The Eggbutt Snaffle Bit features a 5" copper plated mouth with 2 3/4" rings. This bit has a slightly curved, jointed mouthpiece. A snaffle bit is the most common bit used. Eggbutt snaffle bits work on the poll and the bars of a horse's mouth. The mouthpiece tapers inward from the cheeks. The shape of the cheeks help prevent the horse's mouth from being pinched. Copper causes the horse's mouth to salivate which allows the mouth to stay soft and useable to the rider.
