I love my unlined Deer Skin Gloves 2006-05-25

I've had my gloves for almost 4 years. I bought them just prior to taking my MSF beginners course. These gloves are amazingly soft and still are...My only complaint is that if I sweat a lot, I get black cast on my hands... but it's about the protection and the comfort... These things are awesome!
I am presently on the search for a set of gloves for my wife... she's getting ready to take her MSF b/c and I think these would be the best thing for her...

I bought these gloves just before taking a refresher riding course in the Miami sun, after more than thirty years riding exclusively on four wheels. These gloves were so comfortable, there were times, I felt as if I had forgotten to put them on...
I was doubtful that a size small would stretch enough to be comfortable, but stretch it did.
As with all that I have purchased from Fox Creek, they arrived faster than I thought reasonable to expect and the quality was precisely as promised. Today, I just bought the same model unlined deerskin gauntlets for riding into the mountains of this island.

I have been a motorcop in Turlock, CA for almost a year now. We ride 10 hours a day, 4 days a week, 49 weeks a year. Our equipment gets ABUSED. I got these gloves about one month ago after going through 5 pairs from other manufacturers. This is my first deerskin pair and my first "all leather" pair. I will never wear anything else again. These are fantastic!! They formed to my hand within days. Incredibly comfortable for all day wear, thick enough to provide protection, but thin enough for me to write a ticket (I know, I know...grrrrr). I can search people with these gloves on and be able to feel the smallest item in a pocket. The other motorcops here are ordering theirs now too!! The quality is outstanding!! Keep up the great work!!

I ordered a pair of XL based on the size chart, when they arrived they were way to big. I called Fox Creek and we agreed a medium would be a better fit. They sent the new gloves out immediately and I had them 2 days later and they fit perfect. The gloves are very soft and I am looking forward to wearing them for a long time. Great customer service by Fox Creek.

Not my style, but... 2006-09-13

I don't care for the style of these gloves. The fingers are too short, as are the cuffs, and the elastic is not sufficient to give them a secure feeling.
On the other hand, I have been wearing them continuously for over a year in an attempt to wear them out and justify the purchase a some Lee Parks Deer Tours. I have worn them for thousands of miles, in every kind of weather (except extreme cold), and have even started using them as work gloves around the house. Except for fading to a gray-green on the back, these gloves show absolutely no sign of wear - the threads are all perfectly intact and the leather, itself, is just shiny and polished looking.

I did not even have to put these gloves on to know how great they were! When they arrived in the mail I was taken back by the quality of the deerskin and the fantastic construction quality of these gloves! I don't think these things will come apart in a 55mph skid across the pavement - lets hope one never finds out, but the peace of mind is there. The stitching and fit is great and the softness on the inside is wonderful! I did not think I would like gloves but now I can't see myself without them! Fox Creek Leather is the ONLY place for leather as far as I'm concerned. I'll be ordering a jacket soon. Great Job!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for your outstanding craftsmanship with these deer skin riding gloves. I bought these gloves (and the lined ones) for my best man as a gift for standing there with me. Needless to say he was thrilled with the gloves. Scott lives in the Rock Hill, S.C. area and always complained that the gloves he had just didn’t stand up to the rigors of riding or kept his hands warm; however, when he was wearing mechanics protective gloves there is not a doubt in my mind why that is. He had called me just to tell me how warm the unlined gloves were (45 degree weather) and he would have to wait to the dead of winter to see how the lined ones were. He has said that sharing the information of how pleased he is with others you may get more orders from his friends. You at Fox Creek have made a lifelong customer with me, Scott, and anyone else that will listen about the quality and craftsmanship you produce. Expect another order from me very soon for vests, gloves, and jackets.

Very nice gloves. Thicker leather than the gloves I have been wearing but still soft and pliable and easy to grip things. Sizes seem to run a bit large so I would send a trace of your hand with order. Thanks again for another great product.

I purchased my deerskin riding gloves after purchasing a vented racing jacket, chaps, and a braided Indian nickel vest, just because I was so impressed with all the other gear that I had purchased from Fox Creek Leather. As with all the other items, these gloves are absolutely the most comfortable gloves I have owned. I have worn them now, long enough for them to stretch and fit like a second skin. I plan to purchase a pair of lined gauntlets for the colder weather months, and will most definitely purchase them from Fox Creek Leather, the only place I will ever shop for leather.

I live in Bonny Scotland where the weather is not always so Bonny... These gloves are warm and always seem to stay dry. Add to the mix that they are so comfortable to wear, long or short haul, and look sooooo cool I'm not sure why anyone would buy anything else !
PS. I have ordered a lot of stuff from the States over the last year and Fox Creek were, without doubt, the fastest outfit to get my gear over to me.
PPS. The leather overpants are even better !!!
