Men's Classic Motorcycle Jackets are the most emotionally volatile and historically rich leather jackets we have. When I put one on I can't decide if I am going to ride a motorcycle, vandalize a town or give someone a ticket. Like any piece of great art it means different things to different people.
In 1953 at the age of seven, inspired by Marlon Brando in "The Wild One", I asked my parents if I could get a leather motorcycle jacket. At the time, I did not understand the social implications of the leather jacket. My mother looked at me like I had asked her if I could cannibalize my infant brother. She began to cry softly, ashamed that I was drawn to such evil.
I went on to become a small time juvenile delinquent and performed many reprehensible acts but none of them elicited the reaction this simple request did.
In addition to parental alienation, the Men's Classic I Jacket is well suited for motorcycle riding. It's cut extra long in the back with a padded kidney panel. Dual front and rear vents move the air easily through a mesh shell while an internal wind flap stops it cold at the zipper. A zip out full sleeve insulated liner means this motorcycle jacket is perfect for hot and cold weather riding.
Side lacing enables you to contour the leather motorcycle jacket to your body and an inside snap pocket is set in the leather facing where it won't rip out. Leather is 1.4 to 1.6 mm soft, thick and supple with a dull luster.
The difference between the Men's Classic Motorcycle Jacket I and Men's Classic Motorcycle Jacket II is that the Men's Classic Motorcycle Jacket I has a watch pocket and breast pocket on the left side and a half belt in front. Outside of that they are the same leather jacket.

Better than I ever dreamed

After being off bikes for 20 years I got the itch again. Would you believe it, my 40 year old jacket shrunk. Looked everywhere for another like it. Found plenty to choose from. Came across FC on a late night search. Was inpressed by the reviews and the Classic I, even though more than what I wanted to spend, looked like the ticket.
The ladies were very helpful with the order and my jacket came fast. First impression was WOW ......... everything I'd read was way to underrating. I wanted to wear it to bed, but, the 48 was small.
Called the next day to explain the problem and found folks who do biz the old fashion way. A mans word is his bond. Just received a 50 and a 52 to try for fit. Send the other two back.
Now got to decide between these two beauties. Can I have them both mom, please..........

The leather was as supple as advertised and fit perfectly. I recommend calling Fox Creek as I did to get a comfort level that the sizing is correct. The lady was friendly and knowledgible. Solid zippers and snaps.
WOW! 9lbs of leather!

I just received my jacket! WOW! 9lbs of leather! Feels custom made. I really appreciate the customer service with the call. Finally a jacket that I will have for the rest of my life. I may even ask to be buried in this versus my Military uniform, but that would be a shame not to pass down. Thanks again and God bless!
Great Motorcycle Jacket

I had bought a Fox Creek Jacket for my wife back in 2004 and have been waiting for my old jacket to finally wear out so that I upgrade to this grade of leather jacket. My old jacket was durable and lasted until this year. There is no comparison to the quality of leather this product delivers. I look forward to many rides ahead trying to wear it out.
Very well made jacket

This jacket is very well made in the USA! If that sort of thing is important to you. It is to me. It is nice that it is ventilated. It is a heavy jacket though which is a double edged sword. Safer but adds weight for sure!
Classic 1 Jacket

Well folks I Bought this Jacket about 6 months ago, Took a few tries to get the right size but they were great about it. Sent jacket before I had even returned the first one (wrong size was my fault by the way) Rode with a Schott for years which is an excellent jacket but this one beats it hands down. Warmer and the Schott I had used permanent lining so in summer it was hot. This one has Breather Zippers and removable lining, absolutely love this jacket. But be aware it is heavy LOL, Not a light weight weekend warrior type Leather for sure.

If you're looking for an old school leather jacket with a few of the modern comforts such as air vent cooling and the option to adorn your jacket with armor inserts then look no further. Before you read much further remember one thing, you get what you pay for...period. Yes this jacket is pricy but, its quality that you will not find elsewhere, trust me I've tried and have come up snake eyes every time. If you think that your best interest lay in wrapping yourself in cheap leather, just remember that if and when you hit the pavement and your "protection" blows apart...dress for the slide not the ride. Anyways, this leather is simply beautiful, its noticeably thicker than anything else I've seen around yet very soft, pliable and free of defects and marring in the grain. The jacket does have some heft to it, its a little heavier but, its because you easily have 3 times if not more thickness in hide. The fit and finish is second to none, the stitching is superb and all of the seems are beautifully addressed. All of the hardware is brass matched with YKK zippers that offer smooth zipping and unzipping even with a gloved hand. All of the snaps are solid and take a bit of manipulation to unsnap which means its not going to haphazardly come unsecured. Interior lining is very plush to include the linings of the pocket spaces which is a welcome feeling for your hands. The zip out liner is secured with a full inner loop zipper running from the bottom edge of the jacket all the way around the collar to the other bottom edge and the arms are secured with a small pass through button found at the cuff end which is secured to a small elastic fastener offering a slight bit of movement when manipulating your arms. I have noticed that the removable liner, when zipped into the jacket does restrict my arm movement slightly, I wish that it was a little more forgiving but this is not enough for me to discredit the jacket. The side waist adjustments are a nice feature allowing a more custom fit which is handy when bulking up for cooler rides yet can be synched down for a more form fit when just a T-shirt and jacket are more comfortable. The lacing system is finished with brass grommets (as is the waist belt) so there is no worry of the lacing every cutting into the leather. Arms offer a nice tapper at the cuff to secure around your wrist and come with a long zipper to allow a comfortable fit...with or without gloves. The tapper is nice enough to allow a gauntlet glove to fit over or, if left unzipped can accommodate your favorite riding glove slipped under the cuff. The arm length is perfect zipped or unzipped both on and off the bike, not too long that your hand disappears when your arms are at your side and not too short when you're on the skoot. I cant go much further without mentioning something about the customer service. Fox Creek Leather has a customer service team every bit as good as their leather. Very helpful, polite and accommodating. Service and questions are answered promptly not to mention their leather comes with a lifetime guarantee and its made in the USA so, the only question is...what do you have to lose?
Worth the Money

I am very satisfied. I admit, I was hesitant on dropping more than $500 on a jacket. The tall size fits great. The numerous pockets and zippers are well thought out. It is much warmer than my HD jacket. It is heavy, but that's a good thing. The removable lining has sleeves (not the vest type lining like my HD jacket). My only issue is the collar rubs on the bottom back of my helmet (German). It tends to fight you, a little, when you turn your head.
Thank you Fox Creek Leather.
