This is a DOT Vented Shorty Series DOT Motorcycle Beanie Helmet which is the lightest and smallest in the market. Three different shell sizes are used to make different sizes. There are no other helmets on the market that vent like this one. These are tested and keep you 20 Degrees cooler when opened. This Motorcycle Helmet weighs approximately 30 oz and measures 8.5 inches from ear to ear and 10.5 inches from front to back. This has a new EPS liner which is only 1 inch thick compared to 1.5 to 2 inches you will find in other similar helmets

This helmet fits true to Fox Creek's size chart. It's comfortable and vents better than other half helmets I've owned. I'm glad I bought it.

This helmet is the best fitting and looking half helmet I have every owned and I've owned a lot trying to find one that doesn't look like a big mushroom on top of my head. These helmets are made using different size shells exactly as advertised. The price is very reasonable for a product of this quality - as are all the products I have ever purchased from Fox Creek - plus the customer service is the best every.

Not a bad lid for your money. You could spend more, but why? Fact is, the more expensive helmets are bigger, heavier, and more uncomfortable, and they're no more protective than this one is.
The helmet is comfortable, but if you like to wear even a thin do-rag under it, you might want to size up. I get a terrible headache if I wear a rag under this lid.
