I have to share my experience with my new Fox Creek Leather Chaps, Absolutely Awesome!! As I'm in the aging bracket it had become painful after a short 30 minute ride to work. I jumped in head first and not really letting my mind explore the possibilities of such a great set of chaps, I let my wife Rita see the chaps on me and after some discussion I decided to take them to my leather guy in Sydney and he did his work and made them fit in the leg and a hemmed, while I was there I looked at what Australia had to offer and I was quite happy you guys came through for me,nothing looked as good.

I went on a day ride with my H.O.G. Chapter on Sunday 23rd September to a little hotel in the country where it can be a little cold if not dressed accordingly, many of my fellow bike riders had their chaps on. I have to say without getting a big head over it but your chaps stood out from the crowd and I was so impressed I decided to buy abroad from you .

Great Quality Chaps

Last fall I ordered a pair of custom chaps and used them many times in the Minnesota weather. Recently, four of us made a 3000 mile trip through Kansas to Colorado, up the mountains to Yellowstone and back through the Black Hills. It was beautiful. All three of the other guys had chaps with exposed silver zippers and they all failed. They were holding them on with bungee cords, bandannas, and Velcro straps by the end of the trip. Mine performed flawlessly. When you need them, the quality had better be there, and yours was. When leaving Jackson Hole at 38 degrees, they would have happily paid another $30-$40 for chaps that would stay together. Thanks for making a great product. When they wear out, I'll order another pair.

Chaps

I received my chaps yesterday (on time), and they are truly great quality chaps. However, what impressed me most is how the company takes pride in their products, and how they do everything possible to ensure their customers get the proper fit. I followed the measuring instructions, but sure enough I made a mistake with the thigh measurement when placing my order. Well, they noticed an oddity with the measurements and to ensure my order was correct they took the time to call me to get the proper sizing. I have never had a company call me about an order to make sure that things were correct. Everything You Need In A Pair Of Chaps And Nothing You Don't

I bought a pair of your chaps almost 10 years ago, shortly after I got my first Harley. I'm now on my 3rd Harley, but I'm still wearing that same pair of chaps. They are everything you need in a pair of chaps and nothing you don't. Functional, rugged, durable and attractive. They are head and shoulders above the cheap competition, and in my opinion a much better value than the Harley branded import stuff.

My wife has both a fringed and a plain pair of your chaps and I've steered several of my friends to you over the years. My wife and I have worn your chaps all up and down the east coast, out to Arizona (it's chilly in the desert at night and early morning), Nova Scotia (wore'm all day, every day on that one) and lots of places in between. After almost 10 years, they are starting to look broken in. Literally other than some bug crud and wear around the around the cuffs where they drag while I walk, the things look almost new. If I cleaned them up some, they'd pass for rookie year new.

It's great to have such a great product from an American company, and I take pride that it also a Virginia company. Keep up the good work, and I'll keep recommending you guys to my riding buddies.

I just had to write to tell you how satisfied I am with my purchase. I have to admit I almost ordered from another site that had chaps for less money, luckily for me they were out of stock and I found you!!!! Lined Motorcycle Chaps

I received my lined chaps from Fox Creek Leather just in time for the cool weather of fall here in Pennsylvania. Though I waited quite some time for the custom sized chaps to arrive, I am more than pleased with what I received. When I removed them from the cardboard box, I could tell from just the weight that I had chosen the correct company to purchase my chaps from. The chaps are well made, soft, supple, and cut the early morning chill well. If having a well made pair of chaps is not enough, the fact that they are American made and come with a lifetime warranty should be more than enough to convince you to purchase these chaps.

My Sole Riding Suit

I bought your Leather Overpants together with your Perforated Leather Jacket last March and they have been my sole riding suit for the past year. At first, I was concerned that the pants would be hot in the summer since they aren't perforated or vented in any way. After experiencing a San Diego summer and what we call winter, I am pleased to report that they were not hot at 100+ degrees (while moving) and they worked fine on cold days. Having these perforated by Fox Creek would have ruined them for colder riding and been a waste of money. Thank you for that advice, Fox Creek!

Unmatched quality!

I purchased a Fox Creek motorcycle jacket a couple of years ago and was extremely impressed with the quality and workmanship. The great service didn't hurt either! Braided Chaps

I was able to get a great fit with these chaps following the instructions exactly as provided on the website. Customer service was great when I called and asked to verify my measurements since I wasn't sure. I even sent them pictures just to confirm. I was a little nervous when the chaps first arrived and I had a hard time putting them on, but after using them for a few days it became easy. They are great and so easy/quick to put on that it's not a hassle at all. This is good considering that some riders often forgo riding gear for comfort. These chaps are comfortable. Also I opted not to cut off any leather at the bottom because I like the extra cover it gives over my boot. They came to me perfect, no alteration needed.

Pleased To Have Taken The Gamble

You see in the photograph my trusty steed and H-D Softail, the Chaps are worn on both, warm knees in our cool UK climate on the H-D, and clean jodhpurs on the horse.

I will finish by saying that the system of ascertaining the correct size of garment to fit each individual is one to stick with. I was a little apprehensive purchasing from a far away land: however, pleased I am to have taken the gamble. Thank you for the dedicated help you gave me. Quality beats Price

I do a lot of E-Commerce shopping as you probably do too. I know I could have got chaps somewhere else cheaper, but after buying my chaps here I am so glad I chose quality over price.

