Blown away by the quality....

This is the second leather jacket I have purchased from Fox Creek and they are both absolutely incredible jackets. The quality of the leather is supreme, the workmanship is fantastic, the detail is impeccable. Words cannot describe how happy I am with this jacket. Every one of my friends is dumbstruck how well this jacket is made, the babes can't keep their hands off either..lol.

Now this is what "Made in America" should be all about.

Vented Reflector Jacket

I just got my reflective jacket this morning which I ordered exactly one week ago..as usual with Fox Creek excellent service. Finally, I have a good leather jacket after several experiments with poor substitutes. The quality is first rate not only in the leather but in the hardware like zippers, snaps, etc. As an owner of many Fox Creek products such as their buffalo nickel vest, chaps, several pair of gloves for all seasons, and even their leather jeans (not the over pants) which they do not carry as a regular item any more, I was never in doubt as to the quality & fit while waiting for delivery. I had to put the jacket on & test ride it for a short 20 mile ride. It felt as though I had been wearing it for years with no stiffness or binding anywhere.

If you are tired of dealing with the usual off shore junk just get the real deal made here in the USA.

Thanks for the great jacket. When I first got it, I was going to send it back, as I felt it was too heavy, then I remembered why I am buying a leather jacket in the first place; to protect me if I am sliding down the pavement. Hopefully if this happens, I wont leave much hide behind and the Harley guys wont run me over.

This jacket is well constructed from heavy leather which is very supple and seems that careful detail has been planned in its construction.

I also purchased some leather conditioner which seems to be top quality.

I have seen similar quality jackets coming out of the far east which compare to our USA made jackets. I like to keep us USA folks employed whenever possible.

I get a hard time from my Yamaha friends about buying American but I don't want to go there.

The only improvement I would make to this jacket and all others by Fox Creek , would be to add gusseting to the underarms of all their jackets.

When you are riding you do not lift your arms but when not riding you may lift your arms and the whole side of the jacket lifts up, creating a weight drag. This could also allow wind to come up inside the side of your jacket , And could be a real problem if you have to clean some guys clock in a street fight for dissing your foreign bike. Just Kidding Harley Folks.

Great Leather.

I had been looking for a motorcycle jacket to replace one that had been stolen some time back. After searching the local area I had discovered Fox Creek Leather while online.

I had been looking primarily for a motorcycle jacket, but once I had seen the Vented Bomber Jacket by Fox Creek, I had decided to buy it.

This jacket, style wise, seemed like it would be suitable for cycle use as well as general casual wear. A couple days after placing my order the jacket arrived.

As it turned out, I had ordered a size too small so i called Customer Service and requested a return authorization. The very helpful staff had agreed to send me a bigger size even before I returned the original, thus affording me the opportunity to compare the two sizes.

This level of customer service support impressed me.

Upon receipt of the first jacket, I was impressed by the weight, luster and softness of the leather. The jacket was designed with a myriad of air vents and pockets and even a removable liner and neck warmer. The zippers, snaps, mesh liner and even the pocket liners were of top notch quality.

The Bomber jacket has this feature whereby the outer zipper remains unzipped but a second zipper could be zipped thus exposing a perforated liner to allow for even more airflow and an additional inch or two for those of us requiring some.

As stated earlier I had been shopping for quality leather for some time but just got tired of being asked to pay extra for the middleman and seeing labels stating jacket made in either China,Korea or Pakistan.

Let me say in conclusion, that I doubt any other cycle jacket has the combination of top notch leather/hardware, the well thought out design and features, the workmanship, the helpful courteous staff, the Made in U.S.A. name tag and all at a very competitive price, making this jacket in my opinion "Second to None". Although this was my first Fox Creek Leather purchase, it will not be my last. The product, the service and the price are just that good.

Now all I need is a supply of their business cards.

Best Leather Ever Owned

Mark Curtis in a Fox Creek Leather Vented Racing Jacket

Bought my first jacket from Paul in 1996 out of the back of his trailer in Greenville, SC. After 2 years, and 20,000 miles it was lost, so I got another one just like it. The second one was even better. Who knows how many miles I've put on this one. I've ridden in all kinds of weather. In one day I rode to the top of Mt. Washington, NH in a snow storm, then through a thunderstorm, and on to Laconia. It kept me warm and reasonably dry through the whole trip. I've even worn it when it got up to 90 degrees, with the air vents open it was comfortable. Best leather ever owned, wouldn't wear any other.

