Recently, in early May, I had toured to Virginia for a one week holiday but more specifically, to visit Fox Creek Leather. I loved the setting of the store just North of Independence. The ride on the winding road-way out from the Grayson motel on the South-East edge of town to Fox Creek Leather was picture book peaceful. Arriving at the store I was greeted with the hospitality that I came to experience repeatedly wherever I went that week. A tour of the store room and office revealed a well organized yet hassle free operation. No pressure to buy anything. The ladies didn't need to - any product offered there sells itself. Touch any of the products and you know that this is a product that is in a class of it's own. But oh the jackets!!! I had always wished I could one day own the Vented Reflector Jacket. I wanted a jacket that had some reflective qualities and once I saw this jacket - I knew. And then I tried it on. I struggled to stay calm and focus and think this through. My, how it looked, the weight, the touch, the way it fit, and the smell of good leather! This was the one. I had looked at the jacket many times on the web site. Was I thankful to have made the trip. Oh yea! I wore that jacket home in rather warm weather, 27 Celsius. With two chest vents, two arm-pit vents and the two back vents, all opened, I could feel the wind swirling from front to back cooling me. I felt secure knowing this jacket was capable of doing its job of providing protection, anticipated or otherwise. With the reflective piping both front and back, drivers that I've talked to say, "Yes - I can see you. The reflective lines are bright." I have continued to wear the jacket every time I ride. I ride every day as my bike is my sole means of transport. I therefore have engaged all types of weather since Independence. No snow, yet, but lots of rain, wind, cool air and heat. This is an all-weather layer of classy, stylish, well engineered protection. It's a work of art!

Just received my Reflector jacket and Thinsulated gloves. As someone else here said, you get what you pay for, only mine was on sale so I got more than I paid for!
After ooohs and ahhhs from the wife and kids, I passed it to my 9 year old daughter and warned her about its weight. It took her to the floor!! Only a size 46. Zip out liner, built in neck warmer, sturdy easy moving zips and well-placed venting.
This design readily accepts medium sized embroidered patches on the back and arms. I'm going to send in a photo within a month.
Buy now, and enjoy the quality and protection.

I had looked for the right jacket for about 6 months. I searched the local bike shops and apparel stores and everything seemed like the same old same old.
Too much money for the low quality leather and look. I then expanded my search to the internet and after about 10 or so days of searching from site to site I kept returning to the Vented Reflector Motorcycle Jacket at Fox Creek.
After reading the reviews I decided it was the one I needed to get. I ordered online on a Sunday and received an email the next day asking me to give them a call. When I did and it was suggested because of my height (6'1") I might want to purchase the 48 long. After a friendly conversation I settled with the suggestion. One week later I received the jacket, took it out of the box and wow! It was the best jacket I had seen in 6 months. The quality is unbelievable and the leather is first rate from the feel, smell and look.
You get what you pay for in this jacket. My suggestion to who ever is on the fence, paying the price for the Vented Reflector jacket is that you won't be disappointed and you don't need to worry about another jacket for a long time if ever.
In addition it's MADE IN THE USA! Well done Fox Creek!

I just wanted to send you a quick note to say I really like my Vented Reflector Jacket. I just came back from my first ride of the Spring and had a great time. The jacket worked very well. I was almost too warm with the liner in it and it is currently 63 degrees here in PA. One of the guys I work with who rides was very impressed with the quality of the leather and stitch work. Another guy asked me what did I put on my leather coat to make it so soft. He was impressed when I told him it came that way. As per a lot of your other customers, I was worried it wouldn't fit properly just by doing measurements at home and sending them in, but you guys definitely know what you are doing! I'll recommend you all my riding friends! I attached a pic for you as requested.

I bought one of the reflective vented jackets about 2 or 3 years ago. When I got the jacket in it didn't fit well at all. When I called them, they told me to return it, along with the form included with it, and they would make one custom to my size (the form had places for all the measurements which made it really easy to do. Not wanting to mess anything up, I took the form to a local seamstress in town, and had her do all the measuring on me. After sending the jacket back along with the form, I waited slightly less than 2 months (which is an amazing time for a custom garment) I got my custom made jacket. When I put it on, it was amazing! I'm basically short and fat, so most jackets don't really fit me, but this custom made one fit like a glove, with one slight problem. The problem was the fault of the seamstress that took my measurements, the sleeves fit perfectly for a street jacket, but were between 2-3" short when in a riding position. It actually worked out very well, as when the weather is hot, it helps with ventilation, and in cold weather I just wear gloves with a longer gauntlet. I'm sure if I had contacted the folks at Fox Creek they would have fixed the problem, but after deciding that it wasn't really a problem at all I didn't bother to contact them.
My family has been in the leather working machinery business for over 50 years, and every time my father sees this jacket, he's still amazed at the quality of the leather, saying he's never seen such fine quality leather other than in $1000+ custom made leather coats. When I tell him what I paid for it, he doesn't believe me!
I do have one suggestion for the fine folks at Fox Creek. Most motorcycle jackets, theirs included are usually tapered, with a larger chest size than stomach size, which is one reason I needed a custom jacket (I think they called it a reverse size jacket) where the chest is a 46, but the stomach is a 48. They also shortened the sleeves, and the overall length of the jacket, and as I said it fits me great. The jacket is labeled as being a size 46, with no mention of it being custom tailored. Well, a couple of weeks ago a friend of mine saw that I had a Fox Creek jacket, and seeing that it was a 46 the same size he wears, he tried it on, and was upset right away because it fit him so badly, until I explained that it was custom tailored for me. I would suggest that when Fox Creek makes a custom sized jacket that they should add a label saying either "Custom Tailored for John Doe" or just "Custom Tailored - Not a standard fit" or something along those lines.

