Know that our Firefighters are a loyal group of individuals; who once they find a product they like, the word spreads fast. We hope that your product and company name will be among those that are pass through the Firefighter grapevine. Do not be left out of this event, there is still time for you to participate.

This will be our 4th Annual Poker Run, our ride this year will cover approximately. 80 miles starting in Monroe, NC through Charlotte, NC to end at Pat Rogers Harley Davidson in Concord, NC. We have six stops total this year and hope to raise a record amount of money to help both our funds.

We are asking local companies as well as others to please help us out with monetary donations to benefit our Charities or merchandise that can be used as door prizes. Now through July 19, 2009 if a company sends in $150.00 to $300.00 we adding your name to our much sought after event T-shirts as well as listing you on our web site as a sponsor of our event.

You will find two attachments with this e-mail: 1) Formal letter of Introductions 2) Donation Letter

Our Mission;

The Charlotte Firefighters Association has supported the Muscular Dystrophy Association in the past through the “Fill the Boot” fund drive. This year, as in years past, we are hoping to raise enough money to give a substantial donation to the MDA to aid in the research of a cure for Muscular Dystrophy.

The Charlotte Fire Department Benevolent Fund was established to provide assistance to members of the Charlotte Fire Department or their immediate family members in the event of a family crisis, hardship, or emergency situations. The benevolent fund is a nonprofit charitable organization. Fundamentally it is firefighters supporting firefighters.

Supporting the Muscular Dystrophy Association & the CFD Benevolent Fund is an excellent tool to reach a captive audience of active professionals, increase brand awareness, extend product exposure and drive sales.

Thank You