Best jacket I've ever owned!

After buying a few cheap, over-the-counter, made in Pakistan motorcycle jackets, I decided to step up and invest in a quality leather riding jacket. After searching locally turned up nothing worthwhile, I turned to the Web. The folks at V-Twin Forum.com recommended Fox Creek Leather. I pointed my mouse towards their site and began to look around.

I soon found the jacket I was looking for. The Vented Racing jacket has simple but timeless style, without all the extra flash and dazzle that seems to adorn most jackets sold by other manufacturers. I was impressed by Fox Creeks attention to details, as seen by the use of quality zippers, snaps, and the zip-out inner liner.

Using the on-line fitment guide, I determined my size to be a 46. I took the plunge and placed my order. This was the first time I ordered any article of clothing over the net, and I wanted to make sure things would go smoothly. After a couple of e-mails to the helpful Fox Creek staff, they determined that everything would be ok using the measurements that I provided.

When I received my jacket, it was all I expected, and then some. My first impression was that of heft. This thing is heavy! When I tried it on, I noticed the soft, smooth texture of the leather, followed by that rich leather aroma. Very pleasing to the senses, to say the least.

My first ride with the Vented Racing jacket was a treat. The front and rear vents provided me with much appreciated cooling on my trip. The ability to remove the inner liner also helps on those warm rides, too. I've heard stories about other riders who have gone down that say their Vented Racing jackets helped protect their hides as they went skidding across the pavement. I hope I never have to test the durability of my jacket that way!

In summary, the Vented Racing jacket is the best jacket I've ever owned. I used to buy cheap stuff and live with it. However, after spending some time with this jacket, I believe that quality is something that shouldn't be compromised. With Fox Creek, you can have quality without breaking the bank.

I'm glad I took the chance and ordered my jacket from Fox Creek. Should I need any other leather goods, Fox Creek will get my business, no question.

Nicest Jacket I've Ever Owned...

Curtis wearing his Classic II

I took delivery of my Classic II around the first of September when the weather was still warm. My brother had convinced me to start wearing leather if I was going to continue to commute on my cruiser, that it was just a matter of time before I'd be needing thicker skin. The jacket is the nicest piece of apparel I own. The leather is soft and thick and fits like a glove. The venting made the jacket comfortable even on 85+ degree days, and now that the weather is cooler, it handles the mid 40s morning temperatures with just a long sleeve shirt. Thanks for producing such a fine product. Also, as of this writing, I haven't gone down.

There's a review on the website that says when you pull the jacket out of the box, it seems to gain weight. That guy wasn't kidding.

This leather is soft and smooth. It's fantastic. I received my jacket at work and I've had multiple coworkers touch the jacket and just keep petting it. I went to my second job and was asked how much I paid for it. After telling him how much my jacket cost, he scoffed and said he'd never pay that much for a jacket. I told him to touch the jacket. He was skeptical (about me asking him to feel it) but after feeling how soft and thick it was, he changed his mind.

The fit is exactly what I needed. When I talked with the customer service rep, I gave my measurements and was told that I should go one size higher than what I thought. I took her advice and when I received my jacket, it fit perfectly. I received multiple compliments on how this jacket just seemed to fit me better than my previous one (personality wise as well).

The pockets are huge. The inside pockets are almost too big. The big map pocket is massive. I can actually fit my Blackhawk inside and that's a very large revolver. I can fit my laptop inside this pocket, which will be nice when I have to hop on the bike to go work on someone's local area network (I'm a computer tech). I won't have to worry about bags or my laptop bag.

I don't ride on ice, so the closest I could come to testing the jacket vs the cold was opening all the windows in my truck. Without the liner, at about -10 degrees, I was fine with gloves and jacket on. I still had the windshield (so it's not 'really' like the 'cycle) but at no time did I feel cold.

I also decided that I'd wear the jacket indoors in the tech area to see if I'd overheat. With the liner out and no open vents, I was able to wear the jacket indoors, sitting at a computer for a couple hours with no heat problems. I don't see heat being an issue on those hot days with open vents and a nice breeze as I cruise around town.

