Men's Classic Motorcycle Jackets are the most emotionally volatile and historically rich leather jackets we have. When I put one on I can't decide if I am going to ride a motorcycle, vandalize a town or give someone a ticket. Like any piece of great art it means different things to different people.
In 1953 at the age of seven, inspired by Marlon Brando in "The Wild One", I asked my parents if I could get a Men's Classic Motorcycle Jacket I. I did not understand the social implications of this leather motorcycle jacket. My mother looked at me like I had asked her if I could cannibalize my infant brother. She began to cry softly, ashamed that I was drawn to such evil.
I went on to become a small time juvenile delinquent and performed many reprehensible acts but none of them elicited the reaction this simple request did.
In addition to parental alienation, the leather jacket is well suited for motorcycle riding. It's cut extra long in the back with a padded kidney panel. Dual front and rear vents move the air easily through a mesh shell while an internal wind flap stops it cold at the zipper. A zip out full sleeve Thinsulate® liner completes the climate control package.
Side lacing enables you to contour the motorcycle jacket to your body and an inside snap pocket is set in the leather facing where it won't rip out. Leather is 1.4 to 1.6 mm soft, thick and supple with a dull luster.
The difference between the Men's Classic Motorcycle Jacket I and Men's Classic Motorcycle Jacket II is that the Men's Classic Motorcycle Jacket I has a watch pocket and breast pocket on the left side and a half belt in front. Outside of that they are the same leather jacket.
Here you can find pictures of Joe Yarzebinski's Men's Classic Motorcycle Jacket I that went down after sliding on loose gravel.

Fox Creek's Classic m/c jacket saved my hide!, 2010-11-11
by
from San Diego, CA
2 of 2 people found this review helpful.
Over the years I've logged around 100,000 miles on street bikes and have been fortunate enough to have never had a crash - until this week. And I'm happy to say that the Fox Creek Leather Classic I jacket that I bought 4 months ago truly saved me from serious road rash.
I bought my Classic I about 4 months ago. I've been in love with the jacket since the day I received it. I've worn it EVERY day since even in temps up into the 90's where I've found the jacket to vent surprisingly well when underway. So far I've encountered temps down to 40 degrees F and have found it to be warm also.
Two nights ago I was headed home at 1:00 AM on the freeway here in the San Diego area. There were almost NO cars on the road at all at this time. I was wearing my Fox Creek Classic I and also my Fox Creek elkskin gloves. As I cruised along on my Electra Glide at about 65 mph suddenly out of the blue I was SLAMMED HARD from the rear by a car I'd never seen coming. The impact was so violent I was stunned. The next thing I knew I was flat on my back on the pavement skidding along feet-first at 65 mph. I recall propping myself up a bit on my forearms to try and look ahead of me to see where I was sliding. I could see a massive shower of sparks about 15 feet out in front of me - this was my bike skidding along on it's side. After what seemed an eternity I came to a rest and immediately jumped up and dashed to the freeway shoulder to get out of the way of any approaching cars that might be coming along behind me.
A witness who had been behind me stopped and told me what had happened. The car had passed by them at approx 85-90 mph and then a couple seconds later drifted into my lane and sideswiped me at my left saddle bag. The car never stopped and fled the scene. The Highway Patrol made a report, etc. I went to the hospital to be checked out and all I had was some minor road rash just above my pants belt from where the bottom of my jacket had ridden up a bit due to the direction I had been sliding on the pavement.
In looking at my gear I was impressed at how well my Fox Creek jacket and elkskin gloves had stood up to the punishment of this incident. Here in California the freeways are cement with longitudinal rain grooves cut into them about 1/4" or so apart. This surface would have shredded me badly had I not been wearing the top quality leather that I was. The rash I did have was minor and not what I consider the fault of the jacket, however I shudder to imagine what the road rash would have been like had I not been geared up properly. The heavy supple leather of Fox Creek's jacket and gloves truly saved me from a great deal of pain.
Thanks to all of you at Fox Creek!

Just a short note to everyone at Fox Creek Leather. I wanted to tell you my jacket arrived last night and boy this is one beautiful jacket
It is a piece of art in leather.
When I picked up the box I had to double check that it was from Fox Creek because I also had a couple steel fenders on order at the same time and I thought the box was too heavy to be my jacket.
But nope, it was the jacket it is one heavy duty jacket it feels so safe and secure like a coat of armor might feel but it doesn't feel heavy when you have it on. It's not stiff or hard to move in. It feels like I have been wearing it for years and is already broke in.
I knew it was going to be a nice piece but it is beyond my expectations.
To Scarlett you have been so helpful to me with all of the different things I have ordered that I will be a lifelong customer from here on in.
The BEST PRODUCT and the best PEOPLE bar none. One definition of QUALITY = FOX CREEK LEATHER.
Thanks

Classic Motorcycle Jacket I, 2009-10-02

from Parker, Colorado

I have had the Classic 1 for about 4 years, and have only worn it in the cold Colorado weather. It has performed very well down to 18 degrees.
In the past several months, however, I decided that it only made sense to have that quality protection all the time so I began wearing it this summer. Some of my rider buddies gave me odd looks when I showed up for a summer ride in it, but I had discovered that with the vents open I was actually quite comfortable. On the warmer days (90+ degrees)I experimented with dousing my shirt in water, then zipping up the jacket and letting the water evaporate out the vents. Amazingly, I was much cooler than if I was just in a T-shirt!
In August 2009 I rode through the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico. For about 2,200 miles I wore the Classic 1. Temperatures ranged from 45 and rainy in the mountains to 108 in the dessert and I could not have been more impressed with this jacket! By simply opening or closing the zipper vents and sleeve zippers I could create my own comfort level. I found that keeping a wet long sleeved shirt or cool-vest under the jacket kept me reasonably cool even at 75 mph in 108 degrees! Knowing I had the thick leather on just in case I needed it was a comfort as well! Needless to say, I have become convinced that this is the best all around jacket available! It now goes with me every mile of every ride regardless of the weather. Thank you for making such a terrific product!

I've been using my Classic I jacket for about a year now and I am totally pleased. The jacket is extremely heavy and warm, but the venting is excellent and I remain comfortable at temperatures upwards of 80 degrees as long as I'm moving. With the overlapping lapels, I can seal up the neck and stay warm in cold weather as well. The craftsmanship is superb. I'm quite sure that I will never need another leather motorcycling jacket as long as I live. I recommend your products to everyone I know.

Great Jacket, 2009-05-14

My name is Kevin and I was forced into buying a new leather riding jacket after crashing last year and destroying my 30 yr old previous jacket (that I loved very much). I just wanted to tell all of you at Fox Creek Leather how very pleased I am with my purchase from you.
It's by far the best riding jacket I've ever owned! I was a little unsure about ordering a jacket online with out first trying it on. But let me tell ya this thing fits like it was made for me & me only, I love it!
I looked in many stores and online sites before I decided who to buy from. I was looking for a 100% American made leather jacket being the same style as my old one. What I found was a jacket better than my old one and I didn't think that was possible. Customer service was nothing less than Great. I was very surprised when you guys called me at 4:30 on a Friday to go over the size I had ordered to ensure I was going to get the fit I wanted. That type of service I've never received before and therefore will buy all my leather goods from your store from now on!

