*Some of our Men's Classic II Jackets do not have the armor pockets, but we are now designing all Classic II Jackets with armor pockets. During the transition there are limited sizes that are available without them so if you don't want armor pockets, please indicate it in the notes and we will ship as available.
The Classic II Motorcycle Jacket is cut extra long in the back with a padded kidney panel for added protection. Dual front and rear vents move the air easily through a mesh shell while an internal wind flap stops it cold at the zipper. A zip out full sleeve insulated liner completes the climate control package. Side lacing enables you to contour the motorcycle jacket to your body and an inside snap pocket is set in the leather facing where it won't rip out. Leather is 1.4 to 1.6mm soft, thick and supple with a dull luster.
This is the motorcycle jacket I would usually end up wearing before I sold my last bike.
The difference between the Classic I and the Classic II is that the Classic I has a watch pocket and breast pocket on the left side and a half belt in front. Outside of that they are the same leather jacket.
Please read How Your Motorcycle Jacket Is Supposed To Fit if you have any questions on sizing.

Susan and I do a lot of riding and like to be protected by our riding gear, thus the Classic II. I bought mine a year ago and Susan over the winter. On a long ride from White Bear Lake, MN to Vail, Colorado in June, we discovered how comfortable and stylish they are.

On our ride we experienced heat into the 100's, heavy cross winds, rain, and cold. We were surprised at how comfortable we were in the heat while riding with the vents opened (we did shed the jackets when it hit 100). They handled a couple of rain storms very well when we were unable to change into rain gear. When it came to the cold they did equally as well, providing plenty of room for layering and front closure to keep out the wind.
I have not needed to learn how well they do when having contact with the road (I will take other testimonials as being true, thank you!). But I do joke with people that can't get over the weight of the leather, telling them that... "if I go down they will be repairing the road." It is comforting to know that gear of this high quality is available.
Thank you Fox Creek Leather!

I have two other sets of leathers, one is from a Harley dealership and the other is from Iron Horse , but the leathers i received from Fox Creek Leather are a heads and shoulders above the others! I ordered the Classic II and had it customized, had the epaulets removed and had it done in brown. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the quality of the the product but how nice everyone was to me.
Anyone looking for quality leathers needs to look no further than Fox Creek Leather, I just wish they had a neat short and long sleeve shirt with a cool fox logo, I would have to have one! Throw away that China made crap and save your money and buy the best - Fox Creek Leather!

I've had this jacket for about a year now and recently went down at about 75mph. The jacket saved me from some severe road rash. My legs got torn up really bad but my upper body was in good shape. Unfortunately; the EMT's cut the jacket off me so I will have to replace it but it did its job and I am here to talk about it. It's to bad because you cant hardly tell that the jacket slid over 100 yards down the asphalt before I left the road. I will be buying another as soon as finances permit.
Rained on my new coat

Hi! I just want to say that when you go to Fox Creek to get a new coat. Watch out you could die, because they kill you with kindness! They are so helpful, made sure the coat fit, got a discount for riding there from Iowa.
IT IS JUST AS EVERYONE SAYS. The coat feel heavy but wears very light. Same quality as my vest and chaps the liner is a great plus.
Got to wear it home and give it a good try out, about 900 mile. Very comfortable and the vents work well.
Oh yea, right after I left the shop and turned the key it started to rain, I mean rain! It stopped about 10 minutes later so I could ride down Highway 58 .If you go to Fox Creek Leather ride that road.
They even put me on Facebook!

The Jacket is premo! It fits great and is in my opinion a bargain price for the superior features and weight of the leather utilized. It weighs a ton in hand but the leather is so supple that it feels like an old friend once you wear it.
I picked up my 2004 Road Glide the same day I got the Jacket and put 150 miles on it the following day. I wore a long sleeve shirt under the jacket and rode several hours in 44 degree Montana sunshine and the only thing that even got remotely chilled were my hands and legs. Guess I'll be hitting you for chaps in the near future.
I just had to says thanks for a GREAT American made product. It goes well with my other American made product. Go all the way with USA!!!!
I Wish To Compliment Your Entire Staff

