This is a really nice leather jacket, and it smells really great. Good quality. I measured myself as wearing about a 52 and bought the size 54, fits perfect but arms are a little big.

I was initially disappointed when I clicked on the link to this jacket, seeing that it didn't appear to be available in my size. I found out that FCL can still make this jacket through a custom order and even put in armor pockets at no additional charge. So I ordered it up and have been extremely happy with the purchase.
I ordered this style because I find the neck snap on other motorcycle jackets fairly uncomfortable and the open neck on this one was the first thing I liked about it. I also noticed that the leather they use is slightly thinner than the Grayson and since I have a vested interest in avoidance of skin grafts and am a proponent of ATGATT, I kind of wanted something that would be as comfortable as possible in the summer time.
What has been a particularly nice surprise with this jacket is how comfortable it is both while riding at 45F (7C) at highway speeds with just a t-shirt underneath, as well as simply sitting in a 72F room (which makes me think it'll be comfortable at 90F going 70mph). It's even been comfortable enough to wear out and about here in Iowa when the temperature dipped down to 5F (-17C), though I didn't quite have the stones to get on the bike that day. Anyways, the point is that it holds up pretty well in a variety of temperatures. I was a little skeptical that the snap front would let in too much wind (there is no zipper, if that's not obvious from the photos) but this wasn't a problem. Armor fits nicely into the size 46 I got, and while movement is certainly more restricted when the armor is in, it's not hard to take it out if you just want to wear the jacket around.
Like others who've commented on here, FCL's service was fantastic. It is also nice to buy something from a company who was *always* making their stuff here in the USA because it was the right thing to do...rather than all of a sudden starting to do so because it became too expensive to manufacture overseas or because manufacturing overseas suddenly becomes a liability. I like buying from the people who've been providing jobs here in the US - the whole time they've been making stuff.
Anyways, a really great product, great service, and when you factor in what you get for the money, I think it's a great value.

This is my second leather jacket from Fox Creek Leather. My first was the leather car coat which I wear for business all the time. The Rebel Jacket is a perfect fit for me and my motorcycle, and can be worn for all occasions. The leather is soft but substantial. I highly recommend this jacket. I am looking for every opportunity to wear it.
Just an additional note, the ladies at Fox Creek Leather are very knowledgeable about fitting the jacket. I would advise that you listen to their recommendations. They called me in advance of shipping to confirm my size. I did not take their advice and I should have. They were dead on with my sizing. To all those who buy, enjoy!

I received my leather jacket a few months back now. As soon as I pulled it out of the well packaged box it came in, I wanted to jump right on here and leave my review straight away. It looked incredible. The attention to detail, the quality of the leather, I just knew I had a high quality piece of kit in my hands.
I stopped myself though, thinking I should wait at least a few months till I had a better idea of the fit and function of the jacket, as impressed with the form as I was.
I can now happily say that my first impressions were right: I did have a high quality piece of gear in my hands. The jacket is everything I wanted and needed. The fit is perfect! I can't thank the folks at Fox Creek Leather enough for their help getting the fit right.
The only reason I've had to knock my rating down to a 4.5 is that a few threads have pulled on the outside middle of my breast pocket quite easily. This might seem harsh, but I was disappointed.
All in all, I'm stoked with my Rebel Leather Jacket. The customer service I received is second to none in my experience, the folks recommendations about what size and length to get were all very accurate and I can honestly say without their help, I know for sure I wouldn't be as happy with my jacket as I am. Please, if you feel like you're a little unsure about what fit or length to get as I was, get in touch with the magicians at Fox Creek Leather. They will point you in the right direction and deliver a product that will attract plenty of compliments and you will be proud to wear. I can personally vouch for that fact.
Cheers Fox Creek Leather!
Leather Rebel Jacket: The Value of a Second Skin

I grew up in a biker family, and my father always told me, "Dress for the slide." I always knew he meant good gear, but he never talked much more about it. Then 5 years ago, he and my mother ran their Road King at 90 km/h into a truck running a stop sign. They flew more than 100 meters apart, sliding on the tarmac until their leathers were almost see-through... but those leathers saved their lives. So when it came time to buy my first motorcycle jacket, I knew who to ask. My dad said two words: Fox Creek.
Right from the beginning of the ordering process, the Fox Creek Leather crew were fabulous. I was leery ordering something as expensive as a jacket online, but Chippy answered every little question I asked - and believe me as someone who has worked in customer service before, around the 10th question that can be tough. But at every step she gave great advice and answered every question quickly. I finally settled on the Leather Rebel Jacket and placed my order. Now, I understand that the mail system works in mysterious ways, especially when ordering to Canada from the US... but how my jacket got to my door in 4 days is beyond me. Chippy must have connections.
The jacket itself is a masterpiece of leather work. The seams are sewn tight enough to hold together under the harshest of collisions, yet the jacket is softer than any leather I have ever owned. The fit was perfect, exactly as Chippy said it would be, true to measurement down to the 8th of an inch. Every part of the Leather Rebel Jacket speaks of quality - don't be fooled by it's low price point, this jacket is meant to be on the road. The leather is thick but supple enough to feel comfortable on the back of my '98 Virago, and it cuts the wind better than any textile jacket I've had. This is a jacket made to last - I highly doubt I will ever need to use the lifetime guarantee it comes with. And as far as looking good... clean lines, perfect balance, and an amazing fit with a just right collar to keep the wind out.
As I drive down the road in my new Fox Creek Leather jacket, I know one thing: if (when) the day comes when I have a close encounter with the pavement, I know that I can trust my leather to do it's job. Thank you Fox Creek Leather!!

Got my Rebel in the mail today. I'm incredibly pleased with it. It's comfortable and not too warm.

I have owned several leather jackets over the past 40 years. I had a Brooks, Harley, and Schott. After using this jacket for over a month I would have to say hands down this is best the jacket I have ever owned.
This jacket is made of top quality materials and workmen ship. The fit and style are unmatched. It works excellent in warm weather by itself and in cold weather with a sweatshirt or flannel shirt under it. Made in the USA and great price for the quality you receive. If you plan on using it in cold weather go a size larger so you can layer.

I purchased a Rebel Vest prior to purchasing my Rebel Jacket. I was so impressed with my vest that I ordered the jacket for colder weather. The jacket is as nice if not better then the vest. Great quality! It's fantastic. If you're looking for leather products of any kind, shop at Fox Creek Leather. You will not be disappointed.
You guys are the best.

My new leather jacket was delivered on a hot August day. I ripped open the box and the fresh scent of leather escaping and making the room smell great! I put on my fitted jacket, still warm from being on the UPS truck all day. AAAAHHHHH, this jacket is perfect! Every stitch in place, the heavy duty zippers all nice and shiny. The jacket is not a Large or X-Large but a 44. It fits great like a suit jacket and the leather is so soft and just the right thickness that it can be worn on a hot August day in Oklahoma, as long as you are moving down the road that is! A lot of people liked the jacket since I wore it that evening at a party. The price is right and the quality is high. I have paid a lot more for a lesser of a jacket. Fox Creek Leather you have a new customer for life!
