Great Pair o' Boots...., 2008-09-23

I'd been searching for a good pair of motorcycle specific boots for a long time, and after trying other brands that didn't work out, I settled on the Rally Boots. They are great.. comfortable and the adjustable velcro straps are nice to have. My left heel and ankle seem to be permanently swollen after a motorcycle accident a year and a half ago, so these boots are perfect for me. My left foot doesn't really fit into regular "engineer" style boots anymore, so the fact that these boots open up right down to the ankle makes sliding them on and off a breeze. And once on, I can leave the left boot a little loose and then tighten up the right boot as needed for what feels like a custom fit on both feet.
This is my first pair of Chippewa boots. I've owned everything from Wolverines and Red Wings to Westcos, and these Chippewas don't disappoint. The quality and finish are top of the line. The leather was supple yet sturdy right out of the box and continues to get only nicer. The leather lining is great too, very comfortable. I have been very pleased with these and don't see why I wouldn't purchase Chippewa again.
