Montana Pitch Blend Leather Soap gently suds away dirt and debris from your leather while protecting the natural oils and fat within the leather. Ideal for using on your motorcycle leathers prior to applying a waterproofing conditioner such as Montana Pitch Blend Leather Dressing. Can also be used on boots, shoes, saddles and tack, baseball mitts, knife sheathes, belts, gloves and other outdoor leather goods.
For best results, apply soap to a damp "natural hair" brush. (Soft hair is best for gentle application.) Gently swirl soapy brush into leather; add warm water to suds away dirt and debris. Rinse soapy brush with warm water and apply to leather until nearly rinsed. With a clean, lint-free cloth, wipe up excess suds until leather is free of soap. Let dry and apply Montana Pitch Blend Leather Dressing to nourish and preserve leather.
We recommend Montana Pitch Blend Leather Oil to anyone who wants to periodically care for their garment. If you plan on riding in the rain, you may wish to supplement your leather care with Montana Pitch Blend's Leather Dressing.
Montana Pitch Blend Leather Oil is 100% mink oil and pine pitch. Their product is not diluted with petroleum distillates or other oils. Proper leather care is integral to maintaining the beauty and quality of your Fox Creek garment over time.
Before you apply, make sure the leather is clean and dry. Apply with hand or soft cloth and work in well. Leather may be slightly tacky until product is absorbed. Buff briskly with lint-free cloth for faster absorption. For best result, store and use at room temperature.
Montana Pitch Blend Leather Dressing is unique blend of pine pitch, mink oil, and beeswax. Conditions and preserves leather while providing excellent water repellency. Can be used year-round in all climates. Contains no silicone or petroleum products.
Make sure the leather is clean and dry. Apply dressing with hand or soft cloth. Melt in with hair dryer or place in warm area until dressing is absorbed. (Note: excessive heat will damage leather.) Repeat with second coat. In extremely wet conditions, apply third light coat just before going out. Re-apply as necessary to keep your leathers water repellent and well conditioned.
Not for use on suede or fine leather such as lambskin.