Overall Incredible Jacket, 2009-04-02
by

The Classic Motorcycle Jacket I is an incredible jacket overall. The quality and weight of this 1.6mm leather is the best leather product I have ever owned. Fox Creek helped me get the size right and worked with me to assure I had a good fit. I wear a size 44 sport coat, but we ended up using the 46 leather coat with the liner installed. I would recommend this jacket to friends without reservation. There is one negative, that I have to mention. Though my core body is very warm in this jacket, the sleeves are very loose and oversized, so a cold breeze runs up both my arms and chills me on cold days. If I could change anything about this jacket, I would add snaps at the wrists that would allow me to snug the sleeves and end my love/hate relationship with the jacket.

Since Colorado Jeff mentioned his new jacket, I thought I'd do the same. A while ago, I asked the list if anyone had any experience with Fox Creek Leather products. A few people responded positively, nobody negatively. I finally got around to ordering a jacket, and it arrived last week. I have to tell you, IT IS AWESOME! The weight, thickness of leather, and quality of workmanship and detail look to me to be about the same level as Vanson, but at about 1/2 the price.
The jacket I got is a classic biker style jacket. It has both a removable thermal liner and zippered vents, front and back, to make it extremely versatile. It is similar to, but seems to be of higher quality than, the H-D El Camino jacket, at about $100. less than the H-D. You can get their products in a wide variety of colors and finishes. I got basic black. A nice plus is that it is made right here in the good old US of A. And at about $300, it is a bargain and better quality than I have seen at just about any price. Also, customer service and responsiveness are excellent.
Of course, how it holds up over time will be the real test, but right now it looks like a definite winner. No affiliation, yadda yadda yadda.
Take care, and stay vertical,

This leather jacket is the real deal . The quality is outstanding and makes me feel better to buy an American product. Customer service at Fox Creek is great and they helped me during the ordering process over the phone. I had my jacket in two working days after ordering. The jacket fits me perfect.I have been wearing my jacket since October 2008 ,with only a shirt underneath. I'm riding with temperatures ranging between low forties to sixty degrees. Also, I like how the pockets are arranged and easy to get to on this jacket. Definitely a Classic Jacket that is First Class.

My name is Poul-Erik and I live in Denmark in the north of the country and ride my motorcycle every day to and from work and on trips with my biker friends.
I have long wished for a leather jacket, but it must be a special one. I searched on the internet across most of Europe but did not find what I wanted. Some of my friends said to try Fox Creek Leather and I did. I am a bit old fashioned and am highly critical of what I buy, but I decided to put my faith and trust in Fox Creek.
I chose a Brown Classic Motorcycle jacket because in my young days I had seen the movie; The Wild One; so let it be. At the same time I ordered a Brown Classic Motor Cycle Vest and Fancy Vest Extender.
I used email and the phone to ask questions and I received answers on the same day. It's just the best experience I have had with an online order.
I waited with bated breath to receive the jacket and vest and they arrived 14 weeks later. I had guests the day the package arrived and I tell you, there were big eyes as the jacket and vest were taken our of the box. Never have I seen such a beautiful work. The leather, buttons and seams were made so powerful that I did not believe my own eyes. I have not seen anything so beautiful since my daughter`s birth. Next issue, will it fit me? It looked like it was painted on my body, it was so perfect and it looks good.
The winter is here and it is cold, rainy and windy but my jacket and vest keep me warm. I feel comfortable and secure and must of all happy.
I have a good fortune coin, a Peace Silver Dollar Denver 1922, it says In God We Trust and I do that, but I also trust the Fox Creek Leather family and they will allwayhave my faith and my confidence.
Thanks Scarlett, Melinda, Chippy and everyone in the family.

Hi, folks. Had my Fox Creek jacket for a few months now and am ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED. Promised to send you a pic, but the weather here has been so excerable that there's been few opportunities to take one. Anyway, here I am at Kilve Beach in Somerset, with jacket in full effect. Bike parked on top of cliff, I'm afraid.
Thanks so much for this great jacket, which felt as though I'd been wearing it a lifetime the very first time I put it on.
Hope all is well with you guys, and hope to buy more gear from you when the economy picks up!
All the best

I'm really impressed with the Jacket I got.The quality and material is outstanding and customer service is as well. When using my jacket I feel very comfortable and protected, the design is very good and leather thickness can provide some protection. The funny thing is that I was searching for a product like that in many sites in US during long time and one night just before I quit the search, I found the Fox Creek Leather site. The product pictures are remarkable and the size chart provides you the perfect way to find the right size. We have good leather quality in Brazil, I can't find such a jacket design and I'm very please to use a unique product like this. My friends are also impressed with the remarkable product. Now I'm waiting for my last acquisition:DeerTours Motorcycle Gloves!!!"

On the 18 August 2008 I purchased a Classic 1 Leather Jacket.
I received the Jacket on 25 August 2008 exactly one week after my purchased date. I must say I am more than pleased with the jacket. The quality far exceeds my expectations. I am a member of the Hunter Coalfields Ulysses Motor Cycle Club which is a club for over 50 years olds. I have shown my jacket to many of my fellow club members and they are as impressed as I am with the quality and craftsmanship of this jacket. I am very pleased that I pursued my search for a first class product.
I have succeeded in a double win finding a company that provides a very high standard of customer service and speedy delivery. I am more than happy to recommend Fox Creek Leather to friends and fellow riders.

At Last, just what I wanted., 2008-06-12

On the 13th of this month I ordered a Classic Motorcycle Jacket 1 from you and on the 22nd it was delivered to me here in Great Britain. This was very good, but not as good as the Jacket itself, to say I am pleased with it is an understatement. The quality of the workmanship and the leather is just the best. I have been looking for a new jacket for about 6 or 7 years, knowing exactly what I wanted but not finding it in any of the products I tried. And I tried. All our home grown products here in the UK are made for a price( cheap and not very good quality ) or are Harley-Davidson products that are keen to advertise that, and even though I ride a Harley and love it, I don`t want it emblazoned across my back. I also tried Vanson but they don`t make a jacket exactly like I wanted. About a year ago, searching on the internet, I came across your site but was wary of buying mail order especially from a different continent. With the lack of success elsewhere and life being short I decided to give it a go and I am so pleased I did. Not only is your jacket exactly the style I wanted, the quality is superb and the fit excellent,( thanks to your email asking additional questions to get it just right ). As soon as I put it on it felt like I`d been wearing it for years, not only that, it cost considerably less than a H-D or Vanson garment.
I recently wore it on a 750 mile round trip to visit my Great Grandfather`s War Grave in Ypres, Belgium and we experienced pouring rain and hot sunshine. The Jacket was supple enough to be comfortable under a waterproof suit and when riding in hot, sunny conditions the vents were remarkably effective. And if I thought it was comfortable when I first put it on that was nothing compared to after a few days riding in it. It molds to fit you and apart from the reassuring weight of the jacket you don't know you're wearing it. I now would not wear any other jacket. Thank you very much, I will be highly recommending your products to all my friends and wish you every success in the future.
Best regards, Roger Baldwin

I ran the entire gamut of internet sites, local retail stores, and bike shops looking for the jacket I had in mind. The imports were tempting, but didn't sit well in my stomach. Personally, there's a lot of pride for me in wearing and using products made in the USA. Although, I can't always do it, there are times you just have to keep it where you made it -in the USA. I ordered the jacket and chaps on a Friday and received the package today (Tuesday). Words can't do justice to the overwhelming satisfaction of these products- absolutely fantastic, awesome fit, and the look, feel, and smell of the heavy leather was more than I had hoped for from these garments. I'm now contemplating the purchase of additional items such as the Buffalo Vest and of course the leather care products. Thanks Fox Creek for the products you provide to your customers.