Shipping was great. I ordered my jacket right before the weekend and I received it bright and early Tuesday morning. All the customer service reps I talked to were fantastic. I called multiple times to ask questions and emailed multiple times (probably to the point where they were getting sick of talking to me) but I never received anything but fantastic customer service. My thanks to all of the wonderful ladies who I conversed with.

I'm a cynic when it comes to product reviews. I read all the reviews on the Fox Creek website and thought, well, this sounds good BUT... After wearing this jacket and dealing with the fine people at Fox Creek Leather, I won't be cynical anymore (at least when it comes to them). I'll be purchasing a belt, chaps, and bags here just as soon as I can.

Thanks again for the wonderful (Made in the USA) customer experience!

Great quality

After deciding that I wanted a leather motorcycle jacket, I spent a lot of time researching all of the various brands out there...only to find that there are not many USA made leather jackets that offer good venting and body armor. The choices came down to Vanson and Fox Creek. Ultimately, I went with the Grayson and I have been very happy.

Initial impressions- The leather quality is top notch, fit is perfect. The hardware is high quality and the construction is robust. There are plenty of pockets to hold your stuff. The liner is warm, easy to install, and the neck gaiter is a nice touch. The body armor is of the highest quality(more on this later). The jacket also came with three free leather care products.

After Riding around 600 miles in my jacket- The jacket has continued to impress me. It is warm on cool days, and the venting is very effective at moving a lot of air past your body even on hot days. I have ridden a few days where there was a 50 degree temp. swing and the Grayson adapted to both extremes. I have been caught in two MAJOR rain storms while wearing the jacket. The first one soaked through the leather almost instantly...so I would advise folks to treat their leather with the provided waterproofing wax that comes with the jacket. The next shower took MUCH longer to get through the leather after I had applied the wax. Despite two complete soakings, the leather has remained soft and supple and did not bleed any color.

Concerns- There are only two issues I've had with this jacket. First, the sleeve zips do not close the cuffs enough to provide a good tight seal around my wrists, so cold air can go right up my arms. Second, while the body armor quality is top notch, Fox creek has decided to use the same pad for the elbows and shoulders which causes some odd shifting of the elbow pads(smaller armor pouches may fix this). The special pads are available and every other jacket I've owned had location specific armor- which I believe would be more protective. The back pad, however, is perfect.

In conclusion, aside from the two problems outlined above, I have been very pleased with this purchase. The quality and fit are great, and I can't say enough about the customer service. Add in a lifetime warranty for a USA made product and I don't see how you can go wrong!

After my previous riding jacket (purchased from the manufacturer of my bike--oink)disintegrated, I obviously needed a new jacket. I ride hard, year round. In Michigan, this means rain, snow, sub-zero winters, and blistering summers.

I have to admit that while I knew of the quality of the Fox Creek leather products, I was somewhat leery of purchasing custom clothing over the Internet. I read through the Fox Creek website, and many of the testimonials, and decided to go for it. Unfortunately, I missed the little bit about ordering up one size in jackets! This was totally my fault.

I decided that the jacket was just too small, and called to get a RMA. My call was answered on the second ring (right there a sign of a good business...anyone who answers on the first ring is too desperate; if it rings more than twice, then customer service is not a priority!) by an ACTUAL PERSON who spoke AMERICAN ENGLISH! Rarely have I been so impressed when dealing with a company in another state. The gal who answered was extremely helpful, explained that a RMA was not necessary, went to the trouble to make sure that the correct size was in stock, and overnighted it to me. All at no additional charge! Even more impressive, there was none of this crap about "placing a hold on your credit card until the original jacket arrives here," or worse, "send us the jacket, and when it gets here, we will send out a new one." There are hundreds of companies out there (especially computer companies I won't name, although one of the worst rhymes with Hell) that could take some major customer service lessons from Fox Creek. The new jacket fits like a custom garment should...like it was built on me. I absolutely adore the supple yet thick and strong leather y'all use. The quality of your riding gear won you a customer, your service won you a lifelong supporter! I will definitely purchase all my leather from Fox Creek.

Thanks again for such a wonderful product and exemplary customer service!

