PilloCushion™ Comfort
Select Oak and Black ICE™ styles feature a layer of non-memory foam that conforms to the foot for all day comfort through the toughest conditions. The PilloCushion™ footbed sits atop our Vitalize™ insole and polycarbonate shank, to give you lateral stability and additional cushion.
Gel-Cell™ Construction
Select Oak and Black ICE™ styles feature a removable DRYZ® footbed with a Gel-Cell insert in the heel. An additional Gel-Cell™ is inserted in our Vitalize™ Insole in the ball area. These two Gel-Cells™ give you extra shock absorption when walking and increase your overall comfort.
ICE™ Construction
Our ICE™ boots feature our patented AeroGlideTM 7 System Comfort that consists of a removable DRYZ® footbed for moisture control, a Vitalize™ orthobed, bio-corque for cushioning when walking, a polycarbonate shank for lateral stability, and our long-wearing ICE™ outsole that tackles tough terrain with ease.
How DRYZ® works:
- The fabric liner wicks away perspiration from the body and transports it to a layer of copolymer foam.
- Upon contact with perspiration, this "Smart Foam" absorbs and stores moisture away from the skin in a gel-like substance.
- DRYZ® also has special, patented odor killing agents called ReScent™ that destroy odor on contact, as well as additional ingredients that fight the gowth of fungi and odor causing bacteria.
- The gelled moisture dissipates continuously throughout the day and completely when the boot is removed.
Within hours, DRYZ® is fresh and ready to begin the process all over again the next time you wear your boots.