Well, shipping for my Classic I was thunder fast, even though it was an overseas travel. The first impression when I opened the box it was of complete astonishment. I couldn't believe that something could be made this good nowadays, the craftsmanship is extraordinary, and the quality of the material is superb.
It has *that* little bit more that makes the difference between good, excellent, and superb. Good job indeed.
This jacket is heavy because the leather is really thick, though soft and somehow pliant. When you put it on it feels a bit like an old time swordsman's protection garment, but it is a very pleasant feeling. I don't think this jacket is intended for pure racing, so for riding at normal speeds I believe it will give a perfect protection. Anyhow I am looking for a spine protector to wear under this jacket for medium to long trips.
I love my new jacket. So much, I just ordered a pair of chaps and a couple of belts.
People at Fox Creek Leather, thank you very much indeed.

Dear Fox Creek,
I have just received my new “Classic Motorcycle Jacket 1” this morning (1 hour ago in fact) and I wanted to send you this email to say thanks. I was slightly worried before ordering this because I couldn’t see or try the jacket before paying for it. I normally would confirm the quality before buying however I read all the feedback on your site and that convinced me to take a risk.
I am 110% happy that I did take this risk because the quality of the jacket is better than I could ever have expected. The general quality and feel of the jacket is top quality, the thickness of the leather is incredible, the styling is great and the zips are so smooth. Just gives me confidence that it has been well made.
I would and will recommend you to any biker that I meet or know. Your jackets are better than anything I have ever bought and I’ve had bikes for 20 years.

I just received two custom sized motorcycle jackets, one for my Son, and one for me.
They are absolutely fantastic. This is one very serious piece of leather. It is like wearing half a cow! The workmanship is perfect.
I have one of those middle-aged spreads--you know! Fitting me is a bit difficult. The Fox Creek staff were great to work with.
You will not find anything this good at the Harley dealer!
I will be back soon to buy some more items.

After purchasing a great belt and some super gloves from Fox Creek I decided that I'd give one of those beautiful jackets a try. So I read the instructions on how to measure for the jacket and then I placed my order. Like clockwork the jacket arrived three days later. My jaw literally dropped when I pulled it out of it's small, heavy box. I looked over at the black leather jacket I had been wearing and it had made a puddle on the floor after seeing it's replacement. My Dad had lent me his jacket for which I was very grateful(since I was practically jacket-less) but there was no real comparison. I have worn this jacket every day since it arrived. Temperatures have ranged from below freezing to about 75 degrees F. It has always been comfortable. I just adjust the vents on the jacket and the clothing I wear underneath the jacket accordingly. My jacket fits like a glove. Compared to my old jacket there is practically no drag. I can carry my cell phone, sunglasses, and yes, those awful cigarettes in the many pockets this jacket offers with no problems. Beware of the teeth on the pocket zippers. Sticking an ungloved dry skinned hand in them carelessly can result in a flesh wound. Hats off to y'all at Fox Creek for another superior product!

A rare find, 2007-12-01

I needed a new bike jacket, so I searched for as much anecdotal evidence as I could find to assist in making my decision. I looked on web forums, visited dealers and listened to a whole bunch of advice.
My specification list included a longer body (I'm 6'4"), longer arms, thick, quality cow hide, and a removable liner. I also made a big play of not buying a jacket with a brand name that was made in the Far East, (but marketed with a home-made price ticket.!)
A friend of mine in the US put me onto Fox Creek Leathers, and after reading a lot of testimonials, and asking a few questions on those web forums, I decided to purchase a Classic 1 jacket from their web store.
Please understand that as I am in England, I had not seen this jacket first hand, merely looked at the excellent website, as well as listened to others who had bought, worn, and sadly tested the quality in an accident . I need not have worried.
I read their advice on the website carefully and picked the "long" option. I added my height and chest size, gave the credit card details and pressed GO!
I am so delighted with the jacket and the outstanding customer service, especially as the jacket only took 3 days to get all the way from Virginia to England! Emails were answered almost by return. I don't get this level of response and attention to detail here in the UK! (The shipping costs were very reasonable too!)
The quality of the leather, the cut, the fit, the liner, the zips, all are first rate.
For what it's worth (and I have no tie-in with this company, this is merely me as a very satisfied customer) get your order on now! You'll not regret it!

I have owned my jacket for about a year now and couldn’t be more happy. The leather is very soft and pliable for being so thick it's amazing. The leather is wearing very well and still looks new. The zippers are smooth and strong and the vents are great for adjusting to varying temperatures on a ride. With the liner in the jacket it’s very warm for winter rides. There is no wind leakage on any zipper. What more can you ask for? I have not seen another jacket that can even come close to the quality and comfort of this jacket. You can’t go wrong with Fox Creek.

After my previous riding jacket (purchased from the manufacturer of my bike--oink)disintegrated, I obviously needed a new jacket. I ride hard, year round. In Michigan, this means rain, snow, sub-zero winters, and blistering summers.
I have to admit that while I knew of the quality of the Fox Creek leather products, I was somewhat leery of purchasing custom clothing over the Internet. I read through the Fox Creek website, and many of the testimonials, and decided to go for it. Unfortunately, I missed the little bit about ordering up one size in jackets! This was totally my fault.
I decided that the jacket was just too small, and called to get a RMA. My call was answered on the second ring (right there a sign of a good business...anyone who answers on the first ring is too desperate; if it rings more than twice, then customer service is not a priority!) by an ACTUAL PERSON who spoke AMERICAN ENGLISH! Rarely have I been so impressed when dealing with a company in another state. The gal who answered was extremely helpful, explained that a RMA was not necessary, went to the trouble to make sure that the correct size was in stock, and overnighted it to me. All at no additional charge! Even more impressive, there was none of this crap about "placing a hold on your credit card until the original jacket arrives here," or worse, "send us the jacket, and when it gets here, we will send out a new one." There are hundreds of companies out there (especially computer companies I won't name, although one of the worst rhymes with Hell) that could take some major customer service lessons from Fox Creek. The new jacket fits like a custom garment should...like it was built on me. I absolutely adore the supple yet thick and strong leather y'all use. The quality of your riding gear won you a customer, your service won you a lifelong supporter! I will definitely purchase all my leather from Fox Creek.
Thanks again for such a wonderful product and exemplary customer service!

You just won't want to take it off.
After some dismal results trying to get a bargain on E-Bay, I bit the bullet and bought the Classic I from FCL. I'm sure glad I did.
The jacket fits more like a glove than a coat. After wearing it a few times, putting it on was like shaking hands with an old friend. Extremely comfortable, can't imagine better quality, superior customer service and a fair price.
This the fourth item I've purchased from FCL and this one is just as great as the others. Fox Creek is the only place to shop for leatherwear and leather bike accessories. Believe me, I've tried others and they can't hold a candle to Fox Creek.
The down side...living in Florida I won't get to wear it as much as I'd like....I'm moving.
Keep 'er rubber side down,
-Mike

I own the Fox Creek Classic I jacket and the Fox Creek chaps. I made the purchase when I went single transportation on a Harley Softail Standard 2006. I ride everyday to work where I teach high school....rain, shine, sleet, whatever. Most of my co-workers (and fellow riders) think I'm nuts for enduring a lot of the crazy weather we have in South Carolina. Not the coldest, I know....compared to up north, but when I pull into work in a complete downpour, and it's around 33 degrees outside, I'm warm, dry, and don't need to change out before teaching my first class. People stop me in the hallway and say: "you rode in THIS!?" I simply replied: "when you have the right gear, any weather is good riding weather". Fox Creek truly makes great gear. I'll be getting some saddlebags next!

I've owned my Classic I for three years and it is fabulous. The quality is top shelf and I have had no problems with it; it wears like iron. I've not seen a jacket with this kind of quality anywhere. Fox Creek builds one helluva of leather jacket!

