These bags are designed from the top down with convenience in mind. No fussing with buckles and straps - just press the quick-release clasps hidden behind the chromed buckle and you're into the bag. Toss them over your fender and you can quickly unsnap the chromed clasps, grab the built-in leather handles and take them with you.

I just installed the Quick Release Throwover bags on my '03 VTX 1800-C and they look great. I have the Kuryakyn License plate bracket #9256 so my rear signals are already further back than the stock signal placement, but I do not think that you would need to relocate the stock signals. The quick release works without any problems. I like that the bags have handles to make it easier to carry them once removed from the bike. I also bought the little furry pad that goes underneath the throwover to keep from scratching the paint on the fender. The seat (a Mustang seat) fit perfectly over both. Excellent quality! I really didn't want to put any saddle bags on my bike, but I have taken a few trips in which saddle bags would have come in handy. After looking at many different bags from different manufacturers I decided that these have the styling that would most get the look that I wanted. I did not need any brackets - as of yet, anyway. Plenty of room inside the bags. I am glad I bought them.