Above and beyond my expectations

Recently, in early May, I had toured to Virginia for a one week holiday but more specifically, to visit Fox Creek Leather. I loved the setting of the store just North of Independence. The ride on the winding road-way out from the Grayson motel on the South-East edge of town to Fox Creek Leather was picture book peaceful. Arriving at the store I was greeted with the hospitality that I came to experience repeatedly wherever I went that week. A tour of the store room and office revealed a well organized yet hassle free operation. No pressure to buy anything. The ladies didn't need to - any product offered there sells itself. Touch any of the products and you know that this is a product that is in a class of it's own. But oh the jackets!!! I had always wished I could one day own the Vented Reflector Jacket. I wanted a jacket that had some reflective qualities and once I saw this jacket - I knew. And then I tried it on. I struggled to stay calm and focus and think this through. My, how it looked, the weight, the touch, the way it fit, and the smell of good leather! This was the one. I had looked at the jacket many times on the web site. Was I thankful to have made the trip. Oh yea! I wore that jacket home in rather warm weather, 27 Celsius. With two chest vents, two arm-pit vents and the two back vents, all opened, I could feel the wind swirling from front to back cooling me. I felt secure knowing this jacket was capable of doing its job of providing protection, anticipated or otherwise. With the reflective piping both front and back, drivers that I've talked to say, "Yes - I can see you. The reflective lines are bright." I have continued to wear the jacket every time I ride. I ride every day as my bike is my sole means of transport. I therefore have engaged all types of weather since Independence. No snow, yet, but lots of rain, wind, cool air and heat. This is an all-weather layer of classy, stylish, well engineered protection. It's a work of art!

I Wish To Compliment Your Entire Staff

Dear Sirs,

What is this world coming to? As I returned home yesterday I found a package awaiting me on my back porch. As I moved the package to the house I noted the weight of the package and began to wonder, could it be my jacket? Being much heavier than I had expected, I figured your staff must have done an excellent job packaging. Opening the box, much to my surprise, inside was nothing but the jacket.

For a year and a half now, since having my "Brooks" Jacket of 17 years stolen, I have searched from Chillicothe, OH, to Sturgis,SD. Daytona FL. to Milwaukee ,WI. for a comparable replacement only to find cheap Chinese, Indonesian or Korean or even Pakistani imitations. As you well know American made leather products are becoming increasingly hard to find, especially of this quality!

I wish to compliment your entire staff on your speedy service as well as accurate descriptions of your products "on-line". I will be contacting you in the very near future for a second jacket, as it was very hard to decide on the one model. And in the future you can count on me as a "sales representative" for your products!

Thank you again for your great service, incomparable product, and service to the American biker and our way of life!!!

I couldn’t be happier with this jacket,..

Read Justin's crash testimonial with pictures of his jacket post-crash.

I couldn’t be happier with this jacket, and I have recommended it to everyone I have met who is in the market. The leather is obviously of a higher quality (in feel, appearance, and thickness) than any that I have seen at bike shops. And the construction (design, stitching, attention to detail, etc.) is top notch.

Not only is this a great looking/feeling jacket, but it is an exceptional piece of tested safety equipment; eight hours after getting the right size in the mail, I had a one in a million accident while wearing it, and there is no doubt in my mind that it saved my arm. I dropped my bike on the expressway after hitting an overpass at sixty miles per hour. My helmet and right shoulder took the brunt of the initial impact, after which, I slid for about 150 feet on my right arm/shoulder into a concrete median. Once I finally stopped sliding, the only injury I sustained was a little road rash on my right knee. The bike was in pieces all over the highway, but the jacket was still in one piece, and had kept my arm form being both ripped off at the shoulder and ground down to a stump. The damage to the jacket was mostly cosmetic, as the thick leather and reinforced elbow/shoulder panels were sufficient to keep the road (even at that speed and length of slide) from grinding through. There is no doubt in my mind that without this jacket I would have lost my arm.

After the accident, intent on riding, I contacted Fox Creek Leather about repairing my jacket. Not only were they genuinely concerned about the accident, they were extremely helpful in expediting the repair and return of their product. Fox Creek Leather’s customer service leaves absolutely nothing to be desired. Initially, it took me the return of four jackets to get my perfect fit (I’m 6’3” tall and 230lbs.), and each time, they were very understanding, helpful, and fast to ship, making the whole process easy and hassle free. If in the market for a riding jacket, especially if it is to be a safety item, I can’t speak highly enough of Fox Creek Leather, they’re as good as it gets.