The Classic I saved my hide!, 2007-01-16

End of September, plans were to meet some friends in Panama City, Florida for the Fall Thunder Beach Ralley. First really cool morning of the fall, so I decided to put on my Classic I before I headed out. Motorcycle packed, I turned out of my sub-division and traveled about a half a mile, when a four legged yard shark came out of nowhere. First, I saw he was about a foot away going for my front tire. My instinct was to hit the brake but I still ran over him with my front tire. The braking I did, caused a skid and I went down on my left side. I rode the slide for a while, but eventually separated from the bike and rolled another fifteen or twenty feet after the bike came to a stop. Got up and checked to make sure my arms and legs were all there.
I got the bike up on its tires and looked over at the dog, laying on his back in the other lane. His eyes were open and they were blinking real fast. I contemplated going over and putting him out of his misery with a swift kick to the head. I hate to see any animal suffer. When all of a sudden he stood up looking kind of dazed, he shook his head from side to side then stopped, looked directly at me and started barking. I started to move toward him and he took off running for parts unknown.
I pushed the bike off of the road and surveyed the damage. Scraped saddle bag, bent shifter, scratched mirror, crushed crash bar and thats it! Damage to me, small road rash on one knee. Damage to my Classic I was road rash on the left elbow and shoulder, a small amount of road rash on the right elbow and upper arm, scratches on the buckle and a little road rash on the front. Nothing on my body that was covered by my Classic I had any kind of injury. What a jacket! I quit smoking in August and unfortunately have gained about 30 lbs so Im gonna need a new jacket. I think I'll try the Classic II this time.
Thanks Fox Creek. Your jacket saved my hide!

Classic I Jacket...2nd to none, 2007-01-02

I was fortunate enough to have received this jacket for Christmas 2006. My wife ordered it for me to surprise me, knowing that I have wanted one for several years now. When it came, it was too small for me (by no fault of Fox Creek Leather I might add). I called FCL on the Wednesday following Christmas. I explained over the phone to the salesperson my dilemma, and after a few minutes we decided that I needed a 54 Long instead of a 50 Long. She told me they would be shipping one out that day. And true to their word, it was at my doorstep within 48 hours.
Now about the jacket. It is without a doubt, the finest piece of leather I have ever owned. I can not find a flaw anywhere on it. The craftsmanship is 2nd to none, the leather is beautiful and quite heavy (my 11 year old son even has trouble lifting it). The hardware is beautiful. It is EXTREMELY warm (I rode into work this morning in 27 degree weather).
Previously, I had purchased a pair a Fox Creek Leather gloves. And now, after this jacket, I definitely know where I am coming for my chaps.
Thank you Fox Creek! The only thing BETTER than your products, is your customer service. You folks are simply the best!!!!

Fox Creek, I just wanted to write you guy and let you know I am breathing a sigh of relief and thankfulness. I received your Classic II motorcycle jacket this past Wednesday and have been blown away with its thickness, soft feel, weight, look, leather grain, liner, zippers, etc. This jacket is by far the best Jacket I have seen, tried on, or heard of. I was very nervous about ordering a jacket online because before receiving your jacket I haven’t been able find one that fit me in length in the arms or in the back. I am 6’6 and 280lbs. I got the 52 long and it fits just right. Everywhere I go people are noticing the quality of this jacket. Even guys that have ridden bikes for years stop me and want to try it on. Thank you guys a ton.

Classic Motorcycle Jacket I and Overpants, 2006-11-17

I purchased the Classic MJ I a couple months and a thousand miles ago and could not be more pleased. The jacket is extremely well made and very heavy, and the vents/pockets are placed in the best locations. I think I could not live without the belt, so the MJ I was the correct choice for me. The belt keeps the jacket from riding up my body while in a crouched position on my Triumph Thruxton. The jacket is *very* comfortable in all weather. I don't usually ride in the rain, but I have worn the jacket in 35 F and 85 F, and it was equally comfortable by adjusting the vents and adding a scarf for the cold. I have yet to use the lining, not sure I ever will unless I'm in sub freezing temperatures.
Since I wear my own CE level 2 armor underneath, I was mainly concerned with protecting my skin. Even though I have not had the opportunity to test the jackets effectiveness (and do not particularly want to test it),I have complete confidence this jacket will save my skin. I have never *seen* a leather jacket this thick!
I also purchased the leather overpants a couple weeks after receiving the jacket. I tried to review those, but don't see them anymore. Hopefully, they are not discontinued, because the combination of the MJ I and the overpants is perfect!
Excellent look, and very easy to get on and off. Like the jacket, very thick and well made. Hope I'll be able to get a second pair!!

Great All Around Jacket, 2006-08-07

I purchased the Classic I jacket in October 2005. After wearing this jacket for almost a year, I can give a full review. I am 6' 1 tall and weigh 280 lbs. I spoke with one of the reps from Fox Creek and she recommended the 58 regular. Unfortunately it was short in the body and sleeves. Not a problem, I called Fox Creek and returned the regular and about four days later I received a 58 long. Much better fit. At first the jacket seemed restrictive in arm movement. After a week of wearing it the restrictiveness disappeared. This jacket is the most comfortable motorcycle jacket that I have worn. The leather is very thick and super soft. It has a pleasing leather smell and nice natural finish to it.
I became so fond of the jacket that I started wearing it as my everyday jacket in the fall and winter. With the vents open, the jacket is comfortable on a motorcycle up to 85 degrees and the thick leather does an excellent job of keeping heat in and wind/cold out. I have yet needed to insert the thermo liner in it. I even used this jacket when I went snow shoveling this past winter when it snowed over a foot. My wife fell asleep with this jacket over her as a blanket one night and woke up the next morning surprised about how warm it kept her.
The only drawback to this jacket is the lack of motorcycle armor. I can understand why you wouldn't include armor into this jacket but at least if pockets for armor were sewn in the lining we could insert or remove armor depending on our taste. Other than that this is an excellent jacket. If deciding between the Classic I or II , I would choose the I. I use the front slash pocket every time I wear it and the belt is good for adjusting the waist when you sit your motorcycle. I highly recommend this jacket if you are looking for a classic high quality leather motorcycle jacket.

I knew immediately that I was really going to like this jacket! Your sizing chart worked well and the jacket fit just right. The venting has worked well on the hot days and conversely the jacket has kept me warm on some pretty cool evening rides. I have owned a number of leather motorcycle jackets over the years and I can tell you that this one far surpasses them all. This jacket just plain feels good.
Thanks for a great product - I'll be back for other items.

Hi, from Belgium,
I receive my Jacket classic I yesterday (2 days for sending from US to
Impossible to find this quality of leather, sewing and the price here in Belgium.
I ride directly with it, the vents are great for cooling, for the moment its 32°. Naturally I paid the customs here (123euros). In Belgium they apply 35% on the value, they are like the Mafia. But no regrets, that's what I will.... One more thanks and on a next time.

After a few emails with Scartlett I decided to send a picture of myself on my Rune just to get her advice and to confirm the size of jacket. On Scarlett's advice I purchased the jacket and waited. When the jacket arrived I was thoroughly impressed. The quality of the jacket is outstanding and the craftsmanship is the best I have ever seen in this type of garment. The jacket was a perfect fit.The after sales care is excellent to, the sales team does care about you and what you think of their products.
I have no hesitation in recommending Fox Creek Leather to anyone in the U.K. and I will be buying from them again in the future.

