A laced rawhide thong allows the girth of our chaps to be easily adjusted. The eyelets are reinforced by steel gromets, and the belt is a double thickness of leather in this area. In the event the rawhide lacing is damaged, it may be easily and inexpensively replaced.
An adjustable back allows you to change the width in the back to accommodate how you want to buckle the chaps in the front. It also allows maximum flexibility if your weight fluctuates or you want to lend them out to someone else.