What is this world coming to? As I returned home yesterday I found a package awaiting me on my back porch. As I moved the package to the house I noted the weight of the package and began to wonder, could it be my jacket? Being much heavier than I had expected, I figured your staff must have done an excellent job packaging. Opening the box, much to my surprise, inside was nothing but the jacket.
For a year and a half now, since having my "Brooks" Jacket of 17 years stolen, I have searched from Chillicothe, OH, to Sturgis,SD. Daytona FL. to Milwaukee ,WI. for a comparable replacement only to find cheap Chinese, Indonesian or Korean or even Pakistani imitations. As you well know American made leather products are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially of this quality!
I wish to compliment your entire staff on your speedy service as well as accurate descriptions of your products "on-line". I will be contacting you in the very near future for a second jacket, as it was very hard to decide on the one model. And in the future you can count on me as a "sales representative" for your products!
Thank you again for your great service, incomparable product, and service to the American biker and our way of life!!!

I ordered the Classic Motorcycle Jacket II this past weekend, and was shocked to see it arrive YESTERDAY?! Can you really find the requested size, and ship something that fast? Apparently, you all can. So far the jacket seems to fit great. I couldn't keep it on for very long though, even in my air conditioned house, with only a t-shirt the jacket was so heavy I couldn't take the heat. I think I have finally found the winter weight jacket I have been looking for.
I have a vest from you all as well, so I already knew to expect a good quality product, but I am still impressed with the quality, the feel, the weight, oh and the wonderful smell of the leather.
Thanks again, from a repeat happy customer. Look forward to doing business with you again. I think maybe chaps next time?

I have owned this jacket for about 6 months now. I've owned and worn leather jackets from various manufacturers over the years, including HD, FirstGear, HeinGueirke. This is the best jacket of all of them by far. Great fit and finish, comfortable and heavy, yet supple, leather with quality zippers and snaps.
I took a special trip to their facility in southern VA. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were actually closed when I rode up but opened the shop and allowed me to browse and select a jacket. They then shipped it home for free!
Solid American Jacket - needs some mods

I've had this jacket for a couple of seasons now. I primarily wear it in the Spring and Fall when the weather is a little cooler.
The leather used on this jacket is primo. It is thick, heavy and supple. Everything that makes this jacket worth owning is in the high quality leather.
The construction of this jacket is well done. I believe this jacket can last a lifetime if not more. Just about everything mentioned in other reviews is spot on.
There are some issues with the jacket which I think are worth mentioning...
I bought the tall size but I think it's still too short in the sleeves. Needs another inch to keep the sun and wind off of the wrists.
The wrists have zippers like other motorcycle jackets, but these don't expand enough when you open them. This makes getting my hands through the sleeves difficult when taking the jacket on and off.
The liner could be better for very cold weather. You may want to size up to wear a sweatshirt underneath if you want to ride in the cold a lot.
And last, and this is just nagging a bit, it would've been cool if there was a choice of hardware finishes.
Hey if this were a motorcycle, these would be the things that I'd be looking to modify, if I could, to make it mine.
(Fox Creek Leather can make jackets with added length and different colored hardware. We require a trial fit in a stock jacket before making a custom jacket because they are not returnable. The extra cost of making a custom jacket is $80.)
Classic II Jacket

I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the quality and durability of my Fox Creek Classic motorcycle jacket II. I procrastinated spending the almost $400 for several years and wanting to try the jacket on personally, rather than mail order, So In 2005 I rode to your place (the black barn across fox creek) and tried one on. I have never regretted spending the money since. I never leave home without it and I have traveled coast to coast logging over 70,000 miles in the past 6 years. This jacket kept me warm even when I was riding back through Wyoming and South Dakota when the temperature dipped below freezing.

This last fall I noticed the stitching coming loose under the sleeve and sent it in to you for repairs. I got the jacket back yesterday and I cannot tell where you made the repair. And the turnaround time was prompted. So for anyone who is thinking about buying a jacket made in Pakistan I’m telling you you’re throwing your money away. I have looked at other jackets (Harley jackets included) and in my opinion Yours are superior.