Just letting you know my Mens Classic 1 jacket and travel bag arrived today and I'm wrapped with the quality of both. And the careful packaging for shipping made sure they arrived in perfect shape. Many thanks to Scarlett for answering my emails in relation to sizing for the jacket. My measurements put me in between sizes 42 and 44, but both would fit okay depending on whether I liked a snug or loose fit. I went with the size 42 and its spot on. Not too snug, and will be absolutely perfect once I've broken it in. I've never owned such a good quality jacket before this, and I'm asking myself why did I wait so long....! And the 3-piece leather travel bag is great value at $99. Seriously eyeing off some Fatboy saddlebags now.........
Anyway, if you have any queries from prospective customers down my way who are concerned about buying and shipping from across the Pacific, please feel free to quote me as being a satisfied, long-distance customer. Thanks again.

My Classic 1 Jacket draws lascivious, lusting commentary wherever I go, here in Kobe, Japan. From men, unfortunately...
Made-in-America--- that is also great-- excellent, in fact. You can control the quality.
For the quality that you supply I would willingly pay twice the current asking price!
However, since I now own a Classic 1 Jacket and my custom-built chaps & Deer Tour gloves are soon to arrive...
I don't think I'll be ordering anything soon.I am covered...
Your kit is built to last two or three lifetimes...

One morning, I was lying in bed wishing I was dead (I had the flu and was feeling like I had been run over by a dump truck) when my wife asked me if I felt up to accompanying her for a little shopping trip. As it was almost my birthday, she said that we could look for a new leather motorcycle jacket for me since my favorite one had been stolen several years earlier. I said OK and she asked where I wanted to go. I suggested trying the Harley dealer.
After several hours and 4 Harley dealerships, we pulled into the local Harley Davidson dealership in Vallejo. This was going to be my last stop since I was feeling horrible. After 5 hours, I walked out with a brand new Road King Classic, but I still had no jacket! Harley did not have anything like the jacket that I wanted.
I got on-line that night and did a search for leather motorcycle jackets, specifically the one worn by Marlon Brando in The Wild Ones. Lo and behold, Fox Creek Leathers popped up and I quickly clicked on the link. I selected the Mens Classic I and up popped a picture of the EXACT jacket I had been looking for. I ordered it immediately and waited impatiently for my new Best friend to arrive. It arrived a day early and I tore open the box so fast that the friction burned my hands. The second I put it on I was in heaven! Heavy, yet soft and comfortable, it was even better than I could have hoped and it was 10 times better than my old favorite jacket. The quality is second to none and I have recommended Fox Creek to many.
This is by far the finest motorcycle jacket available. The quality of the workmanship is evident from a first glance, but when you put it on, you too will feel like I did. This is my new best friend!
Thank you Fox Creek!

What a Great Jacket!, 2006-01-12

Tried several cheap imported jackets over the years and got frustrated with the fit, quality and lack of features, so in a moment of self-indulgence I decided to order a Classic 1. I had read many of the reviews here as well as comments on various motorcycle forums I frequent, but I was still unprepared for what I received. This is the classiest leather garment I have ever seen. The leather is very thick, soft as butter and the thing weighs a ton (that's good). It smokes the high priced HD leather. The antiqued brass hardware also provides a really classy touch rather than the usual chrome stuff. The vents are great - I can wear this in 70+ temperatures without getting heat stroke if necessary. The liner is easy to zip in or out as well - no fiddly buttons, just a zipper.
The only 2 things I would complain about are the belt keeper and the collar arrangement. The left side belt keeper (loop) is too far over to the left to capture the free end of the belt, so you end up going gang banger style with your excess belt hanging down. Like another reviewer mentioned, when the jacket is zipped up all the way, the collar doesnt seem to lay quite right. This is pretty difficult to explain without pictures, but it is really the only significant issue, and it is largely cosmetic, not functional. Inspite of these points, I love my Classic 1 and can't imagine ever getting another jacket (unless its a different Fox Creek).

About 6 weeks ago I found myself in the position of having to replace my Bike Jacket that was stolen from the back seat of my car. I visited as many Bike Shops in my local area as I could find but could not find a Jacket that I was happy with. As the Jacket I lost was a Harley Davidson Jacket purchased by my wife as a present 3 years ago, I even tried the nearest Harley Dealership. But the only stock they had were lightweight Jackets made in China.
Not being able to find a Jacket I would be happy wearing, I resorted to checking out the Internet, although I wasn't entirely happy with purchasing a Jacket over the Net.
After looking at many sites a few times, I kept going back to the Fox Creek Leathers site as the Jackets and Specifications they advertised seemed to be the best I could find. Also the reviews on the site from satisfied customers seemed genuine, so I decided to take a chance and order a Classic Motorcycle Motorcycle Jacket 1 in the size recommended by Scarlett. I had emailed her asking for advice on American sizing as I knew the fit would need to be perfect 1st time due to the shipping costs between the UK and America.
Five days later my Jacket arrived and I can honestly say that it is the best Jacket I have ever owned, better even than the Harley Jacket I was replacing. The Leather is heavy but supple, and the finish and stitching looks as tough as any I've seen.
I have no hesitation in recommending Fox Creek Leathers both for the Quality of the Jacket I purchased but also for the professional and helpful way in which they fulfilled my order.

The best leather jacket anywhere (a tale of the perfect graduation gift), 2005-11-19
by
from Palmyra, VA
3 of 3 people found this review helpful.
I enrolled in graduate school a little later in life and when I came up for graduation this past summer, my very proud mom, who never thought I would ever finish, wanted to get me a class ring. Anyone who does work with their hands knows that rings just get in the way. I have just about lost the finger with my wedding band on it several times over the last 12 years, but not wearing a wedding band causes more trouble than the possibility of losing a finger. Back to the point, I kindly told her that both the ring and a great leather jacket I found online (the Foxcreek Classic I Motorcycle Jacket) have a lifetime warranty, and I would get more use out of a solid leather jacket to replace my well-worn cheap knock-off jacket I bought some years ago. She thought I had lost my freshly-educated mind, but I assured her that I had thoroughly searched the web, and while I had found plenty of knock-offs made in various third-world locales, I found the Classic I and it was the only jacket anywhere that could not only replace the permanence of the (dreaded) class ring, but also had the plus of something made in the good ol USA with quality materials. With some reluctance and a looming fear that the Classic I would indeed turn me into a Marlon Brando-esque Wild One, she contacted the folks at Foxcreek to place the order for the Classic I jacket (and the customer service is the best anywhere...try it!). Even she was surprised when it arrived FAST and was of such high quality. It is the most comfortable jacket I have ever owned and just from the bumps and scrapes I encounter on a daily basis, it has survived without a scratch. This is tough leather that can take a beating, yet it is super soft and flexible. It is like second skin! Mom still wishes I had that class ring, but secretly she knows theres a little Wild One in all of us. Just a little. So be just a little wild and get a Classic I. You will be glad you did!

Thank you for the quick delivery and support of the troops overseas at APO addresses. Chaps look and fit great - a perfect match to my Fox Creek Classic MC I leather jacket. After a season of riding throughout Germany and France, I can say my Fox Creek jacket is awesome. Leather quality is top notch - both the jacket and chaps scream quality - several of my friends have ordered from you because they were so impressed with the feel of my jacket. I especially like the front and rear vents which allow the jacket to be worn comfortably in warmer weather. A total pleasure doing business with you.

She supplied me with the right expression, Testimonial , but professed that she would rather have a love letter.
SINCE I am a married man, this is the best I can do...
The Classic Motorcycle Jacket 1 is absolutely the best piece of kit available. Fox Creeks on-line advice re sizing is spot-on. I have ordered leather jackets on-line to a UK address (hoping to save money) -- but the fit/quality was poor and I have not been happy. FALSE Economy! I LOVE Fox Creek!

