In 1959 at the age of thirteen I saw a woman wearing a classic jacket in Grenwich Village putting down the kickstand on her vintage BMW. She had the air of a gunslinger, the strength of a field hand and the beauty of a covergirl 2. She was at least five years older than I was and I felt cheated.
The jacket is cut extra long in the back with a padded kidney panel. Dual front and rear vents move the air easily through a mesh shell while an internal wind flap stops it cold at the zipper. A zip out full sleeve liner with a hide-away fleece neck warmer completes the climate control package.
Side lacing enables you to contour the jacket to your body and an inside snap pocket is set in the leather facing where it won't rip out. Leather is 1.2 to 1.4 mm soft, thick and supple with a dull finish.
The difference between the Classic I and Classic II is that the Classic I has a watch pocket and a half belt in front. Outside of that they are the same jacket.

I had previously ordered a jacket for myself through another online store, but I decided to order my wife's jacket through Fox Creek because she liked the style of the Classic Motorcycle Jacket I. I have to say that when the jacket arrived, I was jealous. I had paid almost $100 more for mine, but the quality didn't come close to hers. I've decided to purchase another jacket through Fox Creek...for me.
Lets face it, quality motorcycle jackets are not cheap, but if you are looking for quality, protection, great looks, and the best bang for your buck, look no further than Fox Creek. Their jackets are among the finest I've ever seen.

It's been 2, maybe 3 years since I bought this jacket. Yet every time I put it on, I am so grateful for the Fox Creek gentleman who helped me order it. I can't even remember what happened, but the purchase was a little tricky. I'm pretty sure the first one didn't fit—I am 5"9", 130 lb with ridiculously long arms. I normally take a size 8 and probably insisted on getting an 8. Over the phone, the gentleman bruised my ego but advised me I needed a 12 and a couple inches added to the sleeves. This jacket is so perfect... It's the first item of clothing that fits AND has long enough sleeves. I got a custom made fit for an off-the-rack price. It makes me feel fantastic when I wear it and markedly safer while riding. Sometimes I put it on when the world is particularly brutal. My poor husband has to hear me rave about it every time I put it on. He finally said, "Your supposed to say that stuff online on a message board or something!" So there. If you are thinking about it, call Fox Creek, buy the jacket. It's like investing in a good friend. It gets better the longer your together.

Jacket Makes Me Feel Secure, 2006-06-30

We made a personal trip to Fox Creek in April 05 and picked up our jackets before beginning our trip to Alaska. We have traveled over 15,000 miles on our motorcycle in the last 15 months, using it as our primary mode of transportation. As full-time RVers we are currently experiencing the beautiful Smokey Mountains of east TN. I wear my Classic I jacket every time we ride. It makes me feel secure every time I put it on. Going down the road in 90 plus weather, I am very comfortable, not getting hot as one would think in a black leather jacket. I have worn my jacket in the snow and kept warm and worn it when it was hot and kept cool. Only thing I can say is Fox Creek products are Awesome!!! Thanks for a fine quality product I can and have recommended to my friends.