Everything I had hoped for and then some.

The quality of this jacket has exceeded my expectations. I knew the jacket would be good from what I had read about it but I was even more impressed when I received it. The Commander is very solidly constructed and has a nice heavy weight when you pick it up. The fit is comfortable and perfect and of course it looks awesome. It's everything you want a riding jacket to be.

One thing I was pleasantly surprised to see that I couldn't find on the website is a provision for armor. In the mesh lining of the jacket there are pockets sewn in for shoulder, elbow and back armor with Velcro closings. So although they don't sell armored jackets, you can pick some armor up from your local bike shop and just throw it into the jacket.

I highly recommend the Commander or any other Fox Creek leathers to anybody looking for the best riding gear out there at the best price. I also bought a vest and will be looking at replacing my cheap chaps I bought from a "quality" leather shop here in Calgary.

Thanks Fox Creek for top quality products, excellent prices and great customer service.

Christmas Come Early

Jerry Starbuck

"Christmas came early when I opened the box from Fox Creek Leather. Putting on the Vented Racing Jacket the first time felt amazing. Much heavier than expected. Undoubtedly the Jacket is the finest article of clothing I have ever worn. The craftsmanship of the stitching, heavy brass zippers, thick leather, and most importantly the fit is of the highest quality. Knowing it was made in Virginia (my home state) made me proud. This is not some mass-produced imitation from China. This is the real thing! The conservative, under-stated style makes the Jacket perfect for any occasion including work. I've found women invariably want to touch the soft leather and offer compliments. One young store clerk at the Mall said, "Dude... that's awesome, where did you get it?" I'm still smiling. The best choice I've made since buying my motorcycle. Thank you Fox Creek!"

Comfort and Protection

During vacation I took a ride to Fox Creek Leather to purchase a new AMERICAN made leather jacket. I tried on a variety of jackets and settled on the lightweight summer jacket. It fits me like a glove and even in 90+ degree heat while touring in Virginia and North Carolina I was cool as can be and best of all protected as well.

Click for larger image

There is no "break-in" period necessary as the leather is soft and supple. Even though this jacket is called "lightweight" it still has some heft to it. As I ride down the highways of this great nation I see lots of bikers wearing little or no protection and I shake my head. This jacket allows you to ride in comfort yet be protected at the same time during those hot summer days.

If at all possible take a ride to Fox Creek Leather. The ride through the Blue Ridge Mountains is great and the girls at the shop allow you to try on everything they have before making you purchase. You won't be disappointed.

Quality Leather Gear, Made in the USA

\"Randy

When I purchased my first Harley-Davidson three years ago, I knew I wanted to have some classic-looking, quality, comfortable leathers to complete the package. After looking at everything my local H-D dealership had in-stock, I came to the conclusion that a good set of leathers would have to be from Pakistan and cost upwards of $750- boy was I discouraged.

After two years of searching countless websites, leather stores, and motorcycle shows, I all but gave up on finding what I was looking for. I purchased a 2005 H-D Road King Classic this spring and knew that I had to find my leathers in order to tour in style- and safety.

After searching many websites, I came across the Fox Creek Leather site and began to look through the styles available. Was I ever excited to find the classic look that I wanted in the “Classic II” jacket and matching chaps?!

An even better surprise was when I read that ALL of your products are made in the USA, have a lifetime warranty and cost half as much as those leathers made in third-world countries!

I have received many compliments from fellow riders who notice the quality construction and great look. I have ridden over 12k miles this season- most with my Fox Creek Leathers keeping me company. In fact, I enjoyed my jacket and chaps so much that I bought my wife the ladies “Classic II” for Mother\'s Day- she loves it and wears it both while on the back of our bike and just around town! Free shipping is a great value-added benefit of doing business with Fox Creek Leather- keep up the great work and quality products!

Best set of leathers I've ever had

Sonny Roberts wearing a Fox Creek Classic I Motorcycle Jacket

Brothers and Sisters, when we find something good hopefully we will share the wealth with others. I've had leathers (jacket and chaps) tailor made in Korea where I selected the leather and inspected for quality prior to purchase. I thought that they were the best available for the price anywhere. Was I in for a surprise!