I received the Classic Motorcyle Jacket I three days ago. I only orederd it two days before that. So far the experience has been amazing. Fox Creek is an amazing company and I am proud they are American!
I am new to the motorcycling community. I recently purchased a 04 Deuce while on my deployment to Operation Iraqi Freedom. I fully understand how important personal protection is. When I arrived back stateside and took possession of my new ride I decided I would not just ride recreationally, but rather I would commute. This would require solid riding gear and I felt a bit intimidated by all the products that are out there.
I started my search at my Harley Dealership. I am also a new member of the HOG Chapter sponsored there. I thought for sure I would be able to find some gear I would be satisfied with and I was prepared to spend top dollar for it. While browsing and speaking with the other riders at the store I became frustrated with all the crap that Harley has affixed its' label to. I heard someone mention Fox Creek and it stuck some where in the back of my mind. I took my search online and found the Fox Creek website. Immediately I liked what I saw. The site is clean, easy to navigate, and the reviews were incredibly helpful.
Even though I read all the reviews I was still a bit skeptical. But I decided to take a chance. I ordered the Classic Motorcycle Jacket I and the Buffalo Nickel Braided Vest. I ordered my chaps from Vanson; this was a mistake.
The Fox Creek jacket and vest are bomb proof. The quality and fit are unlike anything I have ever purchased. Not only are both functional but the products look awesome.
My chaps from Vanson were a nice fit, however the hardware and zippers appear and feel cheap. The leather is not the quality of my Fox Creek products. To be honest I do not feel confident in the chaps. When these fail me and I think it will not be long, I will be turning to Fox Creek.
My wife will be touring with me and she has judged the quality of a few pieces in the Harley store as well as a few other local bike shops. She is convinced that her gear will be Fox Creek Leather. She especially likes how heavy my jacket feels.
Thanks for a great American product.

I bought my Classic I Leather Motorcycle jacket back in the spring. It is beyond a doubt the best leather jacket I have ever owned, and I've owned many. Weighs about 9 lbs. Feels like it was made just for me. The folks at Fox Creek took the time to get my measurements perfect.
I take it on all of my rides and trips, either wearing it or stuffing it in my saddles for late night or early morning cruises. It's been through rain and shine, hot and cold, dust and mud, bugs and well you get the point. All of my friends have commented on the quality and fit. This is definitely a jacket that will be around long after I'm gone! Just placed an order for the braided chaps to match, and have every confidence that I will be just as pleased. Thanks to all the folks at Fox Creek. You bring Pride back to the Made in America label.

I thought man, this is the real deal. The quality and feel of this jacket is second to none. Made with pride in the USA too,to me that is a plus. I checked out some Harley jackets at the local dealer they had a tag that says Harley Davidson with a smaller tag that said made in Pakistan, with a big price tag, HA,I just walked away. My better half ordered me your Classic I jacket. I had hoped to have it before we left for a 5 day ride on our Harleys. Unfortunately, they were back ordered and would not make it in time for the trip. When we returned, there was a package waiting for me. As I lifted the box off of the floor I found it to be heavy. I read the shipping label and saw it was from Fox Creek Leathers. Upon opening the box, I was delighted to see, smell and feel an incredible leather jacket. Of course, I looked over the jacket with a fine tooth comb. Every stitch, snap and zipper are of the finest quality I have ever seen. Once I put it on I knew I had purchased my last leather jacket. The jacket was well worth the wait. Thank you Fox Creek Leathers for a product that is second to none and best of all Made in America. Be proud of your labors, they are the best there is.

Classic Motorcycle Jacket I, 2005-05-02

When I got my jacket the first thing I noticed was how heavy it is. Compared it with my 30 year old Sears coat and it weighted 4lbs more. I thought with this much more weight it would be an awkward and cumbersome coat to wear. After a couple of rides I found the coat quite easy to move around in and very comfortable. With this coat I only needed a long sleeve shirt to stay warm where before I would have had a couple more shirts on.
I spent a lot of time looking for a coat. I could have bought two imports for the price of a Fox Creek coat but they were no where near the quality nor weight of the leather and with Fox Creeks guarantee you cant go wrong. I don't think even the Harley dealers $400-$600 coats which are still imports match up to Fox Creek Leathers.Once again thanks for a great product.

Long search over, 2005-04-25

I was looking for a jacket to replace the old and trusted friend I have been wearing for the past twenty years. It was bought in the UK, and we have partied a lot together, collecting sweat, beer and other less savory stains on the way, but now well overdue for retirement. I was looking for a worthy replacement, and after a lot of searching, both around Tokyo, where I live (and where people love their bikes and biking gear) and on the internet. Fox Creeks was the only site I found that not only gives a huge, detailed pic of the jacket, but also offers to send a leather swatch. I was convinced by that alone, and decided on a Classic l.
The first one was a size large, so after a chat with Bernie on the phone, I returned it, and ordered the next one down. A week later it arrived, and it is everything you say it is. I have always loved leather, whether boots, gloves or whatever, and this stuff is the business! It fits like a glove, soft, thick and luxurious. A similar one over here would cost around three times the price (I'm not joking). One of your reviewers mentioned the belt buckle as being a little disappointing. I agree, I think a roller type would increase the life of the belt considerably. A couple of other suggested improvements (minor only) would be a) a short leather lace or tag on the pocket zippers to make them easier to grasp with gloved or cold fingers and b) a thicker quilted lining. The one supplied is a bit flimsy, and nylon. How about a range of optional linings - heavy duty cotton, sheepskin, etc?
Anyway, to sum it up, this jacket rocks, and my son has also demanded it be passed to him in my will!

I spent several days trying to decide whether to order his jacket or not. I was concerned about proper fit. What I did was, go to a mens clothing store, and try on a jacket. I found that a 46 Long fit me just fine.It was a Monday. I ordered my 46L jacket from Fox Creek Leather that afternoon. I was surprised to see the UPS guy deliver a package on Wednesday, from Fox Creek. It was my Jacket. I was impressed with the leather, the workmanship, and the weight of this jacket. The fit, which I was concerned about, was just PERFECT! I recommend this jacket very highly. Fox Creek Products are as they claim. An excellent company to do business with.

Just received the Mens Classic bike jacket as a replacement for one that has gotten me down many miles and years. Your classic proved to be a jacket made for riding. Last weekend, my buddy and I made our annual Rite of Manhood run up to a place called Kernville at about 4000 feet in the Sierra Nevadas. As usual it turned out to be cold, rainy, snowy, and sunny all at different times over the long Presidents Day weekend party they call the Whiskey Flats celebration. The jacket did its job all weekend and especially during the ride home over Greenhorn Summit, elevation 6120. Although the snow had stopped coming down by the time we rode over the summit, it was great having a good, warm leather to combat the elements. The photo is from the top of the mountain, before we headed back down to the warmer Central Valley below.
The jacket is well made and generally well designed, with plenty of pockets and good brass hardware. The multiple zippers on the many pockets and the vents raises the weight up considerably, but it is worth it for the convenience and comfort they add. I'm 59 and 160# so I was between a 40 and 42 size. I opted for the 40 and it fit perfectly, with and without the liner. The mesh lining inside the zip-in liner seems like a good idea for warmer weather riding when the insulated liner comes out. The well padded back belt provided a good support and covered my low back well in the cold weather.
My only wish was for a slightly heftier front belt and buckle. The belt felt as if it would stretch with time and needed some stiffer or heavier leather in my opinion. The buckle was also a bit lightweight and I would have preferred a more substantial roller buckle to the dressy one that was stock. Fortunately, it will be easy enough to change.
My only other complaint was that, when the jacket is fully zipped, the point of the left collar doesn't fold down very well, but sticks straight out a few inches from the jacket. It seems that this jacket has the same problem that a lot of newer designed jackets have in that the points of the collar are too short, and in fact the collar itself is a bit small, especially for the heft of this jacket. Older jacket designs had longer collars that allowed the wearer to run the zipper up completely without having to unsnap the collar points. I would have liked to seen a larger collar on this jacket.
OK, so I cant have it all. But its American-made, quality leather, well-constructed and sewn, and is sold by helpful, very nice people. And the price was right.

