This heavy-duty leather windshield bag is 5" tall x 10" long x 3" deep. The cover is trimmed with black piping and fastens with a metal clasp. It mounts to your windshield with a 2" long, 1" wide bracket with raised horizontal edges to form a groove. The bracket is riveted to a 9" metal plate running the length of the bag's interior. Mounting hole in the center is 1/4".
Based on customer feedback, we know the windshield bag does not work with VStar Touring Windshields, Rifle Windshields or Nostalgic King Size Windshields. We are not aware of any others. Any feedback is appreciated.
All windshield bags are made in the USA from oil infused 8-10oz Latigo* Leather. Bag may not be compatible with some pre-curved windshields.

I first purchased the tool bag for my 06 Wide Glide. After I got it, even though it was well made and way better than anything else I looked at, I did not care for the way it looked on the bike. Called FCL and inquired about the windshield bag and matching it with the detach windshield. I was told to keep the tool bag, order the windshield bag and if I did not like that or it didn't fit, to send them both back together, no problem. The windshield bag does fit perfectly and I can't say enough good things about the quality of the products and the service with FCL. Don't buy leather goods anyplace else.

Excellent bag in every way, top shelf quality. Mounted on the Road King windshield in about 2 minutes, no hardware or modification required.

I received my windshield bag promptly and the quality of the product was exceptional. I am a repeat customer and never have been disappointed. The bag has a center mount but I have no center bolt on the windshield, so I had to create a bracket to hold it in place(I knew this before ordering). Here is a picture of the bag in place using the bracket I created. I hope the picture shows how good it looks.

Again, FCL gave me a HIGH quality product. (my Classic II leather jacket was the first) The windshield bag mounted in minutes and looks great on my Heritage Softail. I liked this bag more that an OEI part and I look forward to my next purchase from these guys!

The day I got it, on the Bike (2004 Softail Heritage Classic) windshield it went. We are talking about a really fine piece of goods here. First the mounting Bracket makes mounting a snap. Secondly the design with the Rain flaps on the sides and the nice Chrome latching mechanism works very well. The size is just right for your STUFF making it really handy, as you really do not have much storage space on the bike. The Leather (Oh that wonderful smell) is really of top quality. The fit and finish and sewing is beautiful. And in comparison to what all the other manufacturers charge this BAG IS A BARGAIN. Now if I can only talk my wife into the purchase of Braided Buffalo Nickel Vests!

The quality of this bag is very good, however when mounted on my Sportster it conflicted with the speedometer and tach. It mounted very well in front of the license plate and it looks good and is useful there as well.

I recently purchased and installed the Windshield Bag on my 2004 Fat Boy windshield with no problem and with the OEM hardware that is on the bike. That may seem to be a minor matter, but this is the second bag I have tried, the first one I bought from a local vendor and the existing windshield bolt was too short to mount the bag on. Try to find a 12-24 X 1 inch long chrome plated torx head bolt to replace the 5/8.

I have had my Fox Creek windshield bag for some time now and I must say I love it. It fit perfectly, easy installation, quite a bit of room, rain flaps are a nice touch, excellent quality and looks great on my 2006 VStar 1100 Classic. Thanks once again for a superb product. Windshield bag 2009-06-17

I ordered this bag for my Honda VTX /National Cycle 2-UP Switchblade windshield. It doesn't have a center hole on the windshield so I just measured where the 2 most center holes are on the windshield and made two holes in the bag so the bracket on the bag fits over the horizontal chrome windshield bar and mounted this bag. Before I did this I "curved" the bag a little to the windshield curvature.
I did also add my own "lining" including a couple of vertical pockets, one to put my garage door opener in and the other to keep paperwork in.
Why did I get this from FCL? Because in the past I have numerous other products from FCL, and have always had outstanding customer service.