I've been wearing my Vented Reflector Jacket for a week now and everyone I show it to is very impressed. When I hand it to them to feel the weight they know it's a real leather jacket, not some cheap import that won't last more than a year or two.
Living in Fairbanks, Alaska, our winters are on the cold side and the full length lining makes a difference. I wear this jacket and liner over a sweatshirt and it keeps me plenty warm down to -20. (Of course that's not on a motorcycle, just walking around.) It's dark here most of the winter so the reflector is a good idea, too. Also, I like having the two deep inside pockets. I couldn't ask for a better fit.
It's true, you get what you pay for.

If there were only one word I could use to describe this jacket, it would be WOW!!!
Hands down, it is by far the finest leather jacket I have ever seen and/or worn. The smell and feel of the leather, the weight of the jacket, all speak volumes as to its workmanship. I actually love this jacket so much that it became my winter coat this year. Let me just say that during a wicked nasty cold spell where wind chills were in the -20°F-30°F range...it was simply bitter out. With the jacket zipped up the only thing that was cold was my ears. If your vents are up you don't feel leaks period. To me it is warmer than some of the really expensive winter coats/parkas I've seen before. In like manner I've worn it when it was 80°F+ and with vents open the circulation was excellent and I wasn't overly heated!
After feeling my jacket, my wife rests a bit easier when I'm out riding knowing that I've got the very best safety gear on. Do yourself a favor, if you're looking for a quality jacket that will last, Fox Creek Leather is the place to find it. I just submitted my order today for the zippered vest and will now have a jacket, chaps, and vest from Fox Creek...trust me it is worth every cent!!!

After searching for many years and owning many jackets I stumbled across a Fox Creek Leather review on the Internet, after reading all the reviews I decided to drop a line about a jacket, astonishingly it was answered the same day from the other side of the world. So I thought maybe the reviews are correct. Once I placed my order, e mail verifications and track and trace details were e mailed to me within 30 minutes "WHAT" I hear you say, I kid you not the service borders on unbelievable.
Now the jacket, this is by far the best quality, fit and made jacket I have seen and owned. First test ride was at 2 degrees c with a wind chill of about minus 10, stunned I was as to how comfortable I was, this jacket out performs the harley fxrg by a long shot, I know I just sold mine. Not only that they are cheaper and made in the USA. simply put...THE BEST BY FAR.
Thanks to Fox Creek I don't have to buy another jacket !!!!!

After doing much research and reading testimonials on various web sites, I decided to place my order via the internet. I ordered the Vented Reflector Jacket from the big and tall sections. I placed this order on Oct.25th, the next day I received a phone call from Ashley of Fox Creek. Ashley asked some questions regarding my measurements, and suggested a larger size than the one I ordered. I was a little apprehensive going with the larger size, thinking it will be too large. Ashley assured me that, if there were any problems upon arrival, I could send it back for another size. Knowing that they are the experts in their field, I agreed to Ashley's recommendation. Living here in Canada, I am used to waiting several weeks for packages to arrive from the USA. On Nov.1st, I received my Vented Reflector Jacket....WOW!!! I quickly opened the box and put on the jacket, it fit like a glove! I could have sworn that this jacket was tailor made to me! Thank you Ashley, for recommending the larger size!! I could not believe the weight of the jacket, which in my opinion, is a good indicator of the quality. The quality and craftsmanship is far superior than, any previous bike jackets that I have had.
I decided to put the jacket to the test and go for a ride. Here in Canada, it was a cold morning at 32 degrees, as I reached highway speed the jacket was keeping me warm and the neck warmer (awesome idea) provided me with that extra warmth!! I decided to ride to Niagara Falls and did so without my upper body being cold at all!! I highly recommend Fox Creek Leather! From customer service to end product, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Fox Creek, for selling me an outstanding jacket, I look forward to years of great use. I will be recommending Fox Creek to all my riding friends!

I am currently serving in Iraq and came home on vacation to purchase an HD FLSTF Fat Boy. I have never owned leather before and did quite a bit of research before deciding to go with Fox Creek. That decision was the best I could have made (and you should make it, too!).
I knew I needed leather that would function first and foremost in the event of a spill. This top quality leather jacket is heavy, thick and would absolutely take care of me if I need it. I knew right out of the box that it would perform.
Its' reflective piping works great at sundown, sunup and night. The vents are generous and work very well. I wore this jacket in the middle of July in North Carolina and was comfortable and cool the whole ride. And to top it off, the jacket is fashionable. It fits perfectly. The sleeve length is perfect when my arms are forward on the controls. There is nothing I could complain about. I can't forget to mention Fox Creek's superb customer service. I received prompt and very courteous replies when I inquired about the shipping time line since I only had a few weeks on vacation. When I return from Iraq in December I plan on buying some chaps from Fox Creek. I wouldn't shop anywhere else! Thanks Fox Creek!