I have been riding for the past 5 years with a not so great jacket. After much research I bought from Fox Creek. Just from the feel of the top quality leather and the weight of the jacket I knew I made the right choice.Your sizing info was right on the money. The best quality for my hard earned money. Really fast service and easy website for ordering.
Can not thank-you enough Fox Creek,

I started small. Bought the vest and loved it. Then moved on to the chaps. Fantastic. Then bought my wife a Classic 2 that was outstanding in every way. I then decided to Step Up to the Classic MC Jacket. Ordered it a size too small and even this was a positive experience. I called Customer Service and asked them to bill me for a second jacket and that I was sending the small one back. This could then be taken off of my Visa. Didn't happen. Customer Service shipped the right size that day. Arrived and fit perfectly. What a super product and company.

I ordered the Classic M/C Jacket 1 and was completely thrilled with the workmanship and grade of leather. I made a slight error on sizing and after calling the service department to reassure myself that sending in the jacket for another size was the right thing to do, I sent the jacket in for exchange. I was very impressed on the turn around time for getting another jacket back. My whole experience has been great. I was very concerned about the internet ordering; however, Fox Creek has minimized my concerns through their customer service department and their products. I was so pleased with the jacket, I ordered a pair of gloves without any hesitation. My experience with Fox Creek exemplifies a company that is focused on service quality. They were not happy until I was so... Thanks.

I bought your jacket in November and hit a deer, just to fill you in, my left arm is still in a cast and I can not put the jacket on fully, but I can't wait, I work for the Cleveland Police Department for the last 30+ years and this is much better then the leathers our motor cycle unit is issued.

I received my jacket on time which was a Tuesday. On the previous Sunday I took a short cruise in the park system and at one point was escorted by a deer. I looked him in his right eye, and that's the last I remember until being escorted by a medical service to get some much needed repair. Back to the jacket, Tuesday a.m. I was able to at least try on the right arm and over my shoulders, I must say that was the best feeling jacket I had had on in a long time, sleeve length, weight, design and just the feel of a quality leather, I wanted to go back and kick butt on the deer but my left arm said "lets get the cast off first", I'll let you know how the left arm fits soon I hope.

It was a crisp clear morning in central NH and I was stoked to be getting out for my first serious ride of the season. Not only did I have a nice new jacket but I had a rippin new Honda VTX-1800R...packed with horse power and beautifully balanced. Cristened Iris by my wife because she was purple (the bike, not my wife) I planed to spend all weekend riding in the beautiful White Mountains of northern NH...some of the best riding anywhere.
I parked it in the saddle and hit the starter. Iriss huge v-twin thundered to life and I prepared to ride. One small glitch...I'd forgotten to unlock the forks; that'll take some getting used to. Soon I was off. I rode for an hour or so before stopping at a scenic overlook to admire the view. The mountain vistas were beautiful but the large scratch in the gas tank was not!! How did this happen? After a small fit...OK a large one, I realized that what had happened was that when I leaned forward to unlock the forks, the large, sharp- edged belt buckle on the front of my jacket had scratched the paint all the way to the primer! Ultimately...the scratch was my own fault. I've since cut the belt off entirely and the jacket works very well without it. The nice, wide side lacing is all you need. My suggestion...get rid of the belt all together as it seems to be ornamental only.
Overall...I've loved this jacket since I first put it on. I took it out of the box and noticed that it weighed a ton. I thought...This thing is going to be very uncomfortable because it's so heavy. I couldn't have been more wrong. The leather is really thick but buttery soft and the cut and fit are perfect so the jacket moves with me easily. The pockets are nice and big and the vents work well too. I feel armored but comfortable. This jacket and I are sure to log a lot of miles together.
Thanks Fox Creek!!!
Happy trails...Ken.

Let me start off by saying that the Classic Motorcycle Jacket I purchased from Fox Creek is great. It replaced a H-D brand jacket that was, well, not 1950s enough for me, and it fits the style requirements to a T. But this jacket is more than just style. It is a tough, rugged jacket made of a heavier gauge leather than the H-D, and put together by people who know their business. I could not be more satisfied.
Usually I am an easy customer, but not in this case. I believe that I went back and forth on the phone several times, and returned two jackets before I was satisfied with the size of the third. All through the process the Fox Creek people were great, and pretended that I was not the least bit unreasonable. It seemed that I was so picky that I became self conscious about my attitude, but the Fox Creek people encouraged me to get what I wanted.
From a customer service point-of-view, and from a product quality standpoint, I could not be more satisfied. If you are reluctant about buying on the Internet, you do not need to worry about these people. They get it right!

I bought my Classic I jacket during DelMarVa Bike week last year (2003). Excellent thick leather, great construction, soft, comfortable. And it fits me just right :) It was so good that I decided to buy my wife the womens classic 1 jacket online. Again, great fit :)
I was so satisfied with the quality of Fox Creek Leather products that I ordered a laced, buffalo nickel vest. The first one I ordered was too big (my fault). But they were prompt in shipping me the next smaller size. Again, great product.
I highly recommend Fox Creek Leather to my riding friends.
I'm eying their saddlebags now :)

I would like to say thank you all at Fox Creek. The Classic Motorcycle Jacket 1 fits better than I had anticipated. It fits like a glove. Last summer I suffered from the heat. My other jacket has a lining that cannot be removed. The zippers aren't of the same quality; and there are no vents. I rode during a hot spell that we had. I didn't feel the heat as I did with the other jacket. My chaps, gloves, and jacket are all from Fox Creek. You all are great. Keep up the good work.

Classic 1 Motorcycle jacket, 2004-05-24

Dear Fox Creek Leather Having had my Harley 1/2 mile jacket cut in two by paramedics following an accident, I decided to treat myself to something special by way of a replacement. Having scoured the Net for some time in an attempt to locate a real quality jacket, I arrived at your site and saw the Classic 1 Motorcycle Jacket.
Initially dubious about ordering from here in the UK, I eventually decided to place an order, and hoped the size, and quality would be correct. Five working days later, I was amazed to have the jacket appear at my home, in England, and was instantly surprised at the weight of the package. Expecting the bulk to be made up of packaging, I was in awe to find the most superb heavy jacket I have seen, in a lifetime of riding. The leather is of the highest quality, and despite the fact that our sizing here in the UK differs from that Stateside, it fits me like a glove.
Even with the additional UK importation tax, amounting to approximately 30 per cent of the jackets value, I am absolutely delighted at the end result, and now have a jacket virtually impossible to find in the UK, and at a fraction of the price. I would thoroughly recommend any biker, in the UK especially, to order products from you, as I experienced nothing but efficiency and helpfulness.
Thank you from one happy(and warm)English biker. Al Felton (Dover) England.

As we say in England, WHAT A CRACKER !!! I needed the best that money could buy and I found it. The leather is thick but very soft, well made, and an excellent design.
As I live in England I thought I would have had a problem getting the right fit but thanks to the excellent staff and advice at Fox Creek it is on the spot! It arrived within a few days which was also very good service. I will gladly endorse this company and product to anyone in England for FREE!!