Very Impressed With The Chaps

I am very impressed with the chaps--especially the fit. It was the devil's own job to get the bloody things on first time--Chippy's picture set helped a lot -- and now after 3 rides they are beginning to take on my shape. The leather quality is second to none and they are super-comfortable compared with the UK-made leather jeans I bought a couple of years back at a lower price. As I said before--false economy!

Two strikes, then a home run!

I purchased a competitive pair of overpants last year as you had discontinued yours at that time. Wore them 5 or 6 times and the front zipper broke, then the belt loop broke from the waist. The mfg did not have any guarantee so it was my problem. I received a pair for Christmas last year from my wife and the first time I put them on the side snap came off, then the belt loop broke, the leather was thin and patchy looking, too shiny, etc.

Finally you started making the overpants again and I received mine about two weeks ago - what a difference! Quality thick leather, tough belt loops, zipper actually works and no problem with the snaps. Believe me I will only purchase Fox Creek apparel in the future.

I already have your leather racing jacket, the cordura jacket, the leather vest, the leather chaps, two pair of gloves, a belt, the leather neck piece and now the overpants. I am a walking advertisement for Fox Creek Leather.

Braided Chaps are a HIT!

Last summer, after years of whining and crying I finally FINALLY was able to finance a Harley. Unfortunately, I was without some of the safety gear you need for riding, and I am not exactly the easiest person to convince. To add insult to the bovine industry, I am not exactly a small guy.

After a couple of months of fumbling around, I located ads for about 4 leather companies, and checked all of them out. One of those was Fox Creek. They had several testimonials, a lot of positive feedbacks, and just seemed to be the fit I needed for the leathers.

After reading an article review of their leather performance I was hooked, and placed an order for braided leather chaps. At the time, I was still a bit apprehensive, even after getting a call back to verify the size I needed. Normally I have all the luck of the skipper of the Titanic. You just do not get the service AND the product of the quality that Fox Creek delivers from anyone else.

The first thing I can say is that these folks will always post an 8-10 week waiting period, which had me worried as riding season was coming. The chaps arrived in 6 weeks!

Then I opened the box, and the first thing I thought was the sheer weight of the leather almost reminded me of chain armor. It feels very soft and quickly conformed to my body, but the best thing is they fit perfectly the first time out, and once I wore them riding, I felt invincible. These leathers went way beyond anything I could have ever expected. The leather is thick enough to protect yet supple enough to form to your body and allow ease of movement.

I received my chaps this past Friday and I just wanted to contact you to tell you that I love them! I have been shopping for about a month for a quality pair of chaps and of course, I traveled the internet as well as the local "bike shop".

Comfort and Quality

I bought mine last year. Just like everything I have bought from Fox Creek, the quality is outstanding. At first I only wore them when the weather was cold, but they are so comfortable, after that short break in period, that now I wear them year round. I have had people ask me "aren't those hot in this weather?" but really they're not.

The pockets are great..deep enough for everything that you need. If you wear half finger gloves in the warm weather, you can get your stuff out of the pockets without removing your gloves. With those full length zippers in the legs, the pants go on and come off in a breeze. I won't ever wear chaps again.

Don't Need Longjohns Any More

Earlier this year I finally broke down and ordered chaps. I say this because two other times over the last 12 months I went into your site and almost put in my order. I was hesitant because I didn't feel comfortable unless I tried them on first. But I really wanted something that was made in the good ole USA. I am a USMC Vietnam vet and always try to buy American made products. So anyway I put my order through for a pair of chaps. They came within a week, I put them on and man did they fit and feel great. I couldn't ride that day due too snow on the roads, but I have ridden many miles since then and I really appreciate them. Don't need my longjohns anymore when riding even though the temp has been in the high twenties at times.

"simply the best"

Simply the best! When you are on the road you are sometimes drowned by rain, dirt or insects in the summertime, - and back home you just use a little warm water on a sponge and clean your leather clothes - if you use jeans or other regular bike-clothes there is a washing machine job or chemical cleaning at a special store.

The most important thing for me, is the good quality the overpants have, - which I bought some months ago.

I really like the side zippers - very smart and convenient at a road stop when you are stopping for a break.

We also have good quality motorcycle leather here in Norway, but I bought from Fox Creek because of the price - even if I had to pay the shipping and also 25% in import tax - it was still cheaper, - but I purchased mainly because of the high quality.

Far and away superior in materials, workmanship, and fit!

I wanted to take a minute and compliment Fox Creek on the outstanding products I recently purchased. I purchased a pair of chaps and a classic motorcycle jacket II at a motorcycle show in January 2003 and I am very happy that I went with the Fox Creek products. Compared to the other vendors, the Fox Creek garments were far and away superior in materials, workmanship, and fit which overcame any pricing comparisons. I've had the opportunity to utilize the garments on several rides in my local area and while the temperatures were in the 40's with a wind chill approaching the low teens, the chaps and jacket provided the protection I was looking for. The adage "you get what you pay for" certainly applies to Fox Creek in the most positive terms.

Great Products!

Great service, great products, great Americans! I have to admit I ordered a pair of chaps from another site on the net and when I received them, they were the wrong size,and very poor quality. I put them right back in the box and shipped them back the next day and ordered from Fox Creek, you wouldn't believe the difference in quality in the chaps construction and quality of leather. I received my chaps from Fox Creek and they fit like I had been wearing them for years,no break in period needed. The leather is thicker than any chaps I have previously seen but softer, I hope I never go down on my bike but feel confident that these chaps will help protect me. I have showed these to all my friends all of who are impressed. There was a difference in price, but I strongly believe you pay for what you get, the price is very reasonable compared to the chaps.
