The Touring Jacket is made of a very soft and supple 1.2-1.4 mm naked cowhide that affords serious protection. There are expansion joints behind the shoulders. Vertical vents run along the sides and on the back of this jacket to allow for airflow during warmer weather. There are two generous inside pockets; right pocket has a snap closure and the left has a zippered closure and two exterior front pockets. The waist has Velcro straps that are over an elastic leather waist that enhance the woman’s shape.

My husband, Don, wanted to find me a birthday present and succeeded wonderfully with this jacket. Being return customers of Fox Creek he correctly felt confident in the quality as well as the personal attention we'd received with other purchases. This leather is just buttery soft and has the best smell. The jacket fits very well, is comfortable, and the weight of REAL quality riding gear adds confidence in my ride here in the mountains of Western North Carolina. The removable lining and vents create a jacket that can be worn in a variation of climate which is really important when riding in an area where temperatures are subject to rapid change in regard to altitude as well as season. I can throw the liner into a saddle bag or zip it inside the jacket at whim. I must add that the people at Fox Creek have been especially helpful with fit since my double mastectomy due to a bout with Breast Cancer. As you can see from the photo my hair has started growing back,(YESSS) and I'm ready to ride again.
