntlets and Maverick gloves are awesome as well. Thank you for all of the great work that you do and your fabulous creations!
"The Best"...period !!

Recently received my Vented Racing Jacket and I really just could not be more pleased with the quality, comfort, and look of this jacket. We have already had some chilly mornings here in Maine, but my 50 mile commute to work has been much more comfortable in this jacket. The rides home in the afternoon, in temps up to 90 degrees, have also been comfortable thanks to the excellent venting. I was honestly shocked at how well it vents - exceptional design and placement of the zips. The quality of the leather is impressive. I've read the other reviews and the stories resulting from accidents... I have no doubt that the construction of Fox Creek jackets were, in deed, responsible for the riders' reduced injuries. I also own FC gauntlets and gloves and they are also of the highest quality - comfortable and true fitting. Speed of service and delivery of my orders has also been impressive!

After 1200 miles wearing this jacket and fox creek deer skin gloves I can give a much better review. I am thoroughly impressed and pleased with my purchase.
Fox Creek offers the finest quality riding gear period. I've had several people say how nice the jacket is and when they feel the weight and see it up close all have been impressed with the quality and workmanship. The jacket offers very good ventilation even at 100 degrees. I am a believer in All The Gear All The Time and this jacket gives me confidence that if I do come off my bike I'll be as protected as I possibly could be. The fit is perfect thanks to the young lady at FoxCreek who assisted when I called to verify my size. I originally purchased a jacket from another company but after getting it home I was not impressed with the overall quality and my wife said I should take it back and order from "that place in Virginia you've researched." I'm so glad I listened to her. I have zero regrets and though the price was high for me, I believe it was some of the best money I've ever spent.
The interior pockets are very roomy one has an easy access snap (I use it to carry my phone) and one is zippered so it's great for your wallet or even a concealed carry. Exterior vents in arms, chest and rear shoulder blade area offer good flow. Understand that you won't want to be in the direct sun at 100 degrees sitting in traffic as you will begin to over heat. I personally consider the trade off worth it. I suppose if you have enough money for several jackets then this would be a a better jacket for early fall through early summer.
I am looking forward to many years of use out of this jacket!
First leather motorcycle jacket

I am a new rider and wanted the best protection I could get. The quality is second to none, stitching, leather, fit is all amazing!
Living in Texas I knew the jacket was going to be hot but the trade off is lack of protection. To my surprise the vents work extremely well at low speeds. Parking lot drills are hot but not unbearable.
The fact that the jacket is made here in the USA was a huge selling point and after reading about the history of the company I took the plunge. No regrets at all. I would recommend Fox Creek to anyone looking for top quality leather gear.
Look no further!

I have owned quite a few leather motorcycle jackets in my time, and checked out many before buying this one. I'm going to come right to the chase and say that this is by far the best jacket I have ever owned. Fits like a glove, feels fantastic and I have no fear that this jacket will protect me in a fall. Customer service was fantastic in sizing and answering questions and the jacket came quick. This will probably be the last leather jacket I buy. You can break it in but I don't think you can wear it out! Worth twice the price. Fox Creek is the best of the best.

The last leather jacket I bought was back in 1969. In the late 80's I switched to textile. Recently I put on my old leather jacket and realized how much I missed the comfort and ease of leather. In addition there is the cool factor of style. So...my search for a jacket began. I found FoxCreek on line, read the story of how it started and grew. I especially liked the stories of how the owner believed in people, was loyal to his employees and suppliers and always strived to make the best product out there. Then I read some of the reviews and was impressed. However, what sold me was the people I spoke with when I called the shop. From the very first conversation I was sold. The staff was incredible in every way. The first jacket I ordered was a 44 long. Based on my measurements they recommended a regular but I thought I knew better and asked them to send a long....no problem. Guess what? They were right . I felt a bit sheepish calling but I did and asked for a regular. No problem we will send it out right away. It fit perfect.
Aside from the incredible personal service, this is the finest leather jacket I have seen. It is well designed, fits just right, looks really cool and when I wear it I know people in Independence, VA designed it, cut it out, sewed it together, and made sure it was perfect for me. You will never find a better jacket or nicer people to work with. At one point in the process I said to my wife " these people are so nice I would buy the jacket just so I could call up and talk to them".
PS. Guys, be aware.....my wife liked my jacket so much that I felt guilty so I bought her one too!! I didn't expect that but the up side is she looks beautiful in the jacket and wants to ride even more!

This is an outstanding jacket with superior workmanship and heavy, quality leather. The armor is worth the money and fits into the jacket very well without being cumbersome. I ride a sportbike (GSX1300R Hayabusa) and the jacket is comfortable given the sporty riding position. I'm very pleased with it and would buy it again. Highly recommended.