I'm here to tell you that I have found a place that has exceeded all my expectations for quality and customer service. Hang in here it gets better! They are actually "American Made"!! Are you sitting down? They are "guaranteed for life"!

I have no vested interest only want to share my good fortune with all Bikers far and wide! My jacket and chaps had to be custom ordered and I am extremely pleased with my jacket. The chaps are on backorder because Lisa went the extra mile to ensure a proper fit.

Thanks Fox Creek. You have exceeded my expectations!!

I am speechless!!

I got my jacket last night and wore it to our Steakhouse in Corning and I am Speechless..... According to my wife it's the first time ever.

The box didn't appear to be very heavy until I started to remove the jacket and I swear it gained 15 lbs after it came out of the box.

When I got it unwrapped and laid on the counter all I could do was look at it. The Commander is everything I have always wanted.

The look, the feel, the weight, the style, the functionality, the map pocket, the lanyard, the vents. Everything is just like you said, and I am dumbfounded.

The smell of the leather is killer as well. I have not experienced any color running or anything even close.

The Fox Creek Commander is quite simply "THE BEST". I've only worn it one night and this morning, and several women already have had their hands all over it, the jacket, not me.

This jacket is built to last and protect you, it has amour slots, however I don't think you would need any amour with the Fox Creek Commander. The leather is THICK and HEAVY and I LOVE it.

I was very warm this morning riding in to work. I did not require the liner, I pulled that out first and probably won't need until Winter. The remaining liner works great with the mesh so air can flow through. The map pocket is perfect, the right size and the right accessibility with a snap top entry, a zipper to the vents(very cool) and a Velcro strip as well, comes in handy for quick closure to keep anything from flying out while riding, then you can either Velcro or zip it closed or leave it zipped down for venting. Inside the map pocket you have several pockets for just about anything you want to carry. The lanyard is strong and durable with a quality "clip", what ever you clip to this will not fly away. There are two inside pockets right on the zipper on the right and left sides. One side snaps and the other side zips. The left side with the snap is accessible without having to unzip the jacket all the way, very cool for that pesky cell phone if you don't want it in the map pocket. Both pockets are DEEP. I don't know why you wouldn't wear this in a knife fight, it would give you plenty of protection that's for sure. Even though the warranty doesn't cover knife fight damage, you can bet money that I will be wearing my Fox Creek Commander jacket in MY next knife fight!

Dual-Purpose Bomber Jacket

Click for larger image

I am extremely pleased with the quality and fit of this bomber jacket. I had it delivered to a friend in Washington DC when over on a work trip and then actually tried it out for the first time on a friend's SV650 Suzuki in Dallas. Now back in Australia in our winter, I have also enjoyed using it with the liner. I got the size very slightly wrong in the chest (a little tight) but on the bike it fits well.

I cannot really adequately describe the high quality of the leather. It's creamy in texture, so supple and smooth. The inner perforated zip closure worked really well in the Dallas heat. The bomber style means I can happily wear it for other occasions. I recommend Fox Creek Leathers as a quality supplier.

Commander

Click for larger image

Now that I have had time to ride with the Commander jacket several times, I want to give you a review for the testimonial section. I searched and read reviews on-line for a long while about quality motorcycle jackets and one company name kept coming up more than any other. My overall feeling is very positive: both satisfaction with the purchase and service from the company. I was very pleased to be able to find an American-made jacket of high quality at what I feel is a very competitive price. Mail-order can be a risky venture on something as important as personal riding gear. But my experience mirrors what most people have said about Fox Creek in other reviews. They are honest, helpful folks. Call them and you won't be talking to a call center in the third world.

Pros: Dealing with a company with good customer satisfaction history. Lifetime guarantee covers the workmanship and materials as long as you own it. Thick but soft leather, cut for good freedom of movement in the arms and shoulders, no chaffing or binding. The heavy feeling of the jacket disappears when you sit on the bike. It is a motorcycle jacket, not a hiking jacket. The benefit of all that weight is enhanced safety. Company fitting recommendations were pretty accurate. At 5'10" and 200 lbs I wear a 48 sport coat and ordered a size 50 jacket. Good fit. Warm, I have been riding in 45 degree 50 minute commutes without the liner and only my legs get cold (chaps next I guess). I also wore it this weekend in the 70 degree range with the back vents open and was very comfortable. I am sold on the vents! Do not buy a leather jacket without them. The chest pocket must have been designed by someone influenced by the Swiss Army Knife people. It easily holds a long fold highway map, compass, your Browning, and the Lord knows what else. Last but not least, it is good looking. I also bought a pair of the Deer Tours gloves and can recommend them.

