1st Annual “Road Trip Scholarship Ride” (MO)

Scavenger Hunt Motorcycle Ride Format
$20 per driver, $10 per rider

Harrisonville, MO USA: May 21, 2009: The Jerry Tabb Memorial Scholarship Trust has officially announced their first ever motorcycle scholarship event. Benefitting the Jerry Tabb Memorial Scholarship Trust, the First Annual “Road Trip Ride” will serve as a newest Jerry Tabb event helping raise funds needed to continue helping local students pursue higher education. For 11 years the ‘Road Crew’, volunteers and committee members of the Trust, have awarded an annual $4000 scholarship to a graduating student of the Cass Career Center, to assist fund further education at a college, university or professional trade school. Being a CCC scholarship, the Jerry Tabb Memorial Scholarship is unique in its reach of potential recipients, as students from all sending schools are eligible. Sending schools include Harrisonville, Lee’s Summit, Lee’s Summit West, Lee’s Summit North, Raymore-Peculiar, Belton, Archie, Adrian, Drexel, Lone Jack, Midway and Pleasant Hill.

Taking place June 13th, 2009, the “Road Trip Ride” will be held in a ride/scavenger hunt format, suitable for motorcycle riders of all ages, types and experience! Registration starts 1 hour before ride start. Early registration forms available at Clark’s Place, Gail’s Harley Davidson, Mike’s 71 Cycles, or via email at jerrytabbroadtrip@gmail.com. $100 and $50 cash prizes for top two riders, with complementary rider cookout and awards ceremony hosted by the Road Crew, Clark’s Place & Wide Open Magazine immediately following event!