It took some time and research to find your website but it was worth every bit of it.I have passed the info on to my local bike shop, hoping to ease the time for the next guy.

I bought my Classic I Motorcycle Jacket and chaps(seamless fronts)just over a year ago now. It is the best money I spent for my riding other than the cost of my Harley. The leather is heavy and soft, the mesh liner is great along with the zip out liner. The zippers are heavy duty and don't bind. I have ridden in some pretty cold weather in the winter here, around 3 Celsius and I was comfortable, with the same jacket riding here in the summer at 35 Celsius with lots of humidity, I was still comfortable. The leather is really getting a nice weathered look even after just 1 1/2 years.
The cost is unbeatable, period even with the shipping I paid to have the stuff sent to Japan! My local leather shop said they would sell the same comparable jacket for 2 1/2 or 3 times more than what I paid for it. He wouldn't even sew rally patches on it. He refused, then went on to tell me how much of a waste it would be to sew patches on such a nice jacket. To make a long story short, you won't be disappointed. I have also bought lined and unlined deerskin gauntlets and regular deerskin gloves.

It should be against the law to sell a jacket like this without a hanger to support it. I received my jacket and saw that the the shipping label indicated 10 lbs. I thought Wow this is a heavy jacket. The jacket is everything I wanted and then some. Real comfortable, heavy and keeps the cold off of you. With your customer service and superb quality made in the USA leather, I will definitely be buying all of my leather from you.
Thanks,

Received my jacket in the mail and couldn't wait to try it out. Went out for a ride in 40 degree weather and I couldn't feel a thing. Just wore a sweatshirt underneath. Much thicker than the mall jackets and I love the worn bronze look of the zippers and snaps much more than the stainless steel look. Bought some lined deerskin gloves and they are great. Couldn't find anything in town as good as them and Fox Creek is cheaper. Recommended the gloves to a friend and he bought some and loves them too. Keep up the good work.

It took a long time to find the right jacket for me and I feel I've succeeded with the Fox Creek Classic 1 Jacket. Apart from a few days a year most British riders can ~if they are committed [or silly-like me!] ride right through with no real extremes of weather. However, to be able to that you require a good all round jacket and the classic 1 appears to have excellent cold temperature abilities, a close but adjustable fit and room for extra layers, yet should cope well with higher temperatures as there is a removable liner and four zipper vents, two front and back. Another nice touch is that the outer pockets are leather lined, there's nothing worse than trying to retrieve items that have fallen out the bottom of skimpily made worn out cloth pockets. Last year I was in Prague and the heat was an oppressive 34C - 90f and steamy, I could have done with this jacket then. The quality is high, the price is right and the jacket looks the business!!

I received my Classic yesterday and it is absolutely amazing. I compared it to a previous leather jacket I owned and the difference was obvious, my Classic is just flawless, it's a perfect fit on the arms and is like a glove. I went for a 42 long because of my strange body shape and its absolutely amazing. I had no problems with the delivery from Fox Creek but rather from my own country's darn customs system which added a £73 fine on top of everything else. But other than that if it's leather you're after then Fox Creek should be your first choice.

Well Done!!, 2003-10-10

I received my jacket last Thursday afternoon. When I opened the box it was clear that my money was well spent. Out of all the material and hardware used in its construction, the one thing that sets it apart from the rest is pride. It was flawless. The leather is thick and soft, the hardware is wonderfully matched. The weight of the jacket struck me, as it does those that I've shown it to. Its warmth on cold night rides is surprising. I have had to wear sweatshirts upon sweatshirts under some other jackets I have owned. This one however, took only a long sleeve shirt in 39 degree weather. Size was not a problem, I took a size 50. Just as they recommended.
I feel well protected when I put it on. If (God forbid) I ever do go down, there is no doubt this jacket will hold up to its end of the deal. This jacket is NOTHING like most of the garden variety leathers that most other dealers carry. There is no shine to the leather. Its a soft black with a full warm glow to it. If I hadn't previously purchased a pair of chaps and vest from another vendor, Fox Creek would be the definite choice for those items. I did purchase a pair of the light weight leather gauntlets. They fit perfectly over the sleeves.
Any leather purchases in the future, be it for me or anyone in my family, will come from Fox Creek Leather.

I have owned several riding jackets over the years but this is the end all of jackets. The first time I rode with it on I was taken by its comfort and flexibility. The leather felt broken in right out of the box. But that was just the beginning.....the jacket seams and leather are as good now as the day I took it out of the box almost two years ago. I can not count the number of times people have asked me where I got the jacket. They always assume that it was custom made and cost hundreds more. I have sent three people to Fox Creek and they all say the same thing I wish I would have known about them earlier. The best and nothing less! Thanks for making a product that really is everything you say it is.
Terry
P.S. The chaps and vest I bought are the EXACT same quality. I have bought others but the buck stops at Fox Creek!

Just received my jacket last night. This is one cool piece of gear. It is so well cut and fit that I cannot imagine how comfortable it will feel after it has been worn for a year. I see that your guarantee does not cover knife fights. Just the same, if I were to ever get into one, I would want to be wearing this jacket. It is seriously tough! I will be ordering pants and saddlebags soon.

Your truth in advertising is refreshing. Without a doubt your jacket is the best quality motorcycle jacket available anywhere.

Received my jacket from the post office yesterday. On lifting it out of the box for the first time I was struck by the fine feel of a beautifully prepared garment. The attention to detail is of a very high order. It fits well and still gives me that relaxed feel. Something I wanted but was a bit unsure about getting it. It has all the right bits in all the right places. The vents are brilliant and the pockets are indeed just right and have come up to expectations. I could have bought cheaper in this country.........but I`m glad I gave you the business. I look forward to wearing it for the rest of my life. Thanks for all the on-line help,

Hey Guys,
Just wanted to let you know I got the jacket this afternoon and just in time. It is supposed to be down in the 20’s tonight. The jacket fits perfectly and is the best quality I have seen in quite a few years. The leather already has that “broke in” feel to it. The product is great, it is exceeded only by the customer service I received. Thanks for working with me to make sure the size was right and for keeping me informed of the progress. You even beat the promised delivery date. Great job, great jacket.

Dear Fox Creek Leather:
Wanted you to know I just finished touring the Alps with one of your classic mc jackets and a set of your chaps. I gave them a nice test, they have some pretty love scratches and came out perfect.
I shopped everywhere looking for American made, high quality cycle clothes and you were the ONLY place. On top of it all, your customer service was unbelievable; I was sized up perfectly (from mere description) and express mailed.
Often I was stopped overseas -- many could not believe such great gear was made in the USA.
Your product is as good as, or better, than any First Gear or H-D product I have; a much better money value, and is made in our country.
Thanks

Brothers and Sisters, when we find something good hopefully we will share the wealth with others. I've had leathers (jacket and chaps) tailor made in Korea where I selected the leather and inspected for quality prior to purchase. I thought that they were the best available for the price anywhere. Was I in for a surprise!
I'm here to tell you that I have found a place that has exceeded all my expectations for quality and customer service. Hang in here it gets better! They are actually "American Made"!! Are you sitting down? They are "guaranteed for life"!
I have no vested interest only want to share my good fortune with all Bikers far and wide! My jacket and chaps had to be custom ordered and I am extremely pleased with my jacket. The chaps are on backorder because Lisa went the extra mile to ensure a proper fit.
Thanks Fox Creek. You have exceeded my expectations!!