Cons: HARD TO CHOOSE between so many excellent products. I had also considered the Classic II. I picked the Commander for it's features and style. The Commander is a longer jacket than I would prefer for my average torso length. Longer than the Classic II or a typical flight jacket. I would prefer this style an inch or two shorter. The bottom of the jacket rests on my thighs when seated, noticeably at first. But now that I have worn it a few times, it is breaking in and getting more comfortable all the time. This is an armor-ready jacket (one reason I picked this one), but at this time, there is no armor offered through Fox Creek. They are researching this. I really want to add the panels. It would be great if Fox Creek had the proper fitting pieces of armor on hand. I am sure they will one day. I will keep checking the web site.

Premo Jacket!

Tim Hickman wearing his Fox Creek Leather Classic II

The Jacket is premo! It fits great and is in my opinion a bargain price for the superior features and weight of the leather utilized. It weighs a ton in hand but the leather is so supple that it feels like an old friend once you wear it.

I picked up my 2004 Road Glide the same day I got the Jacket and put 150 miles on it the following day. I wore a long sleeve shirt under the jacket and rode several hours in 44 degree Montana sunshine and the only thing that even got remotely chilled were my hands and legs. Guess I'll be hitting you for chaps in the near future.

I just had to says thanks for a GREAT American made product. It goes well with my other American made product. Go all the way with USA!!!!

Construction, fit, and appearance you cant beat

Just received my Reflector jacket and Thinsulated gloves. As someone else here said, you get what you pay for, only mine was on sale so I got more than I paid for!

After ooohs and ahhhs from the wife and kids, I passed it to my 9 year old daughter and warned her about its weight. It took her to the floor!! Only a size 46. Zip out liner, built in neck warmer, sturdy easy moving zips and well-placed venting.

This design readily accepts medium sized embroidered patches on the back and arms. I'm going to send in a photo within a month.

Buy now, and enjoy the quality and protection.

IT IS AWESOME!

Taken from Vic's post on www.sportster.org.
See original post.

Since Colorado Jeff mentioned his new jacket, I thought I'd do the same. A while ago, I asked the list if anyone had any experience with Fox Creek Leather products. A few people responded positively, nobody negatively. I finally got around to ordering a jacket, and it arrived last week. I have to tell you, IT IS AWESOME! The weight, thickness of leather, and quality of workmanship and detail look to me to be about the same level as Vanson, but at about 1/2 the price.

The jacket I got is a classic biker style jacket. It has both a removable thermal liner and zippered vents, front and back, to make it extremely versatile. It is similar to, but seems to be of higher quality than, the H-D El Camino jacket, at about $100. less than the H-D. You can get their products in a wide variety of colors and finishes. I got basic black. A nice plus is that it is made right here in the good old US of A. And at about $300, it is a bargain and better quality than I have seen at just about any price. Also, customer service and responsiveness are excellent.

Of course, how it holds up over time will be the real test, but right now it looks like a definite winner. No affiliation, yadda yadda yadda.

Take care, and stay vertical,

Great Jacket, worth ever penny, fits like a glove!

Fox Creek is the BEST leather company I have ever known. I have been riding bikes for over 30 years. I have purchased leather jackets from at least 10 different manufactures over the years. NONE have ever been as nice as the Fox Creek Classic II. Check the label on your current jacket; you will be surprised that most motorcycle jackets are really made in China. NOT Fox Creek, they make their own jackets, and they do not scrimp on quality. The great thing is that you get top quality at a GREAT price. Yes it is 400 bucks, but it is well worth it, in this case you get what you pay for.

My son bought a Classic and he raved about it. I had never heard of Fox Creek, so I went online and checked it out, I read other testimonials, I though "sure it will be good, but compared to the jackets I already own, how good can it be?"

When it arrived I KNEW I had made a good choice. What a difference compared to the other high quality jackets I own, the Fox Creek jacket is FAR superior, in finish, fit, styling, fasteners, quality and thickness of the leather. Lots of vents, great zippers and oh that leather is SOOOO Nice. The seams, the zippers and the fasteners are top quality, tough stuff, they will outlast me. Fox Creek, you should be PROUD of your company and your merchandise.

I am currently living in the Middle East; in the desert the weather can change here from cold in the morning to hot by 10:00 AM. The Classic II is ideal, it fits like a glove, so when it is cold you can zip it up snug, and as the temperature warms up you just open up the vents. Other jackets look good, but do not perform. The Classic II was obviously designed by a biker for a biker, while maintaining good solid looks.

To top off great quality, Fox Creek customer service is the best I have experienced in a LONG LONG time. Real people, not machines or off shore call centers. 1st class. They were friendly, totally professional and knew all their products. I wish other online bike shops were as good. Living outside the US, I was concerned about the fit, returning the jacket was not an option. A call to Fox Creek customer service helped determine the right size and the jacket fits like a glove. Thank you so much.

I could not be happier.

Once Again Fox Creek Comes Through

I have been looking for a vented cordura jacket for a couple of years now finding nothing that I even remotely liked.

I am glad that I waited. Fox Creek's newest offering fit the bill. I received my jacket this past Friday 3-11-11 and was lucky enough to catch a beautiful early spring Saturday to try out my new jacket. It performed great. Riding conditions were sunny and mid 50s so I kept the liner in and stayed warm the whole time that I was out riding.

I am 6'2" and 215 lbs. and the 48L fit and cut was spot on. As expected with all the products that I have purchased from FC the quality is impeccable and I would recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a cool to warm weather riding jacket.

Thanks to Ashley at Fox Creek for her help in sizing my jacket.

Bomber Coat fantastic purchase!

I have wanted a coat of this quality for most of my 63 years. Color me a freak but I can spot a truly great leather coat from a "wanna-be" leather coat from across the room!

After hearing of Fox Creek's reputation on some biker forums I wasn't afraid to send them a sizable chunk of money for my coat. When it came in I laid it out on the dining room table for a nearly microscopic inspection. I could find no fault with it. Every stitch, zipper and pocket were just perfect. I have the middle age spread thing going for me and the lady who sized me over the phone hit my size perfect the first time out.

Thanks Fox Creek for a tremendous product and service. Needless to say, I'll be keeping my coat. In fact I may even get some off-season use out of it!

Great Jacket!!

I received my Commander Jacket and DeerTours Gloves two days ago and was very impressed with the quality of both. I have worn the jacket with the liner in 40 degree weather at 4:00 in the morning and without the liner in the afternoon in 70 degree weather and was pleased that I was not cold or hot. The ventilation system is great! Although I have not purchased it yet, I am excited that this jacket has provision for armour. I was also impressed with the fast shipping. Two days! Thanks for a great quality jacket made here in the U.S. I will definitely be back for more!

My Classic Jacket

I have owned my jacket for about a year now and couldn’t be more happy. The leather is very soft and pliable for being so thick it's amazing. The leather is wearing very well and still looks new. The zippers are smooth and strong and the vents are great for adjusting to varying temperatures on a ride. With the liner in the jacket it’s very warm for winter rides. There is no wind leakage on any zipper. What more can you ask for? I have not seen another jacket that can even come close to the quality and comfort of this jacket. You can’t go wrong with Fox Creek.

Awsome

I was in the market for a new leather jacket, the zipper on my old one, the "Legend", finally gave out after 20 some years. It must have shrunk a little too during that time.

I checked the few local shops in central NY, HD jackets are nice but not on a Valkyrie. I was bound and determined not to buy sight unseen from the internet, but I used the tool to look up different styles. The Grayson was everything I was looking for in a jacket. I knew right away, there were plenty of close up images on the website showing the attributes.

If I was going to spend the money I knew it would have to be built with the features I wanted. I bit the bullet and bought online, seeing that Fox Creek Leather had a lot of positive reviews on customer service, and it shipped within a few days. The Grayson is a great jacket. It was everything I hoped for as described in the website. Great fit and quality leather, you can't ask for anything more.
